Our Erisa Bond expired 4 months ago…
We had a problem with our Erisa bond expiring. I submitted a previous review with one star but Colonial has made it right and gotten everything corrected. I received a call from a manager and he gave me his personal cell # to call in the future if we have problems. Kudos to Colonial for reaching out and getting the problem corrected.

I have two different policies one got…
I have two different policies one got renewed one did not and I went to renew and all I can do is upgrade, so I’m not even sure if that was required?

Stressful
I stress about this because you ask for total plan assets. For vendor plans, they list the totals, but the individual brokerage accounts take time, and I've been keeping track for this purpose only. Also, I'm in tax deadline and test deadline mode; deadline is 3/15, this has to be done by 3/3. The account managers are awesome and help with kind reminders. This year was less stressful - thank you!

Bond Renewal
I never receive renewal notification our bond. Communicating with your company is painful. Always feel like you are bothering them. Again, this year did not receive bond renewal notification. After contacting you I mailed my check on the 6th of February. The bond renewed on the 25th. I received a letter indicating non payment and bond expired. I contacted your office again and asked the individual to check with your accounting department regarding our payment. Never heard back. We have never had a smooth transition of our bond renewal nor a helpful experience with your staff.
