Great paints, great colours, great customer service. I just had a small issue with a damaged delivery and they went above and beyond to address it.

The quality of the paint is great and I found the exact colour I was looking for that I just couldn’t find with other brands. I did use a Coat peel & stick tester prior to purchasing the actual paint and it was an exact match which again is something I’ve struggled to find with other brands. The fact that my order arrived next day was even better! I will definitely be using Coat paints again in the future 😊

I ordered the samples first. Love that I could stick them in different places in the room before we decided on our colour. I cannot express how chuffed I am. The paint is by far the best I’ve used. Great coverage, only needed one coat, quick drying and the exact colour of the sample, which often isn’t the case with other brands. I will definitely be back - thank you COAT!

The peel and stick samples are easy to order, quick to arrive and we had them stuck on several walls over several weeks so we could see different colour combinations, what they look like in different lights. Much better than painting directly onto a wall!

Once we'd settled on our paints we placed the order which arrived within days. Packaging was very good as well.

The paint itself is simply gorgeous. Very little odour, quick drying emulsion and the finish is stunning.

We will definitely be using Coat Paints for any future projects.

First time Coat user, good quality paint, great opacity and finished wall matched sticky sample perfectly, durability an unknown as yet, time will tell. Delivery to Shetland was even very good! Sometimes courier delivery to the far flung reaches of the UK can be problematic! On this occasion, no issues. To sum up, paint not the cheapest but quality, ease of use and finish achieved could not be faulted! Happy customer!

Service was prompt and the paint arrived within 48 hours of ordering. The quality, as described by other reviewers, is excellent and the paint a joy to use. Very little smell and brushes easy to clean afterwards. I love the finish. I had bought more than I needed and the return of the extra 1 litre was easy and the refund very quick. An excellent company.

I gave it 4 stars only because after two coats it peeled off with masking tape, other than that I love the colour :) I have a dark dining room so decided to embrace the darkness and went with 2AM dark blue. It was a choice between that and farrow and ball hague blue. I am happy with my choice :) I am now pondering over the oxblood red shades for the living room but no regrets on choosing the paint for the dining room at all.

I’ve been a bit hesitant to try Coat as it has been only advertised on Instagram. But I’m so glad I did! They have a beautiful range of colours that you cannot find anywhere else.

The colour we chose looks unbelievable in our living room and it has so much coverage! I would def recommend getting the paint samples as the stickers don’t really reflect fully the materiality of the wall! Will be purchasing other colours in the future.

The paint was delivered quickly and well packaged. The colour was as expected and went on very well. No awful smells and easy to wash the roller and brush out. I definitely recommend and will use again.

Excellent experience all round - lovely range of colours, love the stick-on samples and the fan deck with helpful explanations of the undertones of the paint colours. I’ve had some really helpful advice re choice of colour/finish and decorating tips and my first tin of paint was creamy and went on very smoothly. Would thoroughly recommend.

I’ve had nothing but issues with this paint recently. Coat customer service has been terrible and are now not responsive.
As a highly experienced and professional decorator I know full well what I am doing and when something isn’t right.
I reported the extra tin of paint I ordered for a project, was drying with every brush and roller mark- the other areas were fine. So I’d isolated the problem and batch number. Well, I had the same poor finish on another job. Reported it and was sent new paint- but same batch numbers!
I had the same issue. Reported it again, with full info, pictures and methods.
Coats utterly fictitious excuse is that I’ve been caught out by the recent hot weather. Which is nonsense and provable! There is and order date, location and all my photos are time date and location stamped. There is historical and factual weather data that proves it has nothing to do with environmental conditions.
There is an issue with their formula.
Meanwhile I’ve had to start another job and the client is set on coat colours. I informed coat I wasn’t confident about their paint. Said paint arrived- after my complaint. Both times had been opened prior to delivery, the paint is loose, runny and has not covered in 4 coats( off white over white) I’ve taken photos, I’ve recorded the temperature and supplied the information and Coat have simply ignored me.
My first customer is requesting I repaint the whole room in a different brand, the second customer said to repaint using another brand and I’m not even being offered a response to the latest issue.
Coat have now directly cost me the loss of around 3 weeks pay 100s in materials and I still need to cover the costs of putting it all right for my clients.
The paint is absolutely awful- it’s simply not fit for purpose, even their on line technical data sheets give vastly different and conflicting details.
Coat are shameful for not even responding.

Paint was received on time and is great quality (commended by our decorator who’d not used Coat before and will start to buy from them in future). A minor issue was sorted with exceptional grace, speed and customer care - a true example of great customer service. Will absolutely be buying again.

Love the paint the colours and quality but the constant emails off the company is ridiculous, almost puts you off buying anything else .
