With all the money I have put into the account and have been told numerous times that 3 of the 4 creditors would be sent for my approval for payment and I was told this would happen in February 2024, here it is the middle of March and NONE of the creditors have been dealt with, no paperwork has been sent to me for approval of anything and when I call, even though the representatives are friendly, nothing seems to be getting done with any of my creditors. I was told that with all the money in my account, this process would go fast, the money is still sitting in the account and no creditors have been paid. I am tired of being told the same thing, I just want them to pay the debts. Their website is not updated and it still looks as though they haven't even contacted my creditors.

Pattern of Complaint:
On December 29, 2023 BBB contacted Clear Creek Legal regarding a pattern of complaint. BBB files indicate that this business has a pattern of complaints with consumers alleging they requested a refund, but that it was not received. They also state that they were told they could cancel at any time with no penalties, but that large fees were deducted from the money that they had put in escrow leaving them with a small percent of the money they had contributed. The cost of the program is higher than paying off debt without the company’s services. In addition, consumers are not aware of their debt account status. Consumers claim the company allows their debts to go into default due to neglect.

As of January 26, 2024 the business has failed to respond to the BBB's request to voluntarily address the pattern of complaint.

Is a scam. They take your money, give barely anything back if you cancel, and they do not even guarantee that you will have a lawyer if/when you are sued by your creditor. You also have to have money to pay immediately if they do settle. They lie, have wait times where you spend 4 hours plus waiting just to talk with someone if/when you have issues. Do not use this company they are a scam and just steal your money.

I had acquired new bills and couldn't pay my monthly credit card debt. I thought they could help. But after 4 months of putting escrow in my account, the creditors offered better settlements than clear creek had so I wanted to cancel. When I did, they only refunded me half of what I put in escrow. Do not use this company. They are just a group of money hungry attorneys and associates claiming to have good status with creditors. SCAM

Kind, knowledgeable, informed of step by step process, very very professional, atty's and staff answer all questions and actually does what agreed upon and with proof. Awesome company and atty's. Thank you for reaching out to me to help me get through a rough time after the pandemic.

Unfortunately I can’t give a negative 0, do not fall for this company, you pay and pay and pay and when you get sued they don’t do anything, their response was you go to court and you figured out, our attorneys hasn’t reviewed your case and court is in 4 days, what kind of a joke is this, we should All get together and sue this company, I would bring this to tv and radio, they think they can mess with everyone and not been touch legally, we’ll let’s see if they are untouchable

I’ve being calling for a whole week and no answer, only says to call during business hours which is what I’m doing and still nothing. I don’t know what else to do to get in touch with someone.

SCAM! check their BBB accreditation. It was revoked.

I was with them for five months and was told I could cancel at any time with no penalty. My withdrawal was $312.89 a month and they were suppose to negotiate a settlement with my creditors. I check my balance the other day and out of the over $1500.00 deposited they took over $1300.00 in fees I had like $157.00 left. I was never told about those fees and would not have gotten involved with them at all. Now can not get a hold of them,

For the past week I have been trying to contact Clear Creek Legal to discuss a matter. Everyday no matter the time of day the same responses saying we are closed and are hours from M-F, 9 am-5:30 pm ET. I am very much concerned as to what is going on. I will try again on Monday the 22nd to contact someone.

Not sure how I have been paying my feen monthly for almost a year and I check the “escrow” account I have less than 200 dollars in there I’m not very satisfied with this whole thing nobody communicated with me that most of what I was paying in wasn’t going g to actually go toward my debt

They keep us up to date on everything going on with our accounts

They are very easy to work with and guide you thru every step of the process. They listen and help take care of your problems in a quick and efficient manner

I have tried to contact the offices of Clear Creek Legal. They say they are open from 9 to 530 Eastern time Monday through Friday, but this doesn’t seem to be the case I am receiving notices from all my creditors.

My creditors have been hounding me and are threatening me with collection notices. I've tried calling Clear Creek multiple times, no one answers the phone and no way to leave a message.

After six months my first settlement happened. It's nice to see progress. I just wished we got updates along the way.

That I don’t have to deal with those companies. Thank very much

They did exactly what they said they would do.
