Offer you money back instead of returning the item.
Stay away... I would give zero if I could.

Bought a ball gown wasn't cheep and it is the most cheapest dress I've ever seen absolutely awfull can not get hold of them for a refund either would stay clear

I’d give ZERO stars if I could. Poor quality items. I wanted to return an item which was too large. Told I would have to return to their “ supplier in China” and ignored my point thst my contract was with them not their supplier. They couldn’t/ wouldn’t then provide a return address. Ended up accepting 40% of the price just to retrieve something. Total scam. DONT BUY FROM THIS SITE

This review is for Clara Kensington , its been changed to Clara london dont know if they are the same. I ordered 2 jackets, they arrived very late and in a rolled up ball so came out looking horrible. The quality is very poor, the seams poorly sown and dont drop right. When i emailed stating i wanted to return and refund which im intitled too they do everything to drag the process out, im still waiting....DONT TOUCH THIS COMPANY !!!. THEY ARE AWKFUL!!

Clara sold a lie. They showed a blouse that they said was silk but when it arrived it was a cheap looking polyester
They then said I would have to pay to return it to china

Items purchased low quality and smaller than needed.
Tried returning. No response despite several attempts.

I should have read the reviews (which I normally do!) before I made the purchase!
Do not buy from this company the product I received was very poor.
The pictures advertising the cardigan was of a beautiful soft looking woollen fabric in cream and blue with brown buttons. What I received was a very flat cardigan in what I can only describe as a dirty cream and blue and of poor quality ( the cream colour is reminiscent of a ceiling in a pub that had smokers.. so yellow.)
Not going to attempt to return and ask for a refund as reviews suggest this doesn’t go well! I’ll put it down to experience next time check reviews before ordering .

Product cheap nylon type material Tweed print…offered various discounts to keep the rubbish…had to settle at 60% as the return to China not economical…total scam appalling conduct especially at this time when financial climate in UK is so tough…avoid this Company..🙈

My mum is left £210 short for 3 laundry baskets she bought for Christmas presents look nothing like picture or as described worth about £1 she’s 80 I bet you feel good ripping off an old lady refusing refund and asking to pay shipping to china next stop Facebook let’s get this company took down before they scam anyone else with there false advertising shame on you

I ordered 4 dresses that were far too big. I've tried to contact Clara in London about a return, using the contact address but I've had no reply, although they claim to respond in 24 hours. I'm concerned the refund will not in fact be possible.

Purchased items too big and one item not a good colour. Changed to smaller size and also changed one item to different colour. All this took a while, but sorted to my satisfaction so far.

The coat I ordered in a medium sadly was too tight. I wouldn't get a jumper underneath. I gave it to a friend who is a slight build and she was most greatful.

I had ordered a winter coat and I found it to be good quality, but it still runs on the small size even though I sized up. So it will be a snug fit for me. It seemed to have come from China that I usually avoid due to sizing issues.

Disappointing returns and refund process

I purchased a pair of trousers from Clara London, but unfortunately they did not fit me. The trousers were unused and in their original condition, so I contacted customer service to request a return and full refund.

I was told that I would need to return the item internationally at my own expense, with the return potentially taking 3–4 weeks to complete. Instead of providing a straightforward return solution, I was repeatedly offered partial refunds to keep the item — initially 25%, which was later increased to 35%.

I ultimately accepted the 35% refund because I did not want to deal with the cost and lengthy process of an international return, but I found the whole experience very disappointing. I would have preferred a straightforward return and full refund for an unused item that simply didn’t fit.

AVOID. AVOID. AVOID. Company does not respond to emails. Item poor quality and not as described. Hope you've Googled and read the reviews in time and you haven't placed an order.

Delivery delayed items not received ontime when no longer needed .they refused to cancel same day when asked. They refused to provide full refund offering 10%refund and for me to keep the items, return was in China and stated i am responsible to pay to return the items. The return address to China is not stated on the website, sizing was too small. Do not use this company its the worst they deserve , stars, currently raising a dispute.

Poor quality jacket,no labels,refused return and just either compensated 8 pounds, or could send back to China, for a lot of money, and no guarantee. Don't use this company

Avoid – my experience was extremely concerning

I wish I had checked independent reviews before ordering from Clara London.

The garment I received was of extremely poor quality and bore no Clara London branding whatsoever — no Clara London label, no branded tag and no branded packaging. It arrived in a generic plastic bag and, in my opinion, was nothing like the quality or branded retail product presented by the website.

When I requested a full refund, I was initially offered 25% to keep the item. After I refused, the offer increased to 50%, and then to 60%.

If I wanted a 100% refund, I was told that I had to pay for tracked international postage myself and return the garment to an address in Yiwu, Zhejiang, China.

I found this particularly concerning given the “London” branding and the fact that the garment itself contained no Clara London branding.

I have retained the garment, packaging, photographs, screenshots and all of the correspondence documenting the successive 25%, 50% and 60% refund offers and the Chinese return address.

After this happened, I discovered that other customers have reported very similar experiences, and Which? has also investigated Clara London as part of an article about “bogus boutiques”.

Based on my own experience, I would strongly recommend that anyone considering purchasing from this website research independent reviews first and understand where returns may actually have to be sent.

Awful experience. Very poor quality clothing and not from expected location. Awful customer service who don’t even uphold their own returns policy for ‘defective’ items. Nightmare. Do not purchase goods from here!
