Great experience
Felt compelled to write a review as our experience was overwhelmingly positive. Ordered bed and mattress, selected delivery date. Received emails confirming the order and then the processing. The day before delivery I was given a 3 hour slot (on the day selected) to either confirm or reschedule. On the day the drivers texted 40 mins beforehand. Everything was delivered no issues, we have assembled most of it and the bed is good condition, very sturdy. Would definitely order from this company again.

Awful experience. Poor customer service from the start. If you purchase, you get the option to select a date to deliver. Ignore this! They deliver on a date to suit their courier, in our case 2 weeks out from the date selected.
The bed itself (trasman girona) was awful to put together, it took three times as long as the instructions indicated. Fixings were poor quality and even now the bed is still creaky with doors not fitting properly etc.
I don't recommend this store.

Very bad customer service we ordered 2 beds and we assembled the first one with no problem then we saw on some of the wood parts of the other bed it had dents and scratches all over and we assembled it and after 5 minutes there was cracks on the edges and the places for the screws were too big and we got in contact and told them this and they said it was a assembling issue but we said that we had done the first without any problems the quality of the wood of the second one was very bad and it is not a issue with assembling it was a quality issue and they said that we will send replacement parts and we showed many pictures that almost every part hard a problem with it either had dents or scratches or cracks and we asked for a replacement bed as we almost all the parts had problems with it and we showed proof however they still insisted on replacement parts even though the whole bed needs replacing.

Upon order of my goods, I received a lengthy email from the company about the delivery, which i did not read throughly.
They basically tell you to record your delivery in detail, as no damage will be covered if you accept the delivery. Despite not knowing if the items are damaged because they arrive in multiple boxes.
When the bed arrived, I accepted the delivery, there was slight damage to the exterior of the boxes, but again, you can't see if the actual bed is damaged until you open them.
Unfortunately for me, one of the large pieces that holds the top of the bed has broken during assembly because of damage during transport and literally landed on my foot. The desk was also badly damaged on one corner (literally the opposite side of the bed to the other damage)
I contacted the company to be told that this was my fault, although still offered to replace the parts "free of charge" but wanted £75 delivery fee.
Luckily I paid with a credit card and am currently in dispute via my bank.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Furniture has lasted less than two…
Furniture has lasted less than two years & is now falling apart, my 7 year old now has to climb steps that are corroding and falling apart. Furniture looks to a good quality but far from it! Unable to get any further assistance from company due to being out of warranty but would have never have spent so much money if i knew it was going to have chunks of wood falling off! Would love to post pictures of the awful quality not happy at all!

Daughter couldn't tolerate chemical smell from bed, after a phone call was refused any refunds.
Other companies allow 30 days, 90 days etc so try the mattress, its worth the extra money next time.

Relatively easy to put together as it was part assembled. Beautiful solid oak, looks amazing and it was more than £100 cheaper on efurn than the same piece on three other sites. 2-man delivery to room of choice was also free as there was an offer on. Would highly recommend and will be buying more.

I thought the service from the Childrens bed shop was fab. A little worried when read other reviews but my experience was excellent. Ordered a small double bed for my growing son, along with a new chest of drawers (both items out of stock elsewhere) and delivered on time, in full, no damage via a very friendly delivery person. Very friendly staff, who when i called to confirm order was definitely coming on selected day, went out of their way to help. I would highly recommend this company
AVOID
AVOID! We bought 2 beds for my daughters, but they smell of chemicals! Tried everything to get rid of it, nothing works. Waited over a month but rooms smell awful when you enter even with windows open all day. The beds are very expensive so expectations were high. Contacted HO but they’re denying it. Asked to send someone over so they can smell for themselves but they’re saying all products tested and it’s impossible they smell. Basically calling me a liar! Do not buy! They’re in the business of poisoning children! Should be ashamed of themselves.

Surprised how many negative reviews are here.. our order arrived promptly and is fantastic quality. Our girls love it and it looks great!
I was hesitant to order at first but as they were the only stockist of the bunk I wanted so I was stuck.
I called beforehand and spoke to someone who was lovely and very clear about their policies and how replacement parts would be dealt with. They also said they request feedback on Feefo where their reviews are better (whereas lots here are angry customers only)
The main thing that it seems trips people up is they don't do returns/refunds if you change your mind. So make sure you have measured your space and are certain you want to go ahead. Also know that if a part arrives damaged it just that one piece that the company will arrange a replacement for so you will be stuck with all the other bits in the meantime.

Bought a bed and a mattress for my little boy’s bedroom through Children’s Bed Shop. Service and communication was great with confirmation over text for the time and date of delivery. Bed was easy to assemble, good experience overall!

Purchased several pieces of Julian Bowen Maine Bedroom items and very impressed with the quality and sturdiness of the range. The delivery experience was also perfect where I was provided a timed slot and also had the items delivered to my bedroom which was a big help as the boxes were very heavy! Overall, I had a very pleasant experience with Children's Bed Shop and would highly recommend!
Shocking Customer Service – Avoid This Company
I ordered a bed with a Kids Avenue Sleeptight PREMIUM Pocket Mattress (£199) but received a much cheaper foam mattress with no pocket springs (£129). My daughter found it incredibly uncomfortable, and when I realised it wasn’t the right one, I reached out to customer service with clear proof that what I received was not what I ordered. Instead of helping, they refused responsibility because "too much time had passed" and the mattress had been used. They blamed their supplier and even implied I was lying! Despite my evidence, they were dismissive, unhelpful, and disregarded the photos. To top it off, they disconnected the conversation when I asked for the supplier's contact details and told me to contact Citizens Advice. Absolutely untrustworthy – avoid this company if you want honest customer service and the products you actually paid for!

Just to find out that after entering my details, i was ineligible for free delivery or the extra off offers.
Absolutely ridiculous that north wales misses out on delivery promotions. LL covers everywhere from Wrexham to the north west coast and many are fair sized centres of population.

Everything in their terms and conditions is in their favour to protect them from the comeback of supplying cheap crap that seems to arrive damaged most of the time. We ordered a High Riser bed we filled…
We ordered a High Riser bed we filled in the web form during which at some point their system transposed our postcode for one in Walton on the Naze. We informed them that this was incorrect they then demanded that we pay £109:20 we refused and demanded they return our money. They returned the money all but the £109:20. This is on our opinion blatant theft. We have contacted trading standards and will be looking at court action against this company. STAY FAR, FAR AWAY from this company.

Awful customer service, absolutely shocking approach.
My mattress should arrive on 30 th of August still waiting. Spoke with Sonia and Mark but they are absolutely useless... No update, no refund. Have to contact my bank for full refund.
Can't believe they still trading... Stay away from this company.
