Needed a plumber last Sunday. A chap called Dam arrived and sorted the relatively simple issue in 15-20min. Charged £385 and refused to leave the house until it was paid into his bank account. I have emailed and called the company on a number of occasions to ask for an itemised invoice to forward to my insurance company as this is part of a larger claim. Each time they have failed to supply me with said invoice. They carried out a simple job but their charges and customer service are awful. I would recommend that anyone considering using them exercise extreme caution. I don’t know if they are a rogue company but I do know that their business methods do a very good job of imitating one.

This company ripped a pensioner off , charging her £625.20 to fit iners in a toilet cystine , they have several different mobile numbers when you try calling, then hang up on you , to complain, as the quote given , was half to what they had quoted my elderly mother , then charged her double at the payment time , also they accuse you of blackmail, when asking for explanations , and confront , there wrongful charges , avoid this company at all costs

Google is blocking me from leaving a review for this company. Do not use them. They are an umbrella company. I was naive and didn't check the price before arrival. I needed a tap replaced. After he removed the tap the plumber Liviu Balan said it would be £249. He deliberately waited to tell me the price until it was too late to tell him to leave. He said he makes £180 per hour. When I try to leave a Google review it says they are unable to publish at this time

Don’t be fooled by the website and positive reviews!….. or the fancy tool bag and head torch. These people are not who they say they are!!
The so called ‘engineer’ (as he called himself) arrived an hour late and it was clear within five minutes that he had very little (if any!) plumbing knowledge whatsoever. I’m no expert but could tell in his ‘consultation’ that he hadn’t a clue what he was talking about.
When he came to leave he asked for £109 call out and consultation fee. In view of the fact he had no van outside (allegedly parked down the road …. hmmm), no ID and very little knowledge I rang the company to check who they’d sent for the job. ‘We’ll get back to you’ 🤷🏼‍♀️…. happened twice even though I said he was standing there waiting his money. Told him I wasn’t paying until I’d checked his credentials. He eventually wrote down bank details and left, saying he’d be back in the morning to fit a new shower ….. providing I’d paid the £109.
The ‘company’ rang back about two hours later asking what I’d previously rung for. I explained and for a third time and they said they’d ring me back. Told them not to bother- I’d arranged for a professional consultation and obviously hadn’t had one and was NOT happy to pay. Told them not to bother sending ‘Ali’ back the next day …… (would he really have tried to install a new shower 😳😱?). I didn’t even need one….. it worked for a few minutes and then the water just stopped but it was clearly down to water supply problems not the shower itself. He wouldn’t go in the loft to look at the water tanks even though the overflow has been leaking onto my patio….. He said that wouldn’t be the problem and “[he’s] the’engineer” ….. yeah, right!!
Thankfully, I haven’t parted with a penny and have no intention of doing so. The company on the phone said ‘we’ll leave it then’….. what reputable company would do that?

Rogue traders, charge almost £1000 to unblock basin and toilet then still didn't fix the issue. Unable to get hold of anyone to explain what exactly had been done, they also are known as EMR Homeserv Ltd

Absolutely shocking traders. Do not use this company. Unable to review as no social media presence which speaks volumes. They do not supply local trade and they are not qualified plumbers they send to you. We had a toilet hanging off our wall after these cowboys came. We’re Out of pocket and out of patience!!!

This company used Google promotion to appear top in a search for an emergency plumber. They directed me to a plumber who was intent on scamming us for as much as they could. He charged us £4,320 for 4 hours work (unauthorised in advance) and insisting on being paid immediately by bank transfer or the plumber would not leave our property. All communications with Charles Plumbing Services have been ignored. They have not even acknowledged any responsibility. A letter before action including all evidence was rejected by the director. They will continue to behave badly until customers stop using them. Be warned!

Adam came out and replaced the seal on our toilet after water flooded everywhere. He was very knowledgeable and got the job done much faster than expected. Very good service and great job

Had a blocked bath and basin. Came within the hour. Not an easy job with my piping but both cleared. Very pleased with the result. Great guy did the job.

Please guys charge reasonably for a 1 hr job and that too not cleaning the waste and drilling my house leaving everything for us to sort. Day light robbery is the best phrase for your charge. Now we have to find another plumber to fix a tap in the shower which you closed access. I wouldn't blame your staff as he works for your company. Guys do a business with ethics.
My real experience..and they are not posting negative reviews on their page as I saw my review not published.

They charged nearly £600 to fix a shower mixer tap which seems expensive even for an emergency call out which lasted less than an hour. When asked why the charge was so high, they said it was to be paid by the landlord anyhow. Despite phone calls requesting an invoice over a period of weeks, nothing was forthcoming. It might be worthwhile to get a rough idea of cost before asking them to carry out work.
