From beginning to end, from reception, through technicians and theatre staff, this was an exemplary experience. There is a calm almost cosy atmosphere throughout. My trifocal toric lenses, fitted by Mr Daya have given me better vision than I can ever remember having. It is life changing to be able to discard my glasses completely.

I was very impressed with the efficiency and care I received at Centre for Sight. Every thing was explained and the procedure went very well. Having had Trifocal lenses implanted I am a little disappointed that I am struggling to read, but I am assured that this will improve.

Following a visit to my Optician during the Spring of 2021 I decided to follow their advice and get my cataracts removed and find out whether my vision as a whole could be improved. I had problems with my long and short-distance sight and also quite a high level of astigmatism. Added to that I was nearly 80 years old at the time and was really anxious to keep my independence and joy in life.
The optometrist referred me to The Centre for Sight as she told me she could highly recommend them. I am really grateful to her for this as I have been delighted with the care and results of my operation and treatment.
I was extremely nervous of the whole procedure as I was fully aware that, as with all operations one has to be prepared to take some risk and to trust that one is in the hands of experts, but my eyesight seemed to me to be the most precious thing I possessed so it was not easy for me to get on with it.
After my assessment and consultation with Mr Sheraz Daya, I decided to have the Laser Cataract extraction and the Trifocal Toric Lenses in order to correct all the problems I was experiencing with my sight. To this day I am amazed that Mr Daya developed these lenses and that it is possible to achieve such amazing results for his patients. I cannot emphasize enough how grateful I am for his expertise and knowledge and the care and kindness shown to me by all his wonderful assistants and staff.
The operation was painless and the aftercare has been excellent, especially as I needed some adjustments to be made to one of the lenses some weeks after my operation. Today I wake each morning and can’t believe how lucky I am. I can read well without glasses and can drive a car without fear and colour and clarity have returned to my life.

I've been going to Center for Sight for quite some time. Recently I had my yearly eye exam and new glasses. The optical technician at the University location, Dan, is exceptional. I would give 6 stars - thank you Dan.

I had trifocal lenses inserted in both eyes and the resulting improvement means I no longer need glasses of any sort and my long sight is probably better than it has ever been. The service provided by Centre for Sight has been excellent both for the operations and the follow up calls and appointments.

To say 'Thank You' does not convey how I feel and the difference it has made to my life.
From the moment you walk into the Centre For Sight, one is put at ease, which
starts with the Reception Team and continues through with the technicians
and testing, the care and consideration is excellent. Mr. Sheraz - with the aid
of his team - emphasizes with the patients feelings and with his skill performs
miracles. I could not see with my right eye and now my eyesight is restored.
I no longer need glasses and my life has changed for the better. I will
recommend the Centre For Sight to anyone I know who needs help.

I was referred to The Centre for Sight by my optician. My initial consultation took place about ten days later, and it was agreed that I would have my cataract removed and a monofocal vision lens implanted. It was agreed that I would then wait for three months before having surgery. The Consultant and the staff were excellent and couldn’t do enough to put me at my ease. I went back after three months for final consultation and a date given for my surgery. I subsequently had the procedure which was fantastic and I can’t believe the difference in my sight. The aftercare procedure was explained to me and eventually after 6 weeks I was discharged. I am so pleased I had this done and I would not hesitate to go back in the future should I need to. What a great place. Thank you so much.

From my initial consultation and throughout my surgery and the follow up appointment my experience at the Centre for Sight has been an extremely positive one. The surgery has improved my quality of life a great deal. I would recommend Mr Daya and the team to anyone considering laser lens replacement.

Very professional team, great service. Informative and friendly

I had been thinking about eye surgery for ages but honestly wished I had it done years ago, having just returned from holiday for the first time, it has changed my life.
Centre for Sight has been very thorough and checked and double checked everything so I felt in very safe hands from the initial consultation to after care. Although I am happy with the results the vision in my right eye vision is not 100% and Centre for Sight has arranged for a further check up in 2 months.

I had replacement lens surgery in June 2019, all went well, surgeon and staff made me very much at ease.
Unfortunately, I was one of a very small percentage that had a problem. I had gel form behind lens of the left eye, they tried several YAG laser treatments to release the gel, but in the end I had to have another operation to release gel in November 2019. Again surgeon and staff made me very much at ease. Operation was successful, but again unfortunately I had a problem with the retina and high pressure, so have been on eye drop since then, with regular check up and improving all the time.
In the meantime during one of my regular check ups they notice that a bit of membrane had attached to retina in the right eye, that was cleared with YAG laser treatment and is now cleared.
I went for one of my check ups a week ago and am pleased to say that things still seem to be going in the right direction, My next check up is not until December 2021.
Again I would mention that all surgeons and staff had been very professional, very helpful and friendly at all times.
Centre for Sight have keep my doctor fully up to date at all times.
I therefore would have no hesitation to recommend Centre for Sight.

Had lens replacement by Mr Daya on both my eyes at the same time. All done very quickly and with no problems. All the staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. The anesthetist was so kind and reassuring before the procedure. I now have 20 20 vision and have not needed my reading glasses since the procedure. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the centre for sight and am so glad I chose them.

Excellent care - had one cataract operated on Monday and the second on Wednesday. 20/20 vision the day after each procedure. Delighted with the outcome.

I have received first class treatment throughout from a very friendly, and helpful team. The facilities at both Oxshott, and East Grinstead were well equipped, and clean. Everything went entirely to plan, and all appointments kept with timings adhered too.
As for the operation, everything was explained to me in detail beforehand, and the final result was better than I expected. I had not fully realised how over the years my sight had diminished, and was quite shocked to discover how much more clearly I was able to see. To be able to throw away my spectacles was simply wonderful.
Two weeks after the surgery I drove to, and from Surrey to Cornwall without any difficulty.

I had been aware that my vision had deteriorated over the last 2 to 3 years. A fellow doctor spoke very highly of the Centre for Sight and so I had a consultation and examination which confirmed that my vision was frankly appalling! The surgeon and I discussed the options available and decided that as I had worn spectacles all my life, to correct my vision to render spectacles unnecessary would not be my preferred option. I elected to have my cataracts removed and lenses implanted to give me good distance vision but I would still need spectacles for reading. The surgery was simple and much less scary than I thought it would be. All the staff were terribly kind and very reassuring all the way through the procedures. My distance vision is now better than it has ever been, and wearing reading glasses at the moment is no hardship at all

My Centre for Sight experiences from 2006 to now have been the same - very professional and friendly staff who guide you through every step of the way.
