Ok the title says it all. Ordered standard delivery 9/5/25 delivered 21/5/25. Opened and all seems to be there. First notification something was happening was a text from parcelforce that it was out for delivery. Emailed prior to this but no reply. Items ship from Dublin so expect a delay, what with brexit and everything. Communication could be considerably better but it got here. Don’t buy if you need quick delivery, if you have time it’s all good.

I ordered a set of roof bars for my Alfa Romeo Stelvio, quite used to lack of options for the car, not here. I chose a Norbar set for use with solid roof rails, the descriptions on the website are great to help make sure you choose the right product. Product arrived in 6 working days on Standard delivery, happy with that. The product was good, well priced and easy to assemble and fit, I hadn't thought about the front and rear bars being different lengths due to the roof design, these guys have great product knowledge and supplied the bars as required. All in, a good experience, the only thing missing for me was the communication that the order was on its way, had a message from Parcelforce about an hour before it was delivered, I was at work so no option other than collect from my local Post Office the following day, far from a nightmare but avoidable with a little comms set up. Thank you guys, I would buy from you again.

I wanted to get a good quality bike rack for my partners birthday. After scanning all the usual places, I found Car racks and they seemed to have a great range. After ordering, I did get a little nervous as the delivery date showed 3 months away and answers to enquiries were a little slow. However, when I got the bike rack it was superb quality. I haven't seen anything as good as this in the UK - so overall I am happy.

Got my order eventually, but no dispatches email. No tracking provided. Longer delivery time than stated.
But the worst is that they won’t reply to any emails, making returns impossible.
Lol pay someone to do your customer services guys, and get your act/buisness together!!

Absolutely horrendous, scam company have not received any response or confirmation of order or even my order!!! Money had been taken, no idea whats going on, disgusting dont touch

With so many negative reviews I thought it only right that I should write a review of my experience. I bought roof bars for my car at a great price, when asking about delivery from MicksGarage.com communication was good and delivery was quick. I have no hesitation in recommending this company and would definitely use them in the future.

Ordered these with standard delivery. Tried to accelerate delivery but they never responded to my emails. Communication was shockingly poor. But delivery came after 1 week and the product is good.
Would have saved me much stress if they had only communicated better

No tracking number given. Phoned and emailed to no joy. Eventually got email to say my address was wrong and was at my local PO. Rang PO and said need tracking number. Eventually they turn up by not Royal Mail but parcel force. Opened to see these are not the racks I ordered and not even in the price range I paid. (A lot cheaper version) DO NOT BUY from this company… let’s see how my refund will go when I send racks back. Don’t hold much hope

There appears to be some scaremongering going on and thankfully I didn't see the reviews prior to ordering. I ordered roofbars on the Sunday, this morning Thursday I received notification from Parcelforce that delivery would be this afternoon. I used normal not expedited delivery so 4 working days was a promise that was kept

Ordered a roof rack, paid for 2/3 day delivery it has finally arrived from Ireland a week later.

Roof bars are good and were a good price. Took a week to arrive with priority 1-2 day delivery, included a bank holiday. Appears to be a UK company but is actually in Ireland, would be better if they were honest about this instead of hiding it. Communication wasn’t great, got order confirmation but nothing else including to emails until proof of delivery. Phone number doesn’t work. Was getting worried due to poor reviews but all was good in the end. Would have rated higher if I hadn’t wasted so much time trying to get in touch with them

Paid extra for 1-2 days delivery of a roof rack, tool 10 days to arrive.
No tracking number sent, no replies to emails all week. Then item just randomly turns up.
Run a mile, buy from a trusted seller instead.

If these are the UK's No1 the rest must be terrible! Avoid at all costs, ordered bars for delivery, paid extra for 1-2 days tracked delivery. 4 days in no sign, finally managed to get the tracking number to find out the bars aren't even in the country yet. Funny thing is the standard delivery is 2-3 days and they haven't even done that!

Absolutely shocking customer service could not get a response from them when I ordered a paddle board which never turned up. Still struggling to get my money back from them through my bank! Avoid at all costs!

It took my money and never sent me the item, nor did it refund me. I complained against this company; it's a big scam. Avoid it.

This is a SCAM business, please avoid it. I got my money back via my bank.

Warning do not order anything from this company. They won't send your order they won't reply to emails and their contact number doesn't work.

Avoid at all costs! Placed an order for 'in stock' roof racks on Friday 25th April and paid for express delivery. Nothing arrived early the following week so I attempted to contact them. Neither phone number on their website works, so I emailed on 30Apr. I also filled in an online form chasing order. Got an email reply from 'MicksGarage' saying they would email 'An Post' and get back to me. Today 06May no response and still no order. Am not confident this will ever turn up - it hasnt even been dispatched. Only saving grace is I paid using Paypal so will now seek a refund through them. Avoid this company. I wish I had read these reviews before purchasing and saved myself this headache.
