Because for some reason you have created the policy in my wife's name (Nadia)- none of her details were included on the application and she is not travelling with me when I require the policy - and I then hear it will take you 5 days to address the issue!

Seems impossible to cancel auto renew
I had an email saying it was going to auto renew. So i completed an online form saying I didn't want to auto renew. A few days later I get another email saying mu policy has renewed. I filled another online form in saying I wanted to cancel. I also tried the live chat but if you tick the cancel box it just redirects to the online form. Apparently they want you to open an online account to cancel, which I didn't want to do but did it anyway. And I still couldn't cancel. So i can find no way of cancelling the new policy or the auto renew. I can't find a phone number to speak to someone either.

Good cover at a reasonable price BUT be careful of their default auto-renewal and even worse their 'remove auto-renewal' interface is both difficult and uncommunicative.

It all went through smoothly - although Auto-Renewed a week before the start of the policy, while i was still evaluating if I needed to renew.

We're pleased to hear that the renewal process was straightforward. We send renewal invitations in advance to the email address we hold on file, confirming the renewal date, premium and that the policy is set to renew automatically.
The invitation also explains that we will attempt to collect payment 7 days before the renewal date, giving customers time to review their cover and make any changes if needed.

Price-gouged by 25% on an auto-renewal we didn't know we had. Eversure refused to price match the new quote price when confronted with their commercial cheekery. Hope their insurance cover is better than their customer service.

Replying to Eversure below - price increased by 25.5% over last year with the auto-renew, and 15.3% more than a new quote. Extremely unhappy about this. Eversure refused to refund the difference when asked. Cover identical in all three cases.

As someone who will always compare quotes for third party car hire excess insurance, and never pay the car rental companies the massive premium they charge for their own equivalent, I have over the years seen Eversure consistently coming out on top in terms of product and price.
