An incredibly helpful, thought provoking and supportive career coaching course.

I undertook the Careershifters 12 week course in 2021. In my late 40s I was at a crossroads in my career feeling lost and not sure sure of how to move forward.

This course was instrumental in my ultimately finding a completely new career in a totally different industry (two year after completing the course). The community of fellow ‘shifters’ is very supportive and again made a big difference in helping me to figure out what it was I actually wanted to do and start to make small steps which essentially culminated in a successful career change.

I highly recommend the Launchpad to anyone who is feeling stuck in the current job/profession. You will learn so much about yourself!

I had an amazing experience with the launchpad and would highly recommend to anyone who is stuck! As someone who worked in finance and was terribly stuck for 13 years it was so inspiring and gave me hope that I could make a shift. It was a necessary light during a very dark time for me.

The videos and exercises were fun and the community and alumni stellar. So cheap compared to career coaching and yes “don’t do it alone”. It takes longer than the course time to shift and so having access to the materials and momentum calls is INTEGRAL. It took me a good year or two after I took the course to make big changes but I now see that my current career touches on so many of the ‘lightbulbs’ I collected during the course.

The LaunchPad blew me away. It was a million miles from everything I knew/thought about changing career and helped me to see things in a whole new light. It provided a fantastic grounding in which to come back to myself and really remember who I am and what I want out of my life. The tutors were brilliant and the community of the group helped make the process feel fun and supported. There are learnings I took away from the course that I still apply to my life years later.

I recently attended an Online Career Change Workshop with Careershifters. I went in with a lot of worries, including leaving my current industry without knowing what I really want to do for a living. A lot of information and strategies were provided and helped me form a more solid plan in my head. Also knowing I can dip into articles detailing successful career changes is really useful and reassuring.

Careershifters offer invaluable support, guidance and advice for anyone considering career change. Workshops and coaching provide a tried and tested structure for considering options, taking action, holding yourself accountable and asking yourself the right questions. The huge alumni network of like- minded people provides peer support and inspiration regardless of where you are on your journey. And a huge library of articles and success stories keep you on track and excited by the possibilities. Over eight years and several shifts since I took my first Careershifters workshop, I can honestly say I am still reaping the rewards. Money very well spent!

I took part in the Careershifters Launchpad in early 2025 at a time when I was feeling extremely down and despondent about my career. I was very unhappy and decided to just take a chance on a 1-off workshop and then later the Launchpad.

The experience for me has been genuinely transformational. A year later, I run my own small business and am much, much happier. The 12 months in-between were hard work and Careershifters supported me through the entire process. It's extraordinary to realise that developing a new way of looking at my career path could have such as marked impact on my happiness.

If you're considering the Launchpad or one of the workshops, I'd really just go for it if you possibly can. Personally it provided me with a combination of tools, support and guidance that enabled me to move beyond 'well and truly stuck' into a totally different career direction. I'm very grateful for that and thank the team for being brilliant at what they do!

I recently attended the Careershifters Online Career Change Workshop after finding their website via Google. I read some articles on their website and signed up for their newsletter, and after feeling like their content resonated for me, took the plunge on the paid event. I quite enjoyed the workshop - attendees were very engaged. I was afraid it would be a bunch of off camera folks just listening quietly, but people were vulnerable and honest. Very refreshing. It felt like a safe space. I learned that I'm not alone in how I'm feeling and took away some action items that don't feel too overwhelming. I'm glad I took the time to attend.

At a deadlock mentally I discovered career shifters after a trawl online. Not having heard of them previously I was a little sceptical. I read through their website testimonials and I started to see similarities with how I felt. I took the plunge to attend their paid workshop which wasn’t overly expensive even if only to help provide clarity. I’m so glad that I did….
The workshop helped me primarily in a few ways;
1 - I found that I was not alone with my feelings of being stuck and uncertain of what to do next
2 - I found clarity in my thoughts of next steps
3 - I became a little more certain of testing new ideas.”
I look forwards to putting into practice what I learnt on the session and feel much clearer as a result.

The workshop I attended provided a tangible framework for how to approach changing my career. And made me realise I’m not the only person going through this

The Careershifters workshop I participated in exceeded my expectations. It was really helpful and gave me hope! We were talked through why looking to change careers can be hard and we heard from others in the room with their experiences which helped to know we weren't alone. We then moved onto career mapping which gave us clear advice and small actions and steps that we can take to help decide what we'd like to do with our future. Instead of feeling frustrated and worried, I actually now feel excited for the future of my work world, it will take time to explore my options but this workshop helped remind me there is joy in the exploration and it is worth doing to lead to a role that is much more aligned with me and who I really am. Thank you Careershifters, I would highly recommend this if you are feeling stuck - you won't regret it!

It gave me clarity on the actionable steps I can take to get me to where I want to with my career. It also provided the motivation to do so!
