Capital One Honors Their Fine Print
We recently went on vacation and as a part of our Capital One Venture Card, a listed benefit includes a reimbursement of damage done to a rental car IF the car is rented with a Capital One Card and if the rental car coverage is declined. We chose to give this benefit a try. Unfortunately, our windshield was broken by a rock on our return home. After submission of the documents to prove the claim, Capital One honored their commitment and reimbursed us for the cost of the incident in an extremely timely manner. We are thankful.

My claim was processed quickly and with no "surprises." The reimbursement was made in full. The process for submitting documentation through their website worked just fine. Overall the process was simple and straightforward. The only glitch I ran into was when I was given the option of setting up a means to receive the reimbursement electronically rather than via a paper check - that feature seemed to not work (at least it didn't work for me...) but that was not a big deal

My adjuster, Elizabeth, was a great help. She kept me informed throughout the process. We had a big problem getting receipts from Hertz for reimbursement. She took it upon herself to personally contact Hertz and try to get the receipt because they were stonewalling me. Eventually, Hertz refused to give the receipt in Capital One still paid out the claim, even though we couldn’t get the original receipt from the tow company. It took a while, but Elizabeth did a great job.

I thought the representatives that I spoke with were extrememly kind and knowledgable. They get 5 stars from me. I think the document up-loader does not work at all so everything was on hold for a period of time, because I didnt realize it wasn't working. I had to email all my documents in.

Card Benefit Services exceeded my expectations by negotiating the final settlement down on my behalf and also by paying my insurance deductible as part of the claim. Absolutely zero money came out of my pocket and I would highly recommend having this service.

I would not say it exceeded my expectations but rather was consistent with them. The required additional documentation took 4 rounds, but it should have been a maximum of 1 or 2 as my file originally submitted was quite comprehensive. The phone calls were largely irrelevant as they do not address the persons in charge of your file and every time a different person was answering the phone call. Finally, the whole process took longer than 2 months, but it could have been shorter. All in all, glad it went well and I appreciate it, but it could have been a bit better.

I had bad experience with copa airlines my luggage arrived with a hole at the destination airport besides cancellation flight and route changed. But eclaimsline was courteous and carefully gave attention to the case and I received the benefit which so far copa airlines refuse to refund anything !
