I booked transport from Bangkok to Koh Phayam. Unfortunately, even though the destination on the ticket was „Phayam“, my ticket didn’t include the ferry ticket. In the end I needed to pay extra and wait one hour longer than suggested on the trip online.
The bus was fine, hence two stars.

The lunch break lasted only 20 minutes. Nowhere I could find the information about the arrival time. The bus however was in good conditions. Therefore, 2 stars.
My bus left without me as it "was already full"
Booked ticket for 03.01.2026, the bus from Surat Thani meant to be at 5.50.
Booked 2 months in advance, has chosen the seat.
On 3rd came out of train, found the bus stop. At 5.50 there was no bus.
We kept on waiting till 6.30, as the man who sells tickets there told it would be the 1st bus.
6.50 - still no bus. Nice Thai girl (passenger) translated to everyone that the "6.30 bus was full, so it went forward and we have to wait for the next bus" (with no guarantee it won't be full too).
What was the point of buying ticket in advance, of noone cares I have booked a seat there?
Around 7am a big bus came - and it was really FULL. People were sitting even on the floor.
Few local people got in, so I just rushed after them - it would be too much to spend more hours waiting.
Got a small space literally on the floor in the end of the bus and was ready to pay again for the ticket, just not to wait any longer.
The guy working in the bus was checking my ticket many times, called someone, but let me stay. Still don't know if that was my bus or not, but I reached Phuket after 5 hours.
Next time I will book the ticket on another website, as this experience was not nice at all.
GRASSLAND COACH SUX BIG TIME
I had my first and last experience with Grassland Coach travelling from KL to Singapore, and it was a nightmare. First, they changed my departure time from 3:30pm to 4:00pm and moved the pick-up point from Berjaya Times Square to TBS. At 4:00pm, they called to say the bus had met with an accident, and we had to wait until 7:00pm for another bus from Malacca. The replacement bus no. PMR 6688 only arrived at 7:45pm.
The journey was fine until JB customs, where the driver was extremely rude. Instead of guiding passengers properly, the driver scolded us with vulgarities (CB) when we mistakenly waited at the wrong spot and we did apologised. We confronted the driver after he scolded us with vulgarties as it's an insult to us! This behaviour is completely unacceptable and unprofessional!!
Delays, poor communication, and disrespectful treatment – I will never use Grassland Coach again and strongly advise others to avoid them.

I had a very poor experience with BusOnlineTicket, both in terms of the trip itself and how the complaint was handled.
The bus was advertised on their platform as having cocoon seats, TV, and toilet. We paid a higher fare specifically because the bus included individual seat monitors, which were important for our children during a 5–6 hour journey. Unfortunately, the seat monitors did not work at all throughout the trip.
Additionally, the bus was scheduled to depart at 7:05 am but only left close to 9:30 am. No proper explanation or timely updates were provided, and the delay caused further inconvenience upon arrival.
When I raised this with BusOnlineTicket, they refused any compensation or partial refund, claiming the operator said it was not applicable. As the booking platform, they took no responsibility for ensuring advertised features were delivered and simply closed the case.
This experience showed poor service recovery, weak customer advocacy, and disappointing management. I would not use this platform again and would advise others to be cautious.

They get two stars since they helped me get a refund for the ticket. But they also lied to me in mail and falsely told me that the bus they changed to had similar amenities when it didnt at all. I would not have booked with them again.

It was took more than 10 hours from KL TO SG, Traffic was smooth, and it's only one Toilet and Meal Break at Yong Peng, and only allow for twenty minutes.

We arrived late with transferbus to busstation because pickup was delayed.
We got busticket but not any boarding card, and we had to pay extra for it at busstation. The driver didn’t drive to Kl central as planed, as Booking on net and on the ticket. We had to go off at Huntian Duta instead.
No explanition from driver. The company didn’t answer when I asked afterwards by Mail. The driver drove good the hole Journey. It was rain a long time and much trafic.
Conclusion: bad information before the Journey. And no respons from administration why the timetabel changes .It is difficult as a tourist, you don’t know the Town or where the busstations is placed. You have planed the Journey by the timetabel.

This company doesn't even know how the bus companies they work with operate.
The booking did not have clear instructions on requirements and ticket obtaining which costs us the entire trip.
No refund was offered either. Disaster of a company. Avoid at all cost.

Booked Eltabina Express Bus through BusOnlineTicket.com expecting a direct service, but the bus stopped at Seremban, Yong Peng, and Skudai before reaching Larkin Sentral. A 4-hour journey became 6 hours! Please ensure accurate service descriptions — if it’s not truly direct, don’t advertise it as one.
👉 If this is what “direct” means, then I’d hate to see what an indirect service looks like!

DO NOT RECOMMEND PURCHASE this coach! Bought tickets for Grassland coach to KL to catch our concert at 8pm under BOT website. Bear in mind, SG > KL take at most 5hrs even with traffic. But to our biggest shock we reached KL at 10pm.. And of course, we missed our concert.
11am was supposed to be the departure time , but we only reached Yong Peng at 3.30pm... WOW shocked that it took such a long time considering there was no traffic peak. The bus driver keeps dilly dally , take 2 pit stop breaks for like 40 mins. And speed limit was barely 90km/hr.
No doubt driver is safe, but at least update your website that it will take 12 hours to arrive KL ?! BOT and Grassland you are disgrace.
My Experience on booking with Busonlineticket
I booked tickets from Genting Highlands to Singapore with BusOnlineTicket, carefully selecting seats in the middle of the bus so my elderly mother (who suffers from car sickness) could travel comfortably. Imagine my surprise when, without any notice, our seats were “magically rearranged” to the very back of the bus. Unsurprisingly, this made her journey far more uncomfortable than it needed to be.
When I questioned it, the explanation was that another customer had “reserved” my seats first, so the system automatically bumped us elsewhere. Later, when that booking wasn’t completed, the seats became available again — though of course, we weren’t moved back. The response I received was that their Terms & Conditions allow them to reshuffle seats without telling customers. How reassuring.
To make matters worse, the bus was completely full, so even if we wanted to switch with someone else, it simply wasn’t possible. We were stuck at the very back for the entire long ride.
So here’s the reality: when you book with BusOnlineTicket, your chosen seats are more of a suggestion than a guarantee. You may end up wherever the system decides to dump you, and if that causes inconvenience or discomfort — well, too bad.
This was my first booking with BusOnlineTicket, and it will also be my last. If you value transparency, reliability, and basic consideration for customers, I strongly recommend booking elsewhere. Don’t make the same mistake I did.
Distrustful service.
Takes 6h to arrive at destination instead of the 2H55Min publicised when buying ticket. Many pick ups, gas and toilet stop, drop off in between. If you can't make the promise, don't state it. And at the very least take care to announce it so your clients can plan in advance. Very disappointing and feel cheated.

Bus ticket had the wrong address for the bus station. The address was for an office in the wrong place, so made my way to the nearest station. They informed me I couldn’t use the ticket so I purchased another ticket there as delaying would have meant I missed my flight.
I emailed their customer services and asked for a refund due to this reason. They said that they won’t issue a refund as I used another bus provider. I told them that the address was wrong and I could have missed my flight, but they refused to accept this or give me any kind of refund.
HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE WITH BILLION STARS EXPRESS
Saturday 12th July 2025, I had an 8am booking with Billion Stars Express. The pick-up point was Lavender MRT (outside MacDonalds). An unnamed bus arrives at 8.15am and drives around town for about 30mins, picking people from 3 more locations. Takes us to Gantral Mall about 8.45am and we had to transfer to a Billion Stars coach. This coach leaves Gantral Mall at 9.15am. As we cleared the Malaysian immigration, we had to transfer to another Billion Stars coach. It was already about 11am. This coach then leaves around 11.45am. By this time, 3 hours 45mins had already gone by (yes, I agree we lost about 1 hour at the Tuas SG n MY jams, but 3.75 hours of lost time is on BS (you could say billion stars or bulls#@&). I reached my destination Berjaya Times Square at 5pm.......8am coach n I reach KL after 9 hours (yes, there were some jams on the way, which stole about 1 hour), but BS still accounts for 2 – 2.5 hours of wasted time and that’s a lot of time.
Then the return trip on Sunday 6.30pm from Berjaya Times Square to Woodlands. The bus left after about an hour. As ladies, even a mother with a 9months old child was trying to store her luggage and the baby's stroller (while carrying her baby), the driver just stood and watched - never offered help.....AHHH COME ON LA.
Stopped at Larkin and waited there for approximately 2 hours till the bus was filled with more people........OH MY GOD............We reached Woodlands at 3.45am. Folks please never ever book Billion Stars Express..............Eltabina, First Coach, Aero Line are some of the best and reliable.

By far THE ONLY AND MOST UNRELIABLE, UNPROFESSIONAL AND HORRIFIC experience anyone will experience. I have repeatedly had nothing but terrible experiences as there's NO customer service at all. The bus I booked (Billion Stars & LA Holidays) were late on different different occasions beyond a sane comprehension - causing a hold up in travels by hours on end (4 to 10 hours). Despite desperately contacting Busticketonline, Billion Stars & LA Holidays via the bus company contact points, the numbers listed are ENTIRELY useless and not in use. Don't even bother contacting them. NEVER ever buy from BUS ONLINE TICKET as a platform to purchase tickets in hope that you would get to your destination reliably via any of the Bus operators listed in it except for First Coach which you can purchase directly off their own website creating your account there separately. First coach is delivers as per their promise only from point to point; and not multiple points with no proper communication, transparency or proper updates. First coach is very decent and reliable 💯 - infact First Coach should think of increasing their fleet size for more scheduled trips for all their separate routes to benefit more passengers/ customers. BUT Never depend on Busticketonkine. As for the other operators listed on Busticketonline, NEVER USE Billion Stars & LA Holidays for sure. The rest are probably the same as well with multiple stops and terrible delays including shifting of busses upon boarding with major confusions and unreliability. The bus I was on was an old junk, massively delayed, with baggage’s requiring to be stored high up in the baggage compartment (if you get a double deck), smells of cigarettes and the drivers are very rude, uneducated in behaviour, disrespectful and absolutely unhelpful to assist with baggage. They aren’t apologise for the delays and mishaps to engage the passengers properly - very thick skinned with poker face attitudes. On the delays when a reschedule and cancelation needs to be done, they don’t apologise for it and the system purposely closes to not enable a proper refund or rescheduling and only causes passenger to incur 3/4 losses on the cost of the whole ticket as per what I experienced! Absolute cheaters and Cut - throats as well. The government ought to revoke their license to operate and terminate their services to a complete BLACKLIST. This can cause Malaysia & Singapore a terrible reputation to be entertaining such services and operators to operate.

Is the call centre operated by robots? My back and fro trip to Genting was downgraded, I was given notice only for my trip to Genting.
When I was heading back to Singapore then I knew my trip back will also be downgraded.
As such I wrote to BOT stating that my trip back was downgraded and if there will be a partial refund. However this BOT, all they can reply is "We only received instructions to refund for trip from XX to XX (my return trip is not part of the date range)".
I followed up again 2 weeks later and they have the cheeks to reply me that they already informed me that they only received the instruction to refund for the affected trip.
Hello??? Then shouldn't due diligence be done on your end to at least check with the bus operator on my query? If I booked on your platform and you're not checking, who am I supposed to check with???? If I should bring it to the bus operator, at least tell me?
So with the reply, what are you implying? That I am delulu with the downgrade for my return trip? That it actually never happened since the bus operator did not inform and you refuse to check?
If I knew the amount of negative reviews all related to refunds this company has, I would never book!

Shambles! So BusOnlineTicket sell you a bus ticket from Lumut to Kuala Lumpur and tell you to ‘c heck in’ 1 hour before departure. They do not give you any contact details for the bus company but they do have YOUR email address and WhatsApp number. So, you get to the bus station an hour before departure and the staff there tell you what platform to wait at. 2 hours later, bus being an hour late, another driver tells you that the station is closed to all buses except school buses for a school event. Stress levels at defcon 1, you have to take a taxi to another bus station and buy another ticket for your destination. BusOnlineTicket company should not be selling tickets for a station that is effective closed and a bus service that does not exist. They made no attempt to communicate this. I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. Shambles.
