I am not a business customer, but I always feel very welcomed. From the lady on the phone to the store staff both at the counter and the item handling. Needless to say, they are very efficient. I feel very lucky to live nearby the store.

I have written this as I receive constant automatic reminders to do so although it might be better for them if I hadn’t.
I ordered 16 metres of 100 x 20 planed softwood, a fence repair post, roofing bolts and a bag of mortar. I did this Thursday online and was advised 3 days. On Saturday (the delivery day) I was rung up and advised I wasn’t getting my order as they didn’t have any timber and had no idea when they would have it. I needed this in a hurry so cancelled the order and placed my order with someone else. I paid by paypal and was informed I would be refunded. A week later I still had not been refunded and rang their office who informed me I had been refunded but she would check and get the accounts department to ring me. They did not ring me but miraculously the money appeared the next day.
In summary not impressed. The online order system should not take an order if there is zero stock (although it is more likely my timber went to a bigger customer), I should have been told immediately so not to have wasted 3 days and the money should have been refunded promptly and not over a week later with me having to chase. The accounts department should have had the courtesy to ring me and not quickly send the money when they realised they hadn’t done it and metaphorically hidden under the desk. Finally I shouldn’t receive emails reminding me to review an order that was not fulfilled. Won’t be ordering anything else.

Good Web site easy to follow. Found what I needed, ordered and paid for goods. Collected another day no trouble there waiting fo me.

I ordered some redwood pine cladding in lengths which turned out not to be readily available as a result of supply problems caused by the pandemic crisis. Bradfords 'phoned to discuss with me and we agreed that they would supply the cladding in longer lengths instead. The consignment was dispatched promptly and arrived two days later. I actually received more wood than originally ordered at no extra cost to me. So well done Bradfords.
