I booked with this company I have contacted them numerous times by email, their isn’t a contact number to ring them. When I rung one of the numbers on the website it came through as sorry but these calls are barred. I would not recommend this at all. I have lost 46 pound when I could of just booked through DVLA. They should get taken down as it’s not fair on customers. Book through DVLA then you know that you are paying the right amount and arnt going to get conned.

Complete rip off. They charge you double the cost of booking directly with DVLA (£45.99 instead of £23.00) and then send you a time that doesn't match what you requested. The offer free resits, but only if you achieve at least 39 marks out of 50. Steer clear - waste of money. Book direct with the DVLA.

Avoid. They charge you a premium for gov test which you can book directly.

They send you a date that doesn’t suit and then ignore communications when you try to obtain a time that actually suits.

They don’t respond to communications

My 17 year old daughter booked her theory test at double the price thinking this was the genuine DVLA site. We emailed for a refund several times without ever getting a reply. There is also no telephone number to call either.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Absolute scam, came up at the top of google search because it’s an advert not the top site which is the official government site. £45.99 which is double the normal amount and no email for confirmation, need to find out if this ever gets taken down

Took my money but gave no test date. No number to call. Didn’t reply to email or web query. When I logged in it asked me to pay again! Do not use, it’s a scam!!!

My wife booked a theory test for our daughter what she thought was through a genuine driving theory test site paid £46. As these sites are always at top of Google and they pay to advertise there.
The phone number they give to check doesn’t accept incoming calls. Total con.
When she told myself I checked and explained to her these are not genuine sites.They will booked the initial theory test but that’s it you won’t get the retests they will always make an excuse not to give them.
These sites should be shut down by Watchdog,Trading Standards or someone needs to stop them.
Google needs to also check the companies that are paying to advertise its services.
There are at least 4 of these websites that are all bad. Probably a lot more.

PLEASE ONLY use the genuine government driving theory test site currently costs £23 on the official gov.uk website.

BEWARE - this site signposts and provides links to DVLA, DVSA and GOV.UK. Has obviously influenced Google search to appear above the official site for booking theory tests.
Young people are being taken in by this in their enthusiasm to book their theory tests: unsavoury ethics but it is what it is...
Take screen shots - the credit card company will be able to do something if the consumer is NOT presented with a quantity before submission of payment.
My credit card company suggested sending screen shots to the DVLA too so as to raise awareness.

My son naively thought this was the official site as it was the first link to pop up in google. Realising his mistake after payment of £45.99, we contacted the bank to stop payment, it can't be stopped, but can be disputed as we've had no communication from the company, even when asking for a refund, which we're entitled to do looking at their t&cs because nothing has been booked. If no service has been provided, you can get your money back! Their address is permanently closed, no contact numbers or email address. I've contacted google and trading standards to get these sites closed down...they're targeting the young and those where English isn't their 1st language. It's easy booking a test on the official Gov.uk site for only £23 and you can book your date there and then, no waiting around.

Website states that if you fail you can have a free retest. WRONG Very misleading as your have to score over 38/50 to qualify. Website look good but the t&c are not clear

As this was Ad generated by Google I thought it could be trusted. There is no contact number at all to call. They are not getting back to me about an appointment. AVOID!

As already stated - SCAM site. Wife made the booking (Naive of me - didnt think she would be sucked in by this outfit based on a 'Paid for' Google advert). What SHOULD have been the BIG warning was that they dont tell you the date of the test immediately. (i.e. I came home and she said they would get back to us in 48 hours which was Odd - But possible as daughter is ASD and requires special ocnsideration). Only found out exactly what she had done when I tried to use what I THOUGHT would be the balance on the gift card and it was declined!

I think it very unlikely that we will get the test that we have booked and paid for (why would they? - They have our money and clearly dont care about customer ratings)

Definitely a scam, avoid and book through the official government site. Trying to reclaim money but without any success.

Booked a theory test via booktheorytesttoday, and instantly realised it's a scam when it charged me £46 (DOUBLE the rate if you book at gov.uk). Tried to cancel my contract straight away, but they have no phone number or email address and did not reply to any of the numerous messages I left via their "contact us" page. I think this contravenes the distance selling regulations. To make things even worse, they booked the test at the WRONG test centre, and sent an incorrect driver's number and email address to the test centre to make it really hard for me to contact the centre direct.

SCAM. Son booked and paid double what the government web site charges. Small print states admin fee not refunded if refund requested!!
These sort of scammers should be outlawed!!

Booked with them and wasnt told the price i thought it would come on the last page then it said i had paid once i entered my details i checked my bank and it was 46 pound after emailed them requesting a refund i havent heard anything back and cannot find contact information

for £45.99 She has been trying to cancel the test because she realised she can book through gov.uk at a cheaper rate. She has emailed them several times but they refuse to reply to her emails. . There is no telephone numbers. Don't book with booktheorytesttoday , they area scam company. My daughter called DVLA and they advised they are aware of the company. Can someone advise on what to do?
