BlueShrimps is a UK-based shrimp keeper and small breeder focused on Neocaridina shrimp and simple, stable aquarium setups that actually work in real homes. All of our shrimp are bred and raised in our own tanks, not imported or mass-produced. We prioritise healthy stock, stable water parameters, and natural tank conditions over chasing extreme “show” colours. The goal is hardy, active shrimp that adapt well to typical UK tap water and home aquariums. We believe shrimp keeping doesn’t need to be complicated. Our setups are intentionally low-stress and low-tech, built around mature tanks, plenty of biofilm, natural foods like leaf litter, and consistent care rather than constant tinkering. This approach produces healthier shrimp and more stable colonies over time. Alongside selling shrimp, we also share practical guides and advice based on our own experience — covering topics like feeding, acclimation, breeding, and common beginner mistakes. Everything we recommend is something we actively use ourselves. BlueShrimps is run by a real hobbyist, not a faceless business. I bought 20 high grade blue shrimp and was very pleased with them.So I ordered 20 more.Everything was great with the service and delivery but most importantly they all arrived safe and sound. I would recommend them to everyone who are going to buy blue shrimp.
Great communication, fast delivery and cheaper than everywhere else. I only got the lower grade shrimp however they look better than most I've seen in the shop!
