I am very satisfied with Birkdale. The fitters Blaine and Liam fitted my roller garage door with little fuss and I am delighted with it. I would recommend them to anyone.

Excellent service I am very happy with my new door and garage door, the fitters Hayden and Anthony did an excellent job and the head office team were also very helpful would def recommend this Company 5 stars from me !!

Extremely poor service, The awning took 4 months to arrive, they asked for detailed pictures of the site and brought a wrong bracket for the instalation and hence a new date had to be arranged. On the day they did not have the end bracket and promised a replacement only to be told later that i have to do with some hotch potch replacement with out sending any pictures of how it would look like. The bracket placed was poor cosmetic appearance with black back ground and silver steel bolts, no attention to detail around asthetics. The electricity connection was put onto the wrong side. Overall will not use them again

Courteous response to the issue over the phone but no phone call on the day to advise ETA however the issue was fixed and hopefully will not happen again.

Good product but let down by workmanship. In my opinion it has been left in a pretty shoddy state.

2 pleasant lads arrived as promised took off garage door sensor and replaced with new and they were gone onto their next job.

An excellent experience from initial survey all the way through to final installation. The company communication was first class as they kept me informed throughout the whole process.
And the door looks great!

Birdale in responce to your reply, let get the facts right.
Starting from the beginning.firstly after i paid in full and heard nothing for weeks on end and had to keep calling to find out what was happening, when your fitters turned up they had no trim on the van and the gararge door frame was white insted of mahogony, your fitters and myself rang your office numerous times that morning but no answer as your all working from home, your fitters stated that they could take the frame away but it would be at least 4weeks before they could come back as they were flat out buisy,i was not prepared to leave my mums house who is 81 with no garage door on for 4weeks as the contents would not be safe so I THE CUSTOMER had to make a desision as nobody can get hold of birkdale on the phone, i said for the fitters to install the white frame and i would go out and get some mahogony trim to go over it i was also having a side door fitted and there was no trim for that either and there was a 5inch gap at the top of the door once they had installed so i had to go and get trim for that as well, so i spent all day trying varous places to get trim which i did at a cost of £120. i fitted a small amount of trim on the side door and then went back out to get YOUR FITTERS a tool for there drill as they had broken theres, they fitted the doors and left. i had spent my day runnung around getting trim,i am still going to have to fit it myself and do the masticing myself, your office called me 2 days later after speaking to your fitters upon which i said i wanted £1000 refund for trim,time i spent driving around getting it,inconvenience, and for side door that had a 5inch gap, i was told by your office on email i was totally unresonable which i bit on and said i would rip the lot down and throw it through your reception in frustration, at no time what so ever did i threaten your staff it was a reaction to an accounts manager telling me i am unreasonable and belittling me the customer, i was then told you were voiding my warrenty as i had fitted some trim to the side door and you would only offer me £400 refund like it or leave it and it was going to be the last conversation you were having with me, i then contacted costco as i paid the deposit through them, they contacted Birkdale and you said you would not reimburse me for the trim i paid for, i said i wanted the job completed to costco, you said you would come and complete the job but only if you could use the trim i brought (the trim you would not pay for) in the end costco rembursed me for the trim even though it was not there error and you gave me £400 refund it was only through costco that i got things resolved. maybe if someone had answered a call at the start by me or your fitters, or you had the right trim on the van, or you had the right colour frame or you dealt with it right when they were your mistakes then none of this would have happened, birkdales customer service was zero hence i was dealing with an accounts manager and no one from customer service, the whole experiance was a complete nightmare from start to finish if i had not had a berievment in the family i would have put a solicitor on it out of principle regardless of cost and gone to court but didnt have the head space and just needed to get it sorted. if any of the above is not true then please take me to court for defamation. as i stated the worst experiance ive had in my life with a company

I would definitely recommend this company.
I found Birkdale by chance on Facebook and never heard of them before.
I had 3 other quotes for a double garage roller one was the same price but the extra effort and professionalism they showed made it an easy choice.
Each team I had contact with were very friendly, professional and supportive.
From sales to the fitting team they we’re really good and provided updates and got in touch regularly to explain each step of the install.

I had quotes from about 6 companies for a new roller door. I decided to go with Birkdale as they offered a huge range of colors, were ok on price & were professional. The fitters went above & beyond & the customer service team kept me informed every step of the way. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them.

We have just had an awning fitted by Birkdale, which was ordered through Costco. We are delighted with the product and with the service from both the office and installation team.
We had a slight problem at the start, with some missing emails, but this was quickly remedied and even the MD apologised and ensured things were sorted. Although the issue was only minor, the way they handled it gave me great confidence in Birkdale.
Thanks to everyone and I am happy to recommend both the product (electric awning) and the team.

Excellent service throughout, very pleased

Having had a roller garage door installed in several years ago and it was not right from the word go bearing in mind the installers were contractors who openly admitted they didn't know much about installation but assured me it would be o/k. This wasn't the case it clanked and banged dare not use it at night because of noise complaints. Then the curtain hangers broke not once but several times. These were replaced once under warranty and at least four times after by myself. Then the day of all disasters came as the door failed to stop and kept going chucking the shutter into the garage damaging it to a point where it was beyond repair. I managed to put the bits back and secure the door against intruders. This was a very difficult time as I was a full time carer for my wife and she had just died from COVID-19 the door needed fixing and after considering my options I contacted Birkdale and spoke with Simon Sturman & Phoenix Peel who were very helpful. The outcome was that as my door was not repairable a new curtain and necessary fitting were to be supplied at a very reasonable price. The fitting day was agreed and two extremely fitters turned up and they worked from mid afternoon till 9pm non stop for which I could not thank them enough it's unusual to find such dedication and attention to detail. The door is so quiet and the finish top spec I am very very much pleased. Thanks to all at Birkdale and their fitters.

What a fantastic service from start to finish. Chris visited us twice to do the survey and was so informative and efficient. The company phoned with installation date and the fitters duly arrived as planned. Hayden and Gary did a superb job. They were professional, efficient and explained everything. The two garage doors are superb and we are absolutely thrilled with both the product and the service. Thank you all so much.

Two sectional garage door fitted to replaced wooden up and over ones. Excellent service from Birkdale from beginning to end. The doors appear to be a quality product. Fitters Ryan and Sol arrived on time on the planned day and were courteous and professional. They explained and demonstrated the working of the doors and cleaned up and disposed of old doors.
I am extremely happy with the new doors and thank Birkdale for a job well done.
I will follow up with a further review when the doors have been operating for some time.

This is a company you want to avoid, I would not recommend it to anyone at all. The worse customer service and aftercare you would expect from a well established company.
We had our ordered 2 front doors and an electric garage door, they said it will be fitted same day, however the garage door was fitted 1 month before the doors. And on the day they fitted the front door, the fitter said the door they ordered was different to my original door so therefore they had to break a bit of my ceilings and lifted the door up 35mm and they said they haven’t got the right fitting kit due to the instructions they had from birkdale so that’s the best they could do, And told us to speak to birkdale.
Our front was left with big gap and the insider was left with gaps all around the door , from top to bottom and left to right.

I have contacted birkdale with anonymous amount of emails going back and forth, all they ever said to me was we signed the paper work” which we was mislead to sign as the subcontractor told us we need to sign before they can go to fit out next door, and they haven’t got the right fitting kit to finish this door so we just need to contact birkdale” but birkdale just said because we have sign the paper, which means the job is completed so it finished. They won’t do anything about it.

When I have paid so much to get the door changed to like to like, I would except like to like, not having to speeds another £700 to complete what they haven’t completed as a fitter and supplier company. I would avoid this company if you are thinking to order from them, if you have any problems with your order, they don’t care once they had their money.
