After we ordered our king-size Miranda…

After we ordered our king-size Miranda extra wide sides bed We was concerned after having no bed delivered or any communication after the 10 days. I sent an email for an update and had a response sent the following day to say the bed will be delivered the following week. So a little disappointing we didn't get the bed in the time frame but it is so worth the wait.

We are so happy with our new bed the quality is lovely and it looks amazing. Will definitely be ordering our new bed for our spare room form Bed Universe.
Would definitely recommend this company.

Delayed Order

After reading all the positive reviews about this company, we decided to place an order for a £650 double bed. We chose the company over against others online due to them advertising delivery within 5 - 10 days. Our order was placed online on 27/03/2025 but have still not received it. We have chased it up twice now and have been told that it is awaiting collection by the courier - no commitment as to when we will receive it. With Easter now approaching, when are we likely to receive it?

luxury 5* hotel bed

At the beginning I ordered the wrong fabric. I contacted the company and immediately they fixed the problem. Very formal and very trustworthy company.
The bed is gorgeous and it looks much more expensive than it is.
My new bedroom looks now like a 5* hotel room!

Excellent Quality and Service!

I recently purchased a bed for my son from Bed Universe, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience! The bed is of excellent quality, sturdy, and exactly as described. My son absolutely loves it! The ordering process was smooth, and delivery was prompt. Customer service was also very helpful in answering my questions. I highly recommend Bed Universe to anyone looking for high-quality beds and great service.

beduniverse you promise so much yet fail to deliver.
So what are they good at, getting samples of fabric trying to outlay an excellent service. Website quotes 5 to 10 days and at no point was it mentioned that it would differ. 4 weeks later a delivery date is booked with time taken off work to accept delivery as they state if you are not in they will charge you £30, we received a message stating at 11.30am on the booked delivery day that our delivery was not going to happen because of technical difficulties.
You will find that making contact with them is rather difficult after you have placed and paid for your bed and you will be doing all the chasing for answers.
The bed was delivered a week later although they tried to book for 2 weeks which is not acceptable, Headboard incorrect as they had taken upon themselves to manufacture in two parts which is what was not asked for plus to make things even worse the fixings holes for the bed frame did not match and was later told to make our own.
Spend your time and money elsewhere
This is not a fake review as stated by beduniverse they seem to take it upon themselves to use this reply quite often could be automated. Here is there email stating non delivery
I am writing to inform you that your delivery will not be going ahead today as planned due to unexpected circumstances.

We understand that is both inconvenient and disappointing and are working to get things back on track as soon as possible.

Rest assured, your items are safe and we will get in touch with you with a new delivery date.

Unprofessional shambles of a ‘company’

Ordered my bed with 7-10 working day delivery. The bed was not ready the company failed to contact me, I had to contact them to then be told it would still be weeks so my 7-10 days went to over a month. I was moving house and needed the bed for the day of moving which the original time scale fitted. I gave them my new address and they still went and had it delivered to the wrong address causing very unhappy people to have two men with a bed in their garden! Luckily the courier agreed to deliver to my actual address. I made the company aware due to to my disability I couldn’t be without a bed so that incurred extra costs to myself to have a bed until this shambles of a company could follow through , I made them aware I would then have to pay yet again to have someone out to get the bed in and built - which previously would’ve been included in my moving day. I was offered a measly 5% refund which is a fob off not a gesture, I further contacted the company twice about this and to this day they still haven’t offered any compensation so what should’ve cost me the price of the bed ended up being over £350 more. The least this company could’ve done was at least compensated towards the extra costs I incurred due to them. Had I of been notified they could not fulfil the ordered I could’ve saved myself a lot of hassle pain and money.

In regards to the rely I took the earliest date you offered you didn’t offer multiple in between and I gave you the address before the bed was dispatched this is all in email trace so why your lying is beyond me

Additionally, by the time we received your address update, the order had already been dispatched with the couriers, so it was delivered to the original address we had on record.

Avoid this company complete joke

Avoid this company they are a complete joke
Waited 6 weeks for a single bed to be delivered , only for it to come built wrong
There was no updates from the company only when id contact them and beg for an update have to contact them via email which takes forever to email you back
But definitely avoid this company as it’s the worst online order I’ve ever made
Only positive they have is that the bed itself is good quality

Extremely pleased with my new bed

Extremely pleased with my new bed. Delivered carefully yesterday in perfect condition. I did order the bed 8 weeks ago, so there was a considerable delay with Christmas/New year in between. Although the bed did take a while to arrive, I kept in touch with customer service via email and they did always reply very quickly with updates.
I did have reservations about ordering due to mixed reviews, however their sleigh bed designs were the nicest I’ve seen online for the price point. I have to say, the quality and finish of the bed is exceptional, and very solid once (easily) built. The images online are a true to the bed delivered, and the parts were very well wrapped and protected. Overall, excellent value for money and very high quality.

Terrible company

Update 15/2 still no delivery, all I have heard since 1st review put on is them asking me to remove it if they give me 5% discount, I said I will once item has arrived but still nothing!!! I would say avoid this company at all costs!!!
Terrible company, placed an order delivery meant to be 5-10days still waiting, which is not the problem happy to wait as long as I know it’s coming, the problem is I have emailed, phoned & dm’d on Instagram with no response, I then left a message on there post in Instagram & which was deleted & ignored!!

Dreamcatcher Chesterfield kids bed

Bought a bed for my daughter who had just turned 2 so we got the bed rails built in and ottoman storage for more storage and we absolutely love it, I was a bit reluctant to buy as I'd not heard much about the company but I'm so glad I did because now she has a lovely little girl bedroom, thank you to the staff to for being so much help x

Took 7 weeks to deliver a single bed


I wouldn’t recommend using this company whatsoever. When my bed wasn’t delivered in the 5-10 working days stated on their website I had to reach out to them for an update on my order for up to 7 weeks. Each time they’d either respond with a poor excuse or completely ignore me. I ended up pleading for a response on their social media but they just deleted those comments to protect their reputation. In the end I requested a refund via Klarna and as soon as they started the process of investigating my case, bed universe dispatched my order in a hurry. At no point did they ever reach out to me with an update with my late order, it was always me contacting them via email and phone. I wouldn’t recommend phoning them either they don’t answer. I wish I did more research prior to making my purchase.

I placed an order at the start of…

I placed an order at the start of December and I am still waiting….. it said 5-10 days delivery. This is for my toddler who is currently sleeping on her mattress on the floor while waiting for this. I have had no contact and no one answers the phone line. Will not be using again

Poor communication but Bed arrived and seems lovely.

Recieved our bed in the middle of storm Darragh, delivery men were polite and quick, even with the awful conditions on the day!
The company themselves, I was at one point sure we had been victim of a scam as their customer service was atrocious. Multiple emails and calls from Friday to Monday lunch time went unanswered when our bed was scheduled to be delivered on the Friday but was not. We did have a response Monday saying this was due to miscommunication and our bed was delivered ASAP that Sunday.
Which credit to them was quicker than their usual policy of re delivery.
Bed itself seems lovely but communication is very poor.

Refunds refused. Products inaccurately described. Delivery timescale 3+ weeks, not 10 days. Incorrect items delivered. Dimensions vary by 18cm! Customer service poor. Reviews may be fake. Do not order

I wish i had read the other recent reviews. Think we've been scammed. I placed an order on the 18th November. Tried to contact the company on the 19th to double check dimensions as realised the space was tighter than I had thought and the bed would only just fit. No one answered the phones. Emailed the company on the 20th requesting clarification on dimensions - told by service agent that there is a 6cm(!) variation in dimensions. 6 emails sent trying to get more clarity on the build and dimensions of the bed - replies take too long, and inadequate information provided. Phone goes to voicemail until today - when I was told I can still cancel the order on the phone, then told I can't on email as it's outside the cancellation window, DESPITE the website stating a 'no questions asked refund'. Then told it's going to be 3 weeks for delivery, not 5-10 days as advertised. False advertising all round. Have asked to have my queries flagged to the ceo, but at this stage i'm not sure if there is one? I will be contacting trading standard to report my experience and will raise a dispute with my card provider if it turns out we have been scammed. Really awful thing to do to people trying to buy a toddler bed. Wish I had read other reviews from 2024 before I put down £725.

UPDATE: Delivery was scheduled for today 13/12 - 25 days after ordering (not 5-10 as promised in all their advertising). I email them this morning as the courier had failed to contact me as expected.. I then receive an email back saying that the bed won't be delivered today because of a 'flat tire' (which should take 30 minutes to resolve). Nothing about this company has been professional or reliable. Their phonelines go to an anonymous voicemail box which no one replies to. The only way to contact them is by email, which takes 4 days to get a response - and all the links in the customer service email signature are dead. Everything suggests that this is a rogue trader or some kind of sham company.

Hoping that the bed shows up tomorrow as promised.. honestly dreading having to take this company to small claims court. Truly awful experience.

UPDATE - January 2025: The bed did eventually arrive. They sent the incorrect head board - it had been manufactured 18cm(!!!) taller than the listed height. Despite about 10 emails back and forth confirming and emphasising the need for the bed to fit in the space required! Forced to contact their AI bot(?) customer service, again. We were told, "oops - we sent you the adult headboard, instead of the toddler one".. Asked for a replacement headboard to be sent out, or to cover the cost of a handyman to change the shelving unit which no longer fits due to their error.. 3 weeks later, still awaiting a resolution. Not hopeful.

Also worth noting to other customers; the links in their customer service email signature are template links, leading to 404 pages, as if someone just set the company up using a template and never bothered to customise any of the contact details. Very dodgy and extremely unprofessional. Additionally the £700 bed we bought from them has not been fully upholstered with fabric on the inside of the frame, as it should have been, and has staples sticking out on the frame which goes around the mattress - we risk cutting our hands everytime we make the bed, pretty dreadful for a child's bed. Absolute nightmare. Wish we'd never ordered from them. Really sad - if they had a decent customer service and simply allowed us to cancel our order and get a refund when it became apparent that the specification and delivery schedule had been falsely advertised we would not be in this mess... or if they had any kind of quality control overseeing the manufacturing of their beds then products would not be delivered with such massive variation in specified dimensions and safety.
