Defo a scam 39.99 pending to come out of my account. Am on with the bank as I write this message
Who the h..
Who the h... is Bebooks? 39.95 for what? This amount appeared on my bank statement and was picked up by my accountant. I far as I'm aware I've had zero contact with these people. The cancel button on their website appears unresponsive. My bank is now and until further notice, treating this as a fraudulent transaction. And issuing a replacement card. Is this another monkey operation?
Total and utter scam
Total Scam. I was conned into a £1 activation to use credit card on another site(Gumtree) There then appeared to be a piggyback site and was then unknowingly subscribed into Bebooks for £39.99. I was only made aware of this when my bank flagged it up as a fradulant transaction. i was able to go on to site and cancel subscription but had to threaten further action to get my refund. Bank says that they have many claims on same company and have now blacklisted for future. Disgusting behaviour....stay well clear
Taking money out my account for what
I was registering on Gum tree and I accidentally clicked on BeBook Space, now they are taking money out my account.
I have just been scammed by Bebooks on…
I have just been scammed by Bebooks on the back of trying to sign up for a Robert Dyas card. I was given a leaflet in store, inviting me to sign up to the card. ...sensible since I buy quite a bit from them. The leaflet had a QR code which said "scan here to join". So I scanned and the journey went through the usual routine, and then asked for £1.00 to join (not unusual because I have a food store card that genuinely used the same routine). When I had finished, the confirmation email didn't come from Robert Dyas, but from Bebooks and saying I had signed up to a seven day trial after which i would be charged a £39.99 subsctiption. I have tried to cancel, but of course that functionality doesn't work. I have emailed Bebooks.yi cancel. I have told Robert Dyas of the occurrence. Next step us cancel my card and get a new one with a new cvc.
The same thing happened to me
The same thing happened to me. Luckily the Nationwide was vigilant and they called me to ask if I wanted to pay £39.99 to the bebooks site. I said definitely not and they will block this and all future payments.
SCAMMER!!!!!!!!!
SCAMMER!!!!!!!!!! I don’t know how they do this, piggy back on to something that you purchased taking £1 then it sets up a subscription to something and before you know it, in my experience £80 is missing from my bank. The bank can’t refund because in their opinion I ok it. Very very annoying.
Bebook.space is definitely a scam
This is definitely a scam. They piggybacked a table booking agent and foolishly I paid the £1 activate my account fee thinking this was necessary to make the booking.
I have tried to cancel my subscription on their website (bebook.space) but when I hit the submit button nothing happens. I have told my bank to stop any future payments requested.
I just wish I had seen everyone else's reviews on this site. Big lesson learned. I do regularly check my account so will quickly spot if they try to take anything more.
Bebooks I think you get to see these reviews. Please take note that I have cancelled any future connection.
BEBOOKS SCAM at Historic Site
I visited a historic site and was advised to scan the QR code to obtain a guide to the site. The application said it would need to pre-charge £1 to my card for verification purposes. The money would not leave my account. It did!
A few days later, bebooks.space tried to take £39.99! Just like all the other One Star reviewers on here. Luckily, I used that card because I keep the card balance low to prevent SCAMS. (Good Advice!)
I contacted the organisers of the site to tell them that scammers are at work on their site, so that they could investigate and take appropriate action.
I feel confident that the organisers of the historic site and all of the other piggybacked Companies providing payment methods are probably innocent and unconnected with this illegal activity.
Bebooks.space is a fraudulent company
This is a fraudulent company. I was following a QR code at a tourist attraction in Denmark, links were piggybacked by bebooks.space. was intending to access photos at the tourist attraction instead unintentionally signed up for a £1 debit and a £39.99 per month subscription. Clicked on the link to unsubscribe immediately. Have reported to credit card company and Action Fraud UK. Beware of this cyberscam
Beebooks Space piggyback a download of…
Beebooks Space piggyback a download of the Ringo parking app. Thinking it was Ringo I was dealing with I allowed the payment £1 to register my card. These crooks later used my card details to withdraw £39.99 from my account. This is a fraudulent company that must noy be allowed to continue swindling people attempting to pay for parking
Ringo is complicit in the fraud
BEWARE BEBOOKS.SPACE
I bought a train ticket using the Trainline App and right at the end of the process an advert for BEBOOKS.SPACE appeared. I ignored it. Two days later I bought another train ticket via the Trainline App and the BEBOOKS.SPACE ad appeared again. This time I read it. It said because I had bought a Trainline ticket, I had automatically been signed up to a 5-day free trial of BEBOOKS.SPACES services. The info said that they would take £39.99 a month from me via direct debit. I still do not know to this day what they actually sell.
I was very annoyed and immediately cancelled my Trainline / BEBOOKS.SPACE Account, and deleted the App. They tried to take £34.99 from my account mid-August, but my bank, Barclays, prevented them from doing so. On 10th September BEBOOKS.SPACE withdrew £3 and £9.99 from my account, unlawfully. Even though I had cancelled my trial within the five days, they still charged me.
Subsequent to this I looked on Trustpilot and saw that thirty or so people had had a similar experience with this highly dubious company. Armed with this extra information from Trustpilot, I spoke with my Bank, Barclays, and they are blocking every and any attempts by BEBOOKS.SPACE to remove money from my account. Please, everyone, any time you see BEBOOKS.SPACE attached to the payment screen of an App, or a Parking Space Payment App, cancel and delete your account immediately, and contact your bank straight away and ask them to BLOCK any direct debit or Standing Order payment requests from BEBOOKS.SPACE. The company appears to be running a very sophisticated cyber crime scam.
Whilst trying to download a parking app…
Whilst trying to download a parking app Bebooks piggypacked off the download and I inadvertently downloaded this app which took £1 and set me up for a completely unwanted subsciption service to then take £39.99 from my account. I received an email regarding my account with log in details, however these log in details do not work with their website, even when tried using multiple browsers. I contacted my bank who advised me to fill out a chargeback form to get the £1 back which I did. My bank are unable to stop Bebooks from attempting to take another amount but if they do I can have this refunded using a chargeback form again. In the meantime i have used the chat facility on BeBooks website and cancelled my subscription that way, i dont know if that will work but will be keeping an eye on my bank statements in future. Have also asked my bank to report this

SCAM..!!
I was ordering an online birthday card and the next thing I see is a £1 deduction from my Bank. By the time I found out what it was about they have taken another £39.99...
I have not accessed the site nor will I.
This MUST be stopped, I have reported to HSBC fraud.
Scam website as others have said
Scam website as others have said, seems to piggy back on other websites and signs you up for a subscription. £1 initially followed by £39.99 monthly. In my case the initial website was yourparkingspace.co.uk, avoid them also if you can.
i have not request nor received any…
i have not request nor received any services from BeBooks.space how was changed £39.99 for Sept and Oct 2023. I have not received any notification of the with drawn from my account. I have tried to compliant however it is impossible to access any real person to talk to. This is a SCAM
It's a scam
It's a scam, pure and simple. I think they got my details when I was trying to register a car parking app. My bank has now put a block on them.
Hijacked an online process - beware of bebooks.space
Was attempting to register a guarantee for a new household appliance from Argos when this organisation seemed to intercept the process.
Was asked for card details & fortunately used a dormant account- HSBC alerted me to a potential scam, blocked the card & transaction.
All good now but beware of the bebooks.space SCAM!
