It is getting more of a selling website for lenders, no real value as it used to be for borrowers
I could not look into the rates without supplying my information and getting follow-up calls from potential lenders, it used to be easier just to look at the mortgage rates without providing contact details.

I was hoping someone could send me information on current rates and monthly payment for the information I entered. I am at work and do not have time to talk to someone on the phone. I will need to refinance $180,000 for 15 year refinance with 800+ credit rating.

A change for the worse
Several years ago, Bankrate.com site was one stop to go to, to see the list of lenders with their competitive rates. I could simply enter the property zipcode answering a couple of question and that's it - I could see a table of rates. Now it is a totally different process, where I need to provide my contact info and one or two lenders will be throwing their sales pitch at me. A complete paradigm change. I don't think i will visit bankrate again.

Couldn’t connect
Couldn’t connect. PIN code promised never received due to wrong phone number. I could change the number on the form. But that would not correct in on the authorization screen. I closed it and started over. Correct number submitted. PIN code never received due redirected to realwstate broker page. Looks like you don’t want to sell mortgages.
