I would have liked to have been…
I would have liked to have been suggested more options from your representatives since they are the ones who know the destination. That would have been done by asking us questions at the outset such as do you want to be in the outskirts or in the centre, do you want to be in modern accommodations or more typical of the azores lifestyle, and been presented with different options.
The fact that we were surrounded by construction sites made it unpleasant sitting outside. Should be avoided.
Overall, when you choose to reserve through an agency, it is because you want to be presented with options, you rely on the knowledge of the area and would like to have options so that you make the best choices for your needs.

My bank held part of first payment then…
My bank held part of first payment then passed the payment a week later. It was for Airfare. Azores getaway could not confirm at their end if my payment went through. I almost paid twice. Very confusing experience.

I've used Azores Getaways a few times. Every trip was outstanding, great hotels and locations. They are very responsive if you need to contact them. I couldn't recommend them higher and only gave 5 stars because 10 stars wasn't an option!

Everyone we dealt with whether it was prompt, professional, and wonderful to deal with
Everyone we dealt with whether it was regarding our booking or hotels and/or the fact that I need a handicap chair for the shower, etc., was all dealt with. Honestly, we cannot think of a single negative thing to say. And I also feel that we were upgraded, especially in FAIAL we had a huge terrace instead of a little balcony off of our room. We are going back to the Azores and will use Azores getaways and have already recommended it to a friend that is serious about visiting the Azores.

My experience in working with the Azores Getaways team was very positive. Adriana, was able to help build an itinerary for me based on an exisitng vacation offering and customize it to include an additonal island visit and a 5 days in the Algarve. Smart, clear, flexible, affordable.
I asked to compare cost and details on 4 star vs 5 star options. Made a few tricky modifications, including a side trip to mainland, and Ines (staff) from AG made the options and associated costs clear - but also affordable. Very much looking forward to this trip.
