Hi Cristina,

I am very sorry to hear about your delays with the order and understand your frustration in this matter. Unfortunately, we did face some fulfilment issues over the past few months due to a combination of factors.
We were so happy to have such an amazing response to our swimwear this year and our made-to-order approach, however, this did come with some issues within our supply chain and the demand from our incredible customers. Our amazing Operations and Supply teams are working everyday to help overcome these issues, which includes both internal and external issues; like worldwide fabric shortages, extended logistics and shipping times, and production timelines.
As you can imagine for a growing company, we are working really hard to continually improve our communication with our Customer Support Network both directly and through Social Media platforms.We’re currently in the process of launching our new up-to-date order overview, which will show you where your made-to-order item(s) are in our production lines! This will hopefully help our customers track their orders and inform them of any production delays that may occur in the future.
Unfortunately, we are not able to find your order number and can only assume that you now have your delivery. That being said, if you are still experiencing issues with your order, please feel free to reach out to us on hi@shopaverie.com. Again, my name is James and I will personally be able to assist you with anything you need if you choose to get in touch.
Like I mentioned, we have definitely learnt a lot over this Summer and are increasing our capacity and efficiency in our supply chains so that these delays won’t happen again. We're a new and quickly growing company and in the past few months, we were thrilled to see the overwhelming response to our new collections and our made-to-order approach, however, we had faced some unexpected delays due to a combination of issues like worldwide fabric shortages, extended logistics and shipping times along with production timelines. Unfortunately, we did face some fulfillment delays over the past few months and, while we've have been working hard to overcome them, I am very sorry that your order was affected.
As you stated, we faced supply chain issues, a worldwide fabric shortage and delays in shipping and production which pushed out the delivery dates of many orders. We also had an overwhelmingly positive response to our made-to-order production model and new designs, something we were delighted to see but compounded the issue.

James here from Averie Customer Care. I am very sorry to hear that you faced some serious delays with your orders and understand your frustration in this matter. Unfortunately, we did face some fulfilment issues over the past few months due to a combination of factors.
We were so excited to see the overwhelming response to our new collections and our made-to-order approach, however, we did later encounter a number of issues within our supply chain and the demand from our incredible customers. Our Operations and Supply teams have been working everyday to overcome these issues, which included both internal and external issues; like worldwide fabric shortages, extended logistics and shipping times, and production timelines. We’re really happy to say that these issues are now much improved, and our made-to-order collections are shipping in their specified time windows.
At the same time, we’ve also been working hard to continually improve our communication with our Customer Support Network both directly and through our Social Media platforms. We’re currently in the process of launching our new up-to-date order overview, which will show you where your made-to-order item(s) are in our production lines! This will hopefully help everyone track their orders, and see where exactly in the production stage each and every item is sitting!

Unfortunately, we did face some fulfillment delays earlier this year due to a combination of factors, which our wonderful Operations team have worked hard to overcome. These which include both internal and external factors; such as a worldwide fabric shortage and extended logistics, shipping and production timelines. We are continually improving our communication and are in the process of updating our customer profiles with a new feature which will show you where your made-to-order items are in our production lines!

Mark here from Averie Customer Care. Thank you so much for your feedback and I'm so sorry to hear you had this experience. I appreciate it was frustrating to have to wait for a response and I can see that your replacement item has now been delivered.
Here at Averie, we operate with an on demand production model so that we can avoid over-production, reduce waste, and conserve the Earth's resources. This means that many items in our catalogue are only produced once a customer makes an order and so, there is a production time associated with them, usually of 6-8 weeks. When an item is preordered like this, you receive a discount to account for the longer shipping time and both the discount and the shipping time are communicated on the product page.
While we take care to check each and every order before sending them out, on the rare occasion a faulty product is received and we are very sorry that this is what happened in your case. We were dealing with a high volume of email contacts at the time and this unfortunately led to a delay in responding to you but I am very glad to see that the issue has now been resolved.
We are currently hard at work on new updates to our website that will mean that communication delays like this don't happen again but in the meantime, I would like to sincerely apologise, on behalf of everyone here at Averie, for our late response.

I am very sorry to hear about your experience and we understand how frustrating the delays have been over the Summer. I would like to take this opportunity to explain some of the reasons behind our late deliveries from the last few months.
We were so excited to see the overwhelming response to our new collections and our made-to-order approach, however, we did later encounter a number of issues within our supply chain. Our Operations team is working hard to overcome these issues, which includes both internal and external factors; like fabric shortages worldwide, extended logistics and shipping times, and production timelines. Unfortunately, all of these factors led to production and delivery delays and as a result have then affected our beloved customers.
As you can imagine for a growing company, we are working really hard to continually improve our communication with our Customer Support Network both directly and through Social Media platforms. We are sorry to hear that you think we have been monitoring and deleting your reviews, this is not the case and we are now taking the time to reply to our TrustPilot reviews. Mark here from Averie Customer Care. I am very sorry to hear that you are dissatisfied with your Averie shopping experience. I can understand your frustration in this matter, and I also really appreciate your support of our sustainability efforts!
I have taken a look into your order and emails, and I see that my team have been in touch with you regarding the shipping dates and production updates for your two items, which have both since been delivered and one of which has been returned. I do see as well that a chargeback was raised before our warehouse had finished processing the return for a refund (our timeframe is typically 7-10 days from delivery of a return). Unfortunately, a chargeback ends up blocking the money with your chosen bank and from there, the banks can take up to 75 days to process & address these topics, and the account is blocked from us issuing the refund back directly. We also hope the bank’s review is completed very shortly, or the chargeback is removed and this way we can directly and quickly refund the item to resolve it right away.
We’ve definitely learnt a lot over these past months, and as a young company with big ambitions, we are really keen to continue to improve our processes, as well as expand our production and shipping capacities. I would like to sincerely apologise, on behalf of everyone here at Averie, that your order was affected by these delays, and we would certainly love the opportunity one day to make it up to you and show you how much we have improved. I would also like to thank you for supporting us in our mission to promote sustainability in fashion.

I’m looking back at our last contact with you and I see that the swimsuit you chose instead of the sold out one arrived after you posted this review.
