I bought this holiday insurance via. Moneysupermarket. They did all the work really. I thought the premium charged for the cover offered the most suitable and best value for me.

Very easy to fill in the form , very straightforward,especially with pre existing conditions. And the price was much better than we thought. Would certainly use again .

Easy to use website to get quotes and make a purchase. Very reasonable prices too.

I couldn't add the countries that I was visiting. Rang the help line operator immediately.She couldn't either and was talking about amendment charges!
Cancelled the policy. This was confirmed by email the following day

The agent who handled my request to add cruise cover to my travel insurance policy was efficient. The price was a bit high so I will review at renewal time.

These sites tend to send u round and round but not this one

I needed to notify a change to my medical status prior to travel and the agent was very helpful on modifying my policy.

My experience is similar to other responses. The USA helpline does not work when you have a hospital emergency as we had in June. The internal communication is non existent. You are hung out to dry to deal with a hospital looking for treatment payment. I filed a complaint and despite a few placatory responses my issues are unresolved after eleven weeks. Avoid this company at all costs. Do not get fooled by the competitive policy price.

Following this review I was asked by AvantiGo to provide details of my complaint so that the appropriate department could follow up. That was two weeks ago and I have heard nothing. It’s now over three months since I first tegistered my complaint with no resolution or contact other than they will get in touch.
I also noticed that my original Trustpot review was missing so I am reinstating it.

I hope that I’m never going to actually review this service as that would mean something had gone seriously wrong whilst we were on holiday.
Good price and hopefully suits all our needs. Keeping fingers crossed that will never have to find out how good the service is

I rang the helpline to add an existing condition, that didn’t seem to be covered by the medical questions. The advisor, I spoke to, was very helpful, and the condition was added, at a small extra cost.
