I think one star is generous at first a little odd then spoke to Andy he was very rude to another customer,but just let it go over my head.was there for an assessment one hour would say most was done in 30 minutes,but he did come back with his assessment would need more investigation to call wheel driver sensor.he would look at it in the afternoon so I was greatfull however I call in the morning just to see if anything had changed
Wishful thinking he complained that I had called said I had been calling all morning then said he would just send me the bill for the assessment and to pick up the car didn't want any more to do with it I understand he has ADHD but the man gets so angry when you just ask a question would suggest you avoid this establishment I was recommended but my experience was by far from a good one steer clear

Initially, a good service, very detailed report after two days, and gave authorisation to continue further checks .
After a few calls to find out how it was progressing, firstly told of staff shortages, and how busy they were.
A week later, called again, and was told that the car was not booked in, even though I'd given authorisation to continue a week previously, was told, in there words, that we don't need problem customers, especially on a Monday morning.
Basically, come and get your car, we ain't interested.
£360.00 pound, .
Unprofessional, rude and only wished I had read other reviews first,
Please use all review sites, and take note.
Please see attached conversation from a supposed professional.
Rude, also took 10 minutes to locate my car on collection, as they had to call someone to ask where it was.
Parked off site.

No work ethic :34 days and no work done

I had a US Import LHD Audi Q7 that had some wiring issues. Just prior, I had had a diagnostics company do some investigations and so I passed on all the info. I asked 3 things-
1) Can you get the wiring diagrams as I’ve been told this may be an issue
Answer: Yes no problem at all
2) Can I leave the car with you as I am away for a month with work, and I need it ready for when I get back, but I don’t want the car left on the road as it has expensive new head unit in a box on the front seat
Answer: Yes that’s fine, we have our own secure storage facility
3) Can you keep me updated
Answer: Yes, of course, we will do up to 3 hours investigation then come back to you with recommendations, I will put it in the workshop on Thursday (2 days time) and then contact you.
Me: Great, please use WhatsApp to contact me
Answer:I’ll put that in the diary

After 3 days I heard nothing so called them, no answer, called again no answer.
Called the next day, again, no answer.
After numerous attempts to contact them, finally on the 4th day a guy answered and said the guy who will be working on my car is away, he’ll be back next week, best call back then.
14 days after leaving them the car I was told they need to get the wiring diagrams, it’s shouldn’t take long.
20days- still no wiring diagrams and when I filled up I was told “they will get here when they get here”.
Frustrated at this lack of effort, I obtained the official wiring diagrams myself from Audi USA and offered to send them at my expense.
Rather than, as I expected recoebe this with thanks, they said they couldn’t use when I asked why, they said they have to be Audi original diagrams, I said they are, so they then said as they were pdf versions, it would take to long to figure it all out and they needed the e-version (they have now had the car 3 weeks and not done any work in it.) I couldn’t understand why they were being so obstructive.
When I reminded the them of their promise that the wiring diagrams wouldn’t be an issue and that they would keep me informed, and it was now nearly 4 weeks and no wiring diagrams and not once had they contacted me, not once, - I had done all the chasing, trying to find solutions while they appeared completed disinterested.
I then expressed my concern that the car wouldn’t be ready for when I returns as promised and they have under delivered and came across as lazy and disinterested.
They then became defensive, all of a sudden I had a written report (which mirrors Carly the information I had given them word for word, and an invoice for 1 hrs work (saying they had done nearly 2 but wouldn’t charge me for 1- they had had the car 32 days at this stage)
Reluctant to pay the invoice as it had been such an ordeal chasing them to do anything, I then recimded and in the hope of putting the matter behind me just paid and gave them details of when I wanted to pick up the car. The day before and on the day of collection, having paid the invoice online, I confirmed my arrival time and stated I was coming direct from Heathrow airport in a taxi. They confirmed the car was ‘ready’. When I arrived by taxi, wheeling 2 large suitcases I was handed the key and told the car is parked about a mile away! I couldn’t believe it! The agreement was to collect from the garage- This was an obviously spiteful gesture.
When I finally arrived at the car after having to organise another taxi, I was amazed to find it parked on a road on an industrial estate absolutely covered in leaves and grime. It was obvious the car hadn’t been moved for weeks, it was my impression they never even had the car in the workshop, as everything in the front seats of the car was exactly as I had left it, and, especially as the report of work done was a copy of the info I had given them.
Trustpilot mentions I should suggest areas for improvement, but with attitudes like this, I would simply suggest avoid using them, and don’t make the mistake I did.

DO NOT USE. AVOID AT ALL COST

DO NOT USE! Modern day theft. Had the car for weeks. Sent random videos of the engine. Refused to answer the phone or return phone calls. Only talks via WhatsApp. Brags how he takes cars that he know he wont fix and charges hundreds of pounds for it. Brags how much money he earns ripping people off. Avoid at all costs. You will only end up poorer for the experience with your car still broken.

Fantastic service

I had a last minute dead battery in my mini. Andrew was able to fit me in between other jobs that afternoon. The job was done with a new battery fitted within 1/2 hour of his arrival. Fantastic service, thank you!

Driiving back from holiday

Driiving back from holiday, my car decided to have a hissy fit with alarms going off and stuff not working like power steering, ABS and about everything else, i pulled over and found that i was only round the corner from there garage, managed to get there and they was very helpful managed to find the problem quickly and the price was reasonable to get it done as well

had an issue with airbag sensor and…

had an issue with airbag sensor and light they were able able to fit me in on an emergency due to my MOT running out. fixed the problem plus at a great price with customer service

I thought it right to apprise other potential customers of this rogue company and aggressive proprietor - Andrew Goral. I would suggest looking at the information held about this person on Companies House!

Take the time to read and relate to the GENUINE reviews about this company, both Ferndown and Poole branches.

As other reviewers have already stated, this company will continue taking your money without being able to diagnose the problem correctly.

My Ford Transit had an airbag issue, with the light being on. Ferndown Auto Electrix reached an invoice amount of over £1000.00 (!!!) for an issue that was subsequently correctly (!!!) diagnosed by another company and resolved instantly (& fixed) for £40.00. Auto Electrix will over inflate your billing to ridiculous amounts!!!

I’ve been on this planet over 50 years and never have I come across such disappointment in service and human behaviour!

I wish I was sensible enough to have read the reviews previously, but they turned up opposite me on Ferndown Industrial Estate, and I gave them the benefit of doubt???

BIG BIG MISTAKE!

Think very very hard, save yourself a lot of pain and use them at NO resort!!!!!

If I can save just one more innocent customer from falling victim to Andy goral & his company, I have achieved something from my experience.

Great service

Absolutely top service from Mark. I called on Monday regarding a warning light on the dashboard after damage to a wire under the passenger seat. I was booked in for the same week, thoroughly updated throughout the day about what work was being done on my car and when it will be ready. Very professional, knowledgeable and great service. Definitely recommend!

Excellent diagnostic skills

Auto Electrix Ferndown was my last hope for my partners aging Mondeo 2.5 v6 automatic I had been recommended to them by The Gearbox Specialist Boscombe Mark the technician was really thorough with excellent communication skills throughout the diagnostic process
Extremely reasonable cost for a very fiddly difficult job
Would highly recommend and use again

Brilliant communication and super…

Brilliant communication and super professional as always from Mark on my 2nd visit to Auto Electrix recently. Most importantly, sorted an engine management problem I was concerned about, faulty abs and new key for a reasonable price. Highly recommended and I won’t ever use anyone else for my vehicle electrics 👌🏼

Excellent

Really, really helpful. Was able to book in quickly. Was able to fix electrical fault. Gave full explanation and outlined any potential future issues. Polite and courteous. Have recommended and would definitely use again.
