I cannot express enough gratitude for the outstanding service we received from the team at Austins, especially Caroline at the Hitchin branch. From the very first moment we made contact, Caroline’s kindness and sensitivity helped guide us through what was undoubtedly one of the hardest times in our lives. She was always there to answer any questions, provide reassurance, and offer gentle support, making us feel like our dad was in the very best hands.

On the day of the funeral, Lee and his team went above and beyond to give our dad a truly faultless send-off. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care were clear every step of the way, and it was a beautiful and respectful service that we will always remember.

It’s not easy to find the right words during such an emotional time, but I can say with confidence that the compassion shown by Caroline, Lee, and everyone at Austins helped ease our grief and allowed us to focus on remembering and celebrating our dad’s life. Thank you so much for everything.

My husband made it easier with paying up front for his funeral but it was still very hard with the extra things I had to order.
The staff helped me with everything I needed help with and nothing was to much including recommend the revernd as my husband was religious.

Kelly was very helpful and made the whole process much easier to deal with. She was easy to communicate with, always returning calls and messages. Her help with the celebrant, who was brilliant in assisting us with the service, was also greatly appreciated.

Austin’s were amazing the whole way through the process from within an hour of us losing our beautiful mum to the day that we laid her to rest. They guided us through each and every step at a time when we most needed it - everyone we spoke to and met with were just so kind and lovely to our family - losing our mum and my dad losing his beloved wife of nearly 70 years was devastating and the worst time of our lives and I am so grateful that I knew to ring Claire straight away and for her immediate help and guidance right through to the end

Excellent service received at a very difficult time. We dealt with Kelly at the Welwyn office. She was so approachable and straight forward and put us completely at ease during the whole process. The funeral Director, Gary, on the day of the service, was very approachable, respectful and empathetic to all our wishes.
