What made it great and an easy process is that we were assigned 1 representative from Athena who checked in with us all along the whole process.
Then filling out the forms online and sending the appropriate paperwork to complete it all, made it simple and a stress free process.

Without a doubt the most stand out, ethical lender I have ever dealt with and I have had many home loans. Interest rate drops passed down same day, Aussie call centre you name it they do it and have it.

Ok firstly I worked in banking and specifically lending for 16 years with a regional bank up until 2019. I understand the lending process. Athena have blown me away. We recently set-up and investment loan with a 30 day settlement something that would have made me shudder when I was lending. Athena were so onto everything and we were ready to settle with 2 weeks to spare. Going back to the very start of the process which was months earlier speaking with Bec via text the whole process was so seemless and easy. Of course Athena's rates and no fees are a drawcard but you would think the service wouldn't be there but this was totally the opposite. Great speedy service with great rates and no fees is the way all banks should be but sadly they are not. If your considering changing banks I would highly recommend you consider changing to Athena.

Quick approval to meet deadline

Process was quick and easy with the help of my mortgage broker. Athena have the process streamlined and their servicability criteria is apparently more friendly towards single-income home owners than other mortage providers. The whole process was approved and settled in under 2 weeks!
