Utterly incompetent. Frequent emails go unanswered. Just robo-texts that it's imperative to call them, then wait on the line for someone to pickup. No joined up back office or ability to resolve things. Couldn't recognise most basic issue, and had to pester them to do most basic follow-up.

I spoke with a guy called Rob who was very thorough an very helpful more so than Santander who are just woeful. I would certainly recommend anyone with issues with their lender speaking to Ascent

I have found my review of financial problems with mortgage excellent customer service and did not make it difficult to discuss my problems with I would say that if you need to be contacted by them with anything do not hesitate to take the call

I struggled at first to speak to someone or get a call back as promised after trying since December 2021, however I got help from Yassar Ahmed in April 2022, and he was just brilliant. He was patient and extremely helpful, resolving my issue to absolute satisfaction.
I would like to personally thank him as he made all the difference to me sleeping at night again, and restored my faith in humankind. Thank you Yassar from my heart ❤

I am currently dealing with Ascent, who are working with me regarding my mortgage arrears. I had buried my head in the sand for some time prior to Ascent getting involved on behalf of the Halifax and was extremely anxious about the whole situation. Since the first contact with Carly, my mind was put at ease immediately and after the call I felt the massive weight lift off my shoulders. Since setting up an affordable payment plan with them, I've been able to focus on my family and work and not be totally consumed with the worry and stress that I was feeling beforehand! I have since spoken to Martin who went above and beyond today to help me out, which I greatly appreciate. I must say, both Carly and Martin are a shining example of what great customer service is, extremely informative, empathetic and decent human beings - a credit to your company!! I urge anyone who is worried about getting in touch to discuss your situation to do so - you will feel much better after speaking to these guys!
