The process was super quick and easy, Shane was great and advised me on what would be best for my plans and the most cost effective way which is great especially as someone who isn’t massively familiar with the area!

We needed to change the pick up time for an event. Shane was extremely helpful and prompt in his responses. We have used Anything for Hire a few times now, and wouldn't hestate to recommend them.

Kevin was very helpful & polite and I was told that the limo would be £500 for an hour. I, understandably, had to pay a deposit of £150 to secure the booking and the remainder would be payable one month prior to the occasion. I was told that a complimentary bottle of bubbly was included - for which I requested alcohol free - and when asked what colour ribbon I wanted, I asked if it was possible to have both blue AND yellow ribbons. He said he would request it.

The receipt I received shows that I paid £165 deposit and the balance is £350...... Now I was never much good at maths but even I know that doesn't add up to £500 in total.

I also noticed that the "Extra" and "Notes" boxes were both empty even though I was told that a request had been made for two ribbon colours and alcohol-free bubbly.

Anyway, the receipt showed that the limo is booked with West Country Wedding Cars so I phoned them direct this morning to alter the booking. I had no idea until then that my initial conversation with Kevin had been with an agency and it turns out that the £165 "deposit" that I paid was, in fact, their fee for playing the, unbeknown to me, "Middle-Man"

Had I phoned West Country Wedding Cars direct, I would have only been charged £350 for the limo for an hour - No booking fees or hidden extras. When I checked that they knew I wanted alcohol free bubbly, she said she had no idea what I was talking about...... They dont supply a complimentary bottle of bubbly!!! She very kindly said that they would add one though, given that I had been told there would be a bottle and she made a note for it to be alcohol free. She also had no idea what colour ribbon I wanted, let alone know that I asked if I could somehow have two colours!!!!

I have given one star for "Anything For Hire" because I cant leave a review on zero stars.

Efficient exchange of details, availability, options and cost. Transaction and follow up emails all sorted inside 10 mins, perfect.

Booking was smooth- unfortunately this is as far as it went. I'll caveat that I've received a full refund, but the bus was cancelled the day before the event and an unsuitable alternative offered- leaving me in a stressful situation, having paid the full fee. When I declined this offer, the handling of it was unprofessional- with mixed communication throughout. Having escalated the situation, it was sorted quickly but required me following up several times and getting lawyer's recommendations.
