I had a great experience in purchasing a 2013 VW Passat Alltrack. Car was excellent and all dealings with Russell were done under no pressure. I was coming from Northern Ireland and I needed to be sure what I was buying was as per the description and who I was buying it from were trustworthy, honest and could provide value for money. I arranged a test drive which was comprehensive and all documentation was presented and in order. After a price was agreed and secured, the car was held for a number of weeks until I returned to pick up. Good friendly service and I would happily recommend to anyone. Car buying can be a nervy experience, especially when coming from a far, but I never felt this way in all my dealings.

Very easy to deal with, they are totally honest and the car I bought was exactly how it was advertised. Russell dealt with me and he was a great guy happy to answer any questions and explained everything very clearly and would happy recommend Allen & Forey cars to friends and family

Outstanding service from an independent garage who gave great advice, didnt pressure a sale and had a number of very nice cars at great value on their forecourt. Very experienced and exceptionally polite and good value too. I'd definitely recommend to friends and family.

I just picked up my new car from Allen & Forey Cars. The whole experience was fantastic. Buying a used car, when you don't know a lot about them, can be a daunting prospect, but Ian and Russell made it an enjoyable one. The guys are super professional and willing to go out of their way to help. There are no hard sales techniques and they certainly know their stuff. I shall be returning in the future!

It’s been a pleasure dealing with Russell and Ian throughout the purchase of my new car from them. I got a great reception when I first rang them to enquire about the car and thus had a great feeling from them on the off.

Having had a very bad experience with purchasing an Audi A5 from another dealer, my wife and I were wary about purchasing another car.
Fortunately we decided to buy our BMW from Allen and Forey and wished we had gone to them in the first place.
They're level of service was excellent, Russell was very understanding of our apprehensions and made us feel comfortable again.
After our test drive we decided we wanted the car and paid a deposit. Russell was aware that we had to wait for the debacle of our previous purchase to be resolved( from Kitely Motors in Bishops Stortford) and was happy to wait until we had recovered the finance from there to purchase the car.
At all times there were no pushy sales techniques and Russell was very knowledgeable.
With the finance in place Russell had the car ready for us to pick up promptly ( even made me a nice cup of tea whilst paperwork was being signed in a proper cup not from a machine in a paper or plastic cup! Good for impact on environment !!!)
Drove away armed with a Gold Service 6 month warranty and piece of mind that we had done business with this dealer.
We would highly recommend Allen and Forey and will use them when I replace my car next time.

Although I didn't purchase a car I came to view I was impressed by my treatment as a prospective purchaser. From the way Ian answered the phone to meeting both Ian & Russell gave me a positive feeling. I was looking forward to the visit. Too many motor retailers treat customers like adversaries, which means everyone is starting off on the wrong basis. A pleasures buying a car from Ian and Russell. the car was immaculately presented, inside and out. You could tell they have real pride in the vehicles they sell.
There was no hard sell. It was all very relaxed. I immediately wanted the car and trusted them completely. I mentioned I might find it difficult to collect for a while and they offered to drop it off for me, which was incredibly helpful. The car was coming up for an MOT which they also sorted for me. The car did not have its original handbook, so they contacted Mazda and got one sent to me. Their customer service is fantastic.
I’ve had the car a month now. It’s absolutely lovely. Perfect condition and I couldn’t find anything similar (nationwide) that matched their price.
I cannot recommend them enough.

These guys are amazing. I have never dealt with nicer, more accommodating people and I will be going back to them to buy all of my cars in the future. I called up to express an interest in a car and got through to Russell who couldn't give me enough information about it, he even went outside and told me the exact mileage it had done. Before I knew it I was happily putting a holding deposit down on the car and was booked in to see it at the weekend. They were about an hour's drive from us so not local but well worth the drive. The condition of the car was immaculate and very decently priced. I wasn't 100% sure on the first viewing however and had a viewing for another car booked in during the week so they let me keep my holding deposit on their car whilst I went to my other viewing. My other viewing ended up being later than expected so they ended up holding the car for me for over a week which they didn't have to do as they had other interest in it. I went back for a second viewing and Russell was just as accommodating as before, he left me alone to look over the car in detail so that I could make a decision with no pressure and I finally decided to buy the car. The transaction was simple and the added 6 months warranty and breakdown cover was great. I part exchanged my car as well and it was nice knowing that it was genuinely going to be looked after and sold on by them. These guys also source cars so it's well worth letting them know what you're looking for even if they don't have it in. Thank you so much for making it such a lovely experience and I'm absolutely thrilled with my new car! I look forward to seeing you again in the future.

I recently purchased a vehicle from this car dealer.
I can honestly say with out a shadow of doubt, these guys know how to treat a customer and how to run a car dealership!

I travelled over 3 hours to complete on this sale, and the vehicle was perfect as described. There was no nasty hidden issues.

The car was 100% great. At the moment of arrival we were offered a hot drink, shown the car, and generally cared for.

There was no knock down on my car as a px. They honored the agreement with out hesitation.

Fantastic service, fantastic car, fantastic dealer.

For many the purchase of a second hand car is a huge undertaking. Hours sifting through the classifieds, checking MOT Histories, arranging finance etc.
My experience found me seeking a replacement for my trusty old Mitsubishi L200 which, sadly, passed earlier this year aged 23 (RIP Betsy).
I was looking for a Mitsubishi Shogun Sport and as such had cars around 10/12 years old to choose from. Most of the advertised cars did not make it through my initial paper sift due to poor MOT history or lack of service history etc.
I came across Allen and Forey Cars Ltd in Autotrader. Their advert was well constructed and informative. The problem was they were also 400 miles away!
Having been down the "Come and have a look, you won't be disappointed" route a few times I was naturally sceptical of anything a car salesman told me!
I bit the bullet and contacted Russell at Allen and Forey. My main concerns revolved around the condition of the underside of this type of 4x4 vehicle. No sooner had I raised this with Russell when he volunteered to photograph the vehicle underside and chassis to support the condition described by him. Not only did he provide me the promised pictures but also included several others of minor points of concern he noted on the car which he thought I would like to be aware of prior to travelling such a distance. When do you ever hear of a car salesman volunteering information on a vehicles faults!
Having perused the pictures provided alongside the original advert photos and online MOT history I essentially purchased the car over the phone by providing the guys with a deposit.
An eventful day of Planes Trains and Automobiles followed and I, eventually, found myself in a lovely little village named Chalfont st Giles. Having refuelled at the Costa coffee shop and having spoken with a lovely elderly resident, who informed me I had "a bit of a walk" to reach the garage! I decided to chance my luck and phone Russell. Ten minutes later I was in Russells car and heading to the garage down picturesque leafy lanes, which I doubt I would have found on my own.
On arrival at the premises I found the car to be as described and well prepared. I found Russell and his business partner Ian to be very open and friendly. I was given time to look over the car and was never put under any pressure or given any 'sales pitch'
We retired to the spotlessly clean and modern office where we completed the transaction seamlessly and had a bloody good laugh with the guys to boot.
I was given a six month warranty and RAC breakdown cover with my car providing me with invaluable peace of mind.
I then completed a 420 mile road test and made it home without incident.
In summary; I found a car which had been described to me honestly, sold by a couple of very professional but thoroughly lovely blokes. I would recommend Allen and Forey Car Ltd to anyone!
