Run away!!! This company is unreliable. company I…

This is undoubtedly the worst company I have ever done business with. I bought a frame and it simply hasn't arrived. All I get are excuses and the company pushing the problem onto the shipping company. 7 days waiting and nothing, no information or help, and I even paid for shipping. The worst hell on Earth for a company that claims to do business online but is incapable of doing so.

Usually, delivery takes 2-4 business days, with the glasses needing 1-2 more days for an internal transfer - all of this information is available on our website upon placing an order (both the estimated dispatch time and the delivery time).

If the delivery time is past its advertised timeframe, please, contact us, so that we could urge delivery and seek some form of compensation for your troubles.

Still waiting for delivery after a week

Update: I spoke to Alensa. The process was a bit complicated but they did indeed refund me.

I placed a large order that was supposed to be delivered last week within 24h with Royal Mail 24h tracked. Parcel Force claimed they attempted to deliver on Sat, when I was at home all day, but miraculously failed to leave a note as proof of attempted delivery. I asked them to deliver today and I again haven't heard a peep from them.

Please investigate what is going on with my parcel FI142968393GB. If I do not receive the parcel within 24h and communication from the company, I will contest the transaction with my card company.

Please note that my contract for timely delivery of products is with you as a company, not with Royal Mail/Parcelforce so it is your responsibility to ensure I receive the products on time.

A fantastic company

A fantastic company - well priced and so helpful , I needed some contact lenses in 2 days and I managed to quickly speak to a very helpful human who sorted this. They turned up so I had contact lenses for my trip, very grateful .

I might be spoiled by competitors

I might be spoiled by competitors, but 4 days for delivery is too long. They also don't make this clear prior to ordering, and there is no way to cancel or amend your order online.

SCAMMERS

SCAMMERS. They operate under a fake address in the UK but their work is in Czech Republic. My glasses were poorly manufactured. I was told to return them for a refund. 50 days later they are still telling me they are being inspected and they won’t refund me. They are being investigated for fraud so don’t use this company.

One month on, and still nothing received the correct order.

I ordered my glasses and received them on the 10th of October. I literally couldn’t see anything with them and they obviously weren’t made according to my new eye test . I raised a complaint and returned the glasses on the 17th for re inspection. They received them on the 20th of October. I emailed few times to inquire about the progress and no one bothered to respond to my emails. we are on the 11th of October now and still nothing. I paid £150 for the glasses and still don’t have anything. I raised the issue within the 14 days refund policy and they don’t even bother to respond or deal with the matter. I will rely the matter to the trading standards as I have not received the goods I paid for and will escalate this further. My advice is to avoid at all costs unless you want to chase them endlessly. Disgraceful service.

Customer victimization

I bought eyeglass frames and prescription lenses from this store. I wanted to return the frames because they didn't fit my face, and the lenses were uncomfortable and I couldn't see clearly with them. Before returning them, I contacted the company several times via email to explain the problem I was having with these lenses. The company insisted they don't accept returns on eyeglasses lenses. Many companies accept returns on prescription lenses without any problems, but this store insists on refusing to return defective lenses. I still returned both the frame and lenses to this store. Despite receiving the returns, the store still refuses to refund the money for the lenses. This is a victim of my injustice. This store does not care about customer satisfaction. I highly recommend you reconsider your purchase before purchasing from this store.

Extremely slow shipping despite lenses shown as in stock

I have made multiple orders with Alensa but unfortunately have had an issue with them not actually shipping the item a few time times. My latest order 170694463 was placed on the 29th October when the lenses were clearly listed as 'in stock ready for dispatch'. It was marked as shipped on the 30th October but 2 days after it was supposedly shipped Royal Mail still have not received it! This exact thing has happened me previously - I'm afraid that Alensa just generate a tracking number and then take forever to actually post the item. If you need lenses quickly I'm afraid Alensa isn't the way to go.

Your order was dispatched on 30 October, and according to Royal Mail, it is due for delivery today (4 November - 3rd working day after the dispatch date). Our stated delivery timeframe for Royal Mail is 2–4 working days after dispatch, so your order is still within the expected delivery window.
Please note that as our parcels are shipped from abroad, it can take 1–2 working days after dispatch before Royal Mail updates the tracking information — this is completely normal and simply means the parcel is still in transit to the UK.
