Steer clear, I ordered a tool a month ago. They happily took my money and allowed mt to wait a month before advising that the item wasn’t Available and would be available for another month. Poor business practice selling tools that aren’t available immediately… if an item isn’t available, don’t take Someone’s money! Amazon has the ability to sell you an item on the books, but don’t charge. Custom until the item ships….so much for a family owned business…. I won’t buy anything from them ever again…

This Company is trash. You can never get a hold of them. I have tried to cancel my 100.00 order. I try to log in to
My acct. every single time I have to change my password, shows I gave a placed order. But yet no customer number no shipping no tracking. They do not answer e mails. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! I have reached out to an attorney , this company will be giving me a full refund !

I tried to buy a $3,600 lathe but the order was canceled because they claimed they couldn't verify me however they suggested that I use PayPal. This sets off all sorts of alarms!!
I suggest you read some of the other experiences and learn from them.
I will be taking my business elsewhere. Do not waste your time!!

I should have read the poor reviews and stayed away. I tried ordering 4 times the same item and got denied 4 times. I sent them an email and a bot just replied with the same message I got when sale was denied. Just bought somewhere else. STAY AWAY......POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR A LOCALLY OWNED FAMILY BUSINESS!! I would be embarassed if it was my family.....losing business.

I should have paid attention to trustpikot before I ordered from this company. Long story short: we ordered an expensive mower on day 1, but 3 days later my Visa card bounced it, saying fraud. It wasn’t fraud, but in the ensuing four days, I was unable to get the sales team there to place my order. Tried 3 more times without success, mostly due to their inability to invoice my visa account, which had PRE- approved the purchase. I see now that customer service is very poor here. Glad I cancelled everything with them.

Never recieved shipping info and never recieved items. When I called company to inquire about the item they said it had been delivered but could not provide proof of delivery. Then when I asked what they could do to help they said I had waited longer than 7 days to inquire so ther was nothing they could do. Said I should call paypal and try to get my money back. That is real customer service.

I don't think I'll be buying from them again. No response on inquiries about recent orders

This firm, or what ever it is, just simply steal your money. They never reply your e-mails, asking for the intems you’ve ordered. Criminals!

Acme Tools went above and beyond to satisfy me, koodos to them!

They simply stole my money with not shame..., I paid for the product, gave me a false tracking number and never got delivery.

While searching on the internet I came across the Big Red Tool Sale on Acme tools.I have extensions installed on my computer that automaticly search for coupons I added two Milwaukee Tools (witch are very high rated tools} to my cart. On the Acme site if they have special deals you see them in green in the decription of the product well the one was was buying said free battery and charger with the purchace so I added it to my cart. When checking out the extenion added a coupon 10.00 dollars off. I thought oh great getting the free battery and saving ten dollars too. Well when I received the tools NO Battery and charger did not come. So I called Acme tools and the company representative told me because I had the coupon on my order that coupons and specials do not stack I had no idea. So the moral of the story is you should always check company's coupon policys before you buy this i did not do wish I had since I had never bought from them before. I probily will not buy from them again live and learn.I did not want to send the products back because it was a birthday present and i checked there return policy and they have a restocking fee if the product is not defective.

Once ordered and the money was out of my credit card, there was no way to check order status or contact the guys in any way.
After a month and a half from order I am convinced it’s a scam.
Never again!!

The Customer service is Horrendous!! Bought $700 Plunge Saw with the track as a promotion on 12/21/23 As of this date 2/06/24 still waiting . I have to call for updates. and been told 3 times its a back order item but on there website its says its in stock. ONLY PROMOTION ITEMS ARE ON BACK ORDER ??? Note to myself stay clear from promotions

A cautionary tale.

In late December I ordered a Milwaukee Packout item from ACME Tool and like most I took advantage of the “free shipping”. If your not already aware that free shipping DOES NOT require a signature for delivery. So depending on your area and the level of “porch piracy” and or how dimwitted your delivery driver is (in my case FedEx) you are NOT covered if the package goes missing.

This stated I contacted ACME Tool and was simply told to contact my local Police Department. I had already called them as was told that it would be very unlikely to recover my item. I also called FedEx and filed a complaint about how the delivery was handled. Driver left package on my front porch right in front of the door. In the wide open for any and all that pass by to see. FedEx gave me a reference number and told me to contact ACME Tool and instruct them to file a claim, the item would be covered.

So I called ACME Tool about a week ago and gave them the required information. Fast forward to today, I called them to check up on the matter and was told they did not and will not contact FedEx. That I need to take up the matter with the local police. So please be aware that if you have trouble with your delivery you’ll get little to no assistance from ACME Tool.

Be prepared for them to sell your information, I’ve been unsubscribing from various mailing lists for the last week after placing one order on this site.

Received used/returned item

I reached out to them after 3 weeks of not receiving my order. So they replied to me after a day or two, they said it was being shipped out the next day as if I hadn't contacted no one knew my order existed. After three days I receive a total of 3 items. Two were fine, but the Gearwrench hood light was in used condition. It looked like someone had used it for a week and returned it. I did not pay for a used item.

I purchased Milwaukee products from Acmetools.com because it was listed as an authorized dealer on Milwaukee’s website. I received my order quickly and as described.

I’m reviewing them because often folks don’t write a review unless they had a negative experience.
