Worst customer service ever received!

Worst customer service ever received!
Paid £400 for a dining table to use for the festivities. The order was delayed and when it got to me it was heavily damaged. I now had to find place to store two huge boxes in my one bed flat, in the time of year I have guests everyday! Contacting CS is so stressful! They do the very bare minimum by replying with templates and not reading your emails! While the collection of the damaged delivery has been arranged relatively quickly, no one has even had the decency to address a redelivery and whether I will be having the table for Christmas or my guests will have to eat on the floor! Every time I have emailed them with my response, a different agent replies and do not answer your questions! Twice I have been sent back the same template email but from a different agent and without response to my query. To date, they have taken £400 from me and no sign of a new table and it looks like I will have no table for Christmas! No sign of compensation, no apology for ruining my Christmas, no sign of a manager to speak to and no number to call!! They are acting like a scam company and after receiving responses from 5 different agents they are now IGNORING me!

Super fragile products with NO REPLACEMENTS

Bought a floor lamp on their sales. Stored it for a few months until I moved home. I mistakenly bought the wrong bulbs which caused two, out of the three glass globes, to break when screwing these against the bulbs. Admittedly, this was my mistake. However, the globes are fragile beyond imagination and they literally made small explosion at a simple touch contact with the bulb (I wished I had filmed this). After complaining with Lights & Lamps customer service team, it took them 3 weeks and continuous chasing on my part to be told that the lamp has been discontinued and I could not buy the replacement parts. The lamp was not cheap, as none of their products are and one could never expect that it would impossible to replace broken (super fragile) parts from such a ‘respectable’ company. I was offered NOTHING for the inconvenience of having a new and damaged product in my new home and the inability of replacements (even at my own expense)! They simply expect me to have a broken item in my home for the foreseeable?? Terrible experience and I would suggest you to stay away from them or alternatively wrap your items you buy from them permanently in bubble wrap and refrain from touching any parts before they break at a simple touch!!

Hi Gianluca, many thanks for your feedback. We try to help everyone as much as we can, but once a product is discontinued we cannot hold spare glass indefinitely. If you break a product through misuse we will always try to help but on this occasion we were unable. Our advice is always to follow instructions carefully and report any issues within 7 days of receiving delivery.

The worst tracking system with no…

The worst tracking system with no updates, unhelpful virtual robot advisor that keeps bringing you to the wrong tracking page and a text alert that does not work… after letting me wait at home all day telling me the delivery was been delivered, the package never arrived! The day after, still no eta, no sign when it will be reattempted and s forcing me to stay at home all Saturday waiting for something I don’t know I will receive… impossible to contact anyone either!!! An absolute disgrace
