Very caring customer service

I order the meals on my mother's behalf. Website is easy to use. Mum can't easily get to the door now and the drivers have access to the key safe and put the meals away for her. The office is always very helpful when I have spoken to them personally. They understand the difficulties of dealing with someone with dementia and I am grateful for this.

Quick dispatch and great customer service

Online music arrives instantly and downloading is very easy.

My printed music didn't show up - the fault was with the courier, Evri - and I was impressed by how quickly Musicroom responded to my email (a real person, not a bot!) and sent me another copy, THEN when the original parcel finally showed up, made returning it very easy thanks to a downloadable label and collection from home.

The deletion of a star is for the mistake of using Evri, who never admit it's their fault and have NO effective complaints service - I did try...

Reliable service

Reliable service
Able to book for when it was convenient for me to go to my mother's and friendly people on the phone when booking.
My one area for improvement is I would really like to get an email confirmation of when the service is booked for and the phone number they have as I worry otherwise.

Reliable and personal service

Meals turn up on time and the driver has got to know my mum and her situation - I have given WFF her key safe number so no problems with her not hearing the door or risking a fall answering it, and the driver puts the meals in the freezer himself.
We have had problems with mum forgetting to eat and have now got carers to help - I was very surprised that WFF noticed there hadn't been any orders recently and rang up to check if things were OK.
I can't comment on the meals myself but mum eats them happily and the carers say they smell good!

Good professional company and peace of mind.

Information from company is clear and those on the line always well informed and helpful. I got an alarm for my elderly mother after some falls. The previous alarm was used on a few occasions and the system worked, getting her help and informing me. We have now upgraded to a digital alarm to 'future proof' the landline phone being phased out. This was also handled quickly and my questions answered promptly.

Good selection of music, needs more previews

There is a good selection of music, ordering is easy and delivery of printed music is very quick.
The loss of a star is because it's not possible to preview very much of it. In a 'real' music shop you would have a flick through to see if the music was too difficult or too easy. There were a lot of possibles I didn't buy because I don't want to waste money. Of course you can't display all of it online but a few sample pages from each publication would be so helpful.

Good selection and service

Good selection, books were as described and arrived in good time. My only small complaint would be that I would like to know if one book is being sent separately from the others - when a package arrives with one book missing I am not sure if it is a mistake or coming from elsewhere.

Reliable friendly service

I order these for my elderly mother. I get the impression WFF knows about the problems and challenges faced by elderly people who can't look after themselves any more and they care about their clients.
The delivery driver brings the meals into my mother's house and puts them into the freezer for her, which is great.
It's easy for me to choose the meals and there is an option to buy for someone else so no problem with card and delivery address being separate.
We absolutely rely on this service and it's very reliable.

Great range, quick delivery.

Easy to find what I needed and quick delivery. Wheelchair bag was unexpectedly tested for waterproofness when we got caught in a heavy shower - mum stayed dry and keeps much warmer in the bag. Only issue is it pushes her feet together and her feet came off the wheelchair footrests so we had to create a new footrest.

Good reliable experience

I have been getting shopping deliveries from Sainsbury's for many years and generally it is quick, convenient, and reliable with only a very few blips over the years. Much quicker than traipsing round the shop myself and delivery drivers are always friendly and polite.

Easy to use service.

Easy to find the books I wanted, email communication kept me aware of where things were and books arrived in good condition.
One point specific to a book I ordered: The second hand Virago Modern Classics edition of '84 Charing Cross Road' also contained, unannounced, the sequel The Duchess of Bloomsbury Street. This would have been a delightful surprise if I hadn't already ordered the Duchess from elsewhere at a much higher price (£10.32) than this combined volume (£4.19). I don't at all blame the person who listed it online, the cover bears absolutely no clue to the fact that there are two books inside; you only find out when you open it and the flyleaf tells you. So I am not at all cross with WoB but very cross with Virago! Anyway, I have a spare copy of the Duchess; perhaps I should sell it back to WoB...

Good service

I order on behalf of my mother. Ordering on website is generally easy and when I had a problem with my computer (turned out to be a problem my end) they could take my order over the phone instead. Delivery is very reliable and as far as I can tell from mum the meals are good!

Good choice, quick delivery, poor search engine

Good choice of music and arrived very quickly.

Removal of 1 star is because search engine on site is really poor - I knew I'd seen the music I wanted on the site on a previous shop, but the search couldn't find it. I had to have a real dig around.

Good print-on-demand service

Good print-on-demand service. Slightly surprised to see the plain stock covers rather than the covers of the 'officially' published music (which are the images used for the online shop) but the music inside is the same! Arrived within a few days.

This company cold-called my elderly and vulnerable parents, telling them they had fixed someone's collapsed drain down the street, could they look at their drain? For about 30 minutes' poking about they charged £3250. My mother called me while they were there and I spoke to them, and also called their 0800 office number, they sounded ever so plausible but I was not about to argue when they were there in my parents' house. We stopped the cheque and contacted the police. The PC who visited my parents photographed their 'invoice' which gives no breakdown of hourly rate or cost - a section which says 'This must be completed prior to start of work' is left blank. The police are taking it forward.
