Never again!
I took delivery of a Beko dishwasher at the beginning of August, and quickly found it had a fault - the "mini" wash did not work. Well, it worked - but as the next program up (I can't remember the name). I reported this to the retailer and they arranged for a Beko engineer to call, which he did. He established that there was indeed a fault which couldn't be repaired and issued an "uplift" number for the machine to be replaced. Unfortunately, I had the machine replaced for another Beko. Exactly the same happened with the "new" one - so again another engineer had to be called. This time he didn't even switch the machine on for testing, he relied on his laptop and a call to the technical "experts". The "expert" diagnosed that I was using too much detergent, which I disputed and pointed out that the original engineer didn't even use detergent when testing! I then overheard the "expert" tell the engineer that they weren't going to issue an "uplift" number to return the machine as they weren't going to replace the machine "just because the customer doesn't like it". I didn't like it because it didn't work and I hadn't even tried the other programs - so heaven knows what they were like!!! Fortunately, the retailer agreed to take this machine back and, paying the difference, I chose a decent machine - a Bosch! I always thought that Beko was a good, reliable make - never again! My sheer frustration. stress and anger at the situation are the reason I have waited to calm down sufficiently to send this review.
