I'm on holiday and I attempted to buy a fund. Unfortunately I was using my tablet and managed to get the wrong fund. I called Andrina andtold her I'd been careless and could I please cancel the order. Andrina explained it was not always possible to cancel but would try. I was put on hold for a short while and andrina told me the trade was cancelled. She then asked if there was anything else she could help me with. I was glad to say no.

What I particularly like about Just Tyres is there is no hard sell on he occasions I have used them.
On this occasion I ordered a tyre because it had gone completely flat in 3 days. I pumped it upto see if it would last long enough to get it to Just Tyres. It did hold up, permanently so I cancelled the online booking and was refunded promptly.

I found MWQ's approach to doing business refreshing after discarding two previous potential will writing companies. One company was too pushy by far and the other tried too hard to get me to take out a pre-paid funeral plan. This was after I had told him I expected our estate to be into IHT territory by the time we died.
My main contact at MWQ was Darren Hewitt who couldn't have been more helpful but others I had occasion to deal with were also helpful and very pleasant.
At first I intended to have mirror wills for my wife and self with storage plus 4 x POA. A neighbour said he had done his own POA's online. I wanted a professionaly prepared will as an amateur could cause problems but with a POA it has to be registered before it becomes valid. I looked online and it wasn't that daunting so I told Darren I would not be requiring the POA service. He was fine about it saying if I changed my mind MWQ would be happy to do it.
I am fully satified with the service I have received from MWQ and all at reasonable cost.

Phoned ii to enquire why it said a SIPP transaction was in progress when it was not. The money was already in my bank. Spoke to Karen O. who contacted the SIPP administrators while I held for a short period of time.
It was nice and a little unusual to have the problem sorted in one hit.

#1 10 May 2021. Rang regarding reference on new bank account incorrect. Tried to modify online and got error message, ‘cannot verify ……………’ which is rubbish because the account details had only just been verified, with difficulty by me supplying documentation to prove I genuinely had this account in my name. In fact trying to change your reference, (the one that will appear on your bank statement) counts as a change of bank, and you cannot change your bank more than once a month.
Megan kindly got this sorted for me manually. 5 stars for Megan. 3 stars for ii for being silly and making unnecessary work. Modifying the reference should not flag up a change in bank account.
#2 10 May 2021. Rang regarding lack of progress on making withdrawal from wife’s SIPP.
Dan dealt with the call very well, referring to colleague in pensions. Hopefully things are on the move. 5 stars for Dan, 3 stars only for ii for previously saying a SIPP transfer was complete
when one fund had been lost in the ether.
#3 10 May 2021. Rang regarding my SIPP. ii, unlike most SIPP providers keep crystallised and uncrystallised funds in the same account. This means that you have to lookup elsewhere on the web site the value of each component. Unfortunately this information had been replaced with the message ‘Not available’.
I had queried via secure messaging why the information was not available and was told it was because of a transfer in received on 12 April and the information would be available once the transfer had settled. The transfer in was a dividend from my previous SIPP provider for £27.80 this was obviously cash so why does it take nearly a month or more to settle?
I spoke to Chloe who was very helpful. She spoke to the SIPP dept. and I should have the information restored by the end of the week. 5 stars for Chloe, 3 stars for ii, perhaps they should consider doing what HL and Fidelity do and have separate crystallised and uncrystallised funds.
ii are very competitive and I get the impression they are growing a bit too fast. Despite employing more people they appear overworked and sometimes inexperienced. Perhaps easing back on marketing and promotions for a time would be a good thing for employees and customers?

I was speaking to Lauren Thomas querying why there was no money in my wife's ISA to withdraw when she had received several dividends.
Lauren explained the reason, namely that a BED & ISA transaction in progress had caused a debit on the ISA and a corresponding credit in her trading account.
The credit will be credited to the ISA in a few days when the sell and buy transactions have settled.
The downside is we have to wait a few days to make the withdrawal.
The upside, (well worth the minor inconvenience IMO) is that you are never out of the market , at least with funds that are valued once a day, meaning your number of units remains the same.

Had a couple of queries about taking tax free cash from my SIPP. Spoke to Michelle who couldn't have been more helpful, answering my questions in full.
The SIPP ii offer is a little unusual in that their SIPP combines crystallized and uncrystallized funds in the same account. Most platforms will give you two accounts. This is academic if you transfer all your fund into drawdown in one tranch and do not make any further contributions.
ii seem geared up for shareholders. If you hold funds though there is no switching facility. you have to sell, wait until ii receives the money before you can reinvest it meaning you're out of the market for several days unlike most platforms where you're out only one day.
If you do not change funds regularly the cost of ii is hard to beat if you have a sizeable portfolio.
