Easy to deal with

Had taken out cosmetic insurance as well as alloy cover when I got the car in June. First time I have had to claim when someone scraped the corner when parked.

Contacted Motoreasy and they asked for proof which I supplied. Came back to me within 24 hours and arranged for a local company to come out within a week.

Today the car is back to pristine condition :-)

Someone needs to stop companies like this! Edited following reply from Trackerly….

This is a complete ripoff company and should not be permitted to advertise their services at the top of Google suggestions. I Googled Royal Mail tracking to see where my parcel was at and clicked on the first link assuming it would take me to Royal Mail. After inputting my tracking number, the website was asking for £1 I thought that I had underpaid when I sent the small parcel and very nearly put in my card details. Thankfully I thought for a minute and checked the website address and saw it was Trackerly and not Royal Mail. Trackerly is trying to catch people off guard to make money and if I look at other comments it may well take further payments later as part of a subscription. (EDIT IN TRACKERLY’s STANDARD FORMAT REPLY THEY STATE THAT CHARGES ARE CLEARLY STATED IN THEIR TERMS OF BUSINESS. PERHAPS FOR CLARITY CHARGES SHOULD BE WRITTEN CLEARLY ON THE MAIN PAGES). Someone needs to stop companies like this!

Best in my area

I get several parcels delivered weekly and although it’s not me sending, I am always happier when I know the parcel is being delivered by DPD. Driver always polite, not rushing around throwing parcels over gates like some other delivery companies and they tend to deliver earlier than most others.

What’s not to like?

Genuine Samsung products, sensibly priced and delivered on the very next day, even on a Sunday. They also give you points which I used to get discount on another order. What’s not to like, yes you can sometimes find a bit cheaper, but this way you know that what you’re buying is genuine with guarantee.

The BBQ (heavy) was delivered within the timeframe I was given, communication from the outset was good and I was kept up to date, including a phone call 15 minute prior. The driver kindly sack barrowed to my back garden. Driver was friendly

Change tariff via app

Just changed tariff prior to the April 1 increase. Very competitive and easy to change via the app. Been with them a few years now and never had any issues.

The good and the bad

Had 2 deliveries from AIT over the past 2 weeks. The first was 4 kitchen appliances, the van arrived and inside everything was a mess, large boxes all over the place, some on their side, nothing in order. Eventually they found the 4 and thereafter everything went well. For this I would have given 3 stars. The second delivery was an American fridge freezer in a larger Luton van, this was true 5 star service. Overall communication was incredible with 3 or 4 emails and texts and a phone call to confirm 30 minutes before delivery.

Outstanding service

This is the second year I have used BG to service my Worcester Bosch boiler, I use them during the summer months as the cost is less (just £69). Engineer arrived on time and spent about 40 minutes giving the boiler a good service and clean. All being well it will behave for yet another year.

Good prices and fast delivery. I placed the order at 16:08 on the Tuesday, assuming that I wouldn’t get delivery for a couple of days. Later got a mail stating that I had a timed delivery on the Wednesday, also competitively priced - what more can you ask.

Been with them over 15 years

Surprised to see such poor reviews. I have been with pet-insurance for about 20 years and have always found them incredibly reasonable compared to others offering the same, or worse cover. In all the years, I have claimed twice once for Danny (cross collie/retriever), at the time 7 years old with cancer. They covered £11k of treatment to rebuild his leg. The second time was Lily who had lymphoma and they covered £8k of treatment. Both sadly gone now, but I continue to insure with them, currently my two 5 year old Irish setters which cost me £21 each per 4 weeks per dog for up to £60k worth of cover.
What’s there not to like

Falling short on delivery

Yodel are a decent well priced courier, I have used them in the past and would not hesitate to do so again. However, on receiving deliveries they fall short on leaving parcels unattended. This is not the first time that I sit at home waiting for the bell to ring only to find that the parcel was just dumped outside for anyone to come by and take.

UPS - Let's hope it's not breakable!

Sitting and waiting at home for the parcel to arrive between 11am and 2pm, when I get a message to say "UPS have delivered". Love the way that we are kept updated :-) HOWEVER, to just not bother ringing the doorbell and to just chuck the parcel over a 6' high gate is plain laziness, or stupidity! I will open it in a second, let's hope it's not broken!!

5 days car hire from Brindisi

5 days car hire from Brindisi. I often rent a car from this airport and have used most of the car hire firms. Never particularly had anything special from any of the companies, so tend to look for the best price. On this occasion Sicily by Car was €412, Maggiore €650, Hertz and Avis over €700. No brainer to go with Sicily and save €200
