Poor customer service across the board

Poor customer service across the board. I booked my car in for service and MOT for same date. A few days beforehand the online check in notice came through and there was no mention of service! I rang them and they ‘agreed’ to add it in. I explained I have a service plan with them, but the person on phone couldn’t find it so quoted me the cost for my service despite me having correct ref numbers and paperwork for the plan. Prior to this I also had a recall notice so rang to see if that could be added in on the day of service. I was told no as not enough ‘recall gaps that day’ so booked it in for a month later. I was told during that call it wasn’t a rush to get the recall done - but I explained that it was an airbag safety issue so I pointed out that until it’s replaced there is a risk to any passengers in my car should it deploy / not deploy during any impact. Still unable to bring date for recall forward. On day of service they tell me they are doing the recall and can find no mention of a booking for it for the following month - presumably they cancelled that date without telling me. On the day, the agent I dealt with also couldn’t find my service plan but then said he was looking in the wrong place! On the whole a stressful experience for something which is very routine for a company like JLR and not the service I would expect from a premium car manufacturer. I have taken my service plan elsewhere now.
