Very disappointed with Cotswold Outdoors- loved the shops but not the online experience

I ordered an item on Friday 23rd Jan with a promise of Next Day Delivery. The item appears to have reached the courier Evri in time for next day delivery but since then I’ve been getting a message saying delayed and they will attempt to get the item out next day. After six days I was still getting same message. I contacted Cotswold Outdoors who advised they were looking into it and had asked Evri to send out item ASAP, to no avail. I have now been asked by Cotswold Outdoors to complete a declaration form for them to process the refund or replacement. This is very unsatisfactory as I have no printer and it can’t be done online. I bought and paid for goods in good faith and feel like I’m having to jump through hoops to get a refund!

Thank you for your response to my review. I have now also received information from your customer support team advising that I didn’t need to print form; this was after I contacted them following their initial advice which clearly stated the form did need to be printed. It would have been helpful to provide this option at the outset.

Thank you for your review. We’re sorry for the frustration caused by this delay and understand how disappointing it has been.

The declaration form does not need to be printed. Please contact our Customer Service team, as they will be able to help you complete the form online. This is required as part of the courier’s process before we can arrange a refund or replacement, and once it’s completed we’ll be able to move things forward as quickly as possible.
