This was my first experience with Zaxby's. I had been craving a competitor's chicken fingers and sauce but it was out of the way. So I decided to give Zaxby's a try. I ordered the 4 finger plate. I was shocked at how overly salty the fries were and then I tried the chicken...also TOO SALTY. And I like salt. But Geez Louise you need to know when to put that salt and/or seasoning shaker down! The Texas toast had an off taste like they used cooking oil instead of butter. Even the diet coke didn't taste right. The sauce was meh! I ended up eating a few fries and one finger and throwing everything including the coke away. I did eat the coIe slaw which was actually better than their competitor's. I won't be going back there again, EVER!

Come up to drive thru ordered a meal. Got to the window took my money. Then told me to pull up to get my food. Half hour later still no meal. Went in got money back.

It's too bad a restaurant doesn't get fined for poor quality and horrific customer service. I didn't know Zaxby's started serving nuggets instead of tenders. Is burnt toast a new menu item. Since when was a customer greeted with "Yeah, you got a problem" from the manager. Too bad there isn't a courtesy inspector like a health inspector.

I mean they're not even ashamed or trying hide the fact that they're exploiting the pandemic to skyrocket their prices!!!! 3 fingers is $9!!!! Small fingers at that. Man I can't wait for this country bankruptcy to end!! That's all this is.

One star is too much!!! Worst experience ever at Zaxby’s at the Palm Beach Outlets on Friday Oct. 15th at 1:30 pm. Took my order- didn’t have correct change and said “I owe you $2”! Never heard of not giving the correct change back to a customer when they pay and I had to remind her to give me the $2. Took over 30 minutes to get a one person order. Workers we walking around, not really doing anything and not expediting the orders. It was sheer chaos! Nobody knew what they we doing. Orders sat for awhile and workers were constantly opening the containers to see what food was in there which really freaked me out! So unsanitary. Others customers were complaining and asked for a refund. It was so bad. Corporate should go to this location cause it is not being managed. Had not been to a Zaxby’s in a while and thought I’d give it a try but I will never go back.

Zaxby are starting to camouflage the salads with fresh items on top but in the middle and bottom are all the pieces you normally throw out when making a salad..I have had the hulk or core of lettuce, wilted pieces, pieces that have turned brown.. its a rip off...they suck !!

i went through the drive through in spanish fort AL amd there was a sign apologizing for the increase in prices for the chicken wings. i look at the price snd it’s SIXTEEN DOLLARS. for one order?!? are you out of your minds?!? if this isn’t just this restaurant and it’s the whole chain y’all will be out of business within the year. i hope someone from HQ is reading these reviews but probably not since many are SO bad. I drove away and went to chick file instead.

I have had terrible customer service for the past two days at the Talladega, AL Zaxby’s. On the first day (yesterday), I was made to wait at the speaker for 6 minutes while they prepared my mobile order so that they could give it directly to me when I got to the window. Today, they were rude on the speaker when I asked for an item they did not have. When I got to the window, the woman at the register dropped my credit card and then she was extremely rude about me attempting to pick it up from the mud into which she dropped it and then she was rude when bringing my items to me. I generally go to Zaxby’s at least once a week if not more. I will not be returning to this location for quite a while. I am very unhappy with the service I have received.

Gibsonton FL. location. I had a mask on but my wife didn't. A young man behind the counter said you need to wear a mask. Then a young lady chimed in "we re trying to stop the spread". ok. No problem. She put the mask on. Ordered 2 chicken meals with French fries. ( I believe #2) . WHAT ? 25 DOLLARS? WHILE while we were waiting at least 10- no lie 10 other people walked in and NOT 1 had a mask on nor were they asked to put a mask on. Didn't see anyone cleaning tables or anything else. Food was nothing spectacular. NEVER AGAIN.

Just had Zaxby’s Southwest chicken salad. Maybe, one chicken finger was cut up on top. Lot’s of old white inedible iceberg lettuce, yuk. Very disappointing and low quality, they’re running an advertising promotion for this salad right now and that’s what they’re giving the customer. The family was excited but, I’ll steer away from Zaxby’s from now on! Hopefully, we don’t get sick!

Went to Zaxbys drive thru in Marianna Fl. I ordered Wings & Things with boneless wings & got Traditional which I don't like. The sauce was wrong too, not what I ordered. The tenders were tiny & fries were pale and soggy. I was picking up lunch to take back to work & asked if they put cutlery in the bag and they said yes but didn't & I had to eat everything with my fingers, no problem, I couldn't eat much of it anyway, it was so bad. I asked for salt & ketchup, didn't get either. Fries were not salted & were undercooked. Coke had been pre poured & was watered down from ice melting. High prices & bad food. You know its bad when I say I'd rather eat chicken McNuggets from McDonald's. I will not be back & they should refund my $$$.

The lady behind the counter licked her fingers after touching food. I'm sure its not the first time. The bathrooms were gross and the ice machine was a mess. The service was also slow even though there was only 1 other family there. I'm not usually one to complain but it could've been alot better.

Worst customer service ever!! Didn’t get my kids meal… spent $45.94 for the manager to hang up on me and refuse to give me her first name when I called back. First call I heard “everyone laughing and playing” in the background. Told the manager maybe that’s why my order was wrong. I was then hung up on “bc she didn’t have time for “this”. So now I’m out of a kids meal and my money for it!!
What happened to customer service??? It sucks!!!

I have had a fried house salad from 2 different Zaxby’s lately and they both were awful. The chicken was over cooked and dried out and I asked for no fried onions in one of them and they still put them in there. These 2 Zaxby’s are located in Columbus, Georgia. Hopefully this issue will get straightened out.

Will not be back to any Zaxbys again. They changed grilled chicken sandwich from honey mustard to mayo. Tastes terrible. Went back a month later and requested honey mustard instead of mayo and they still put mayo on sandwich and charged extra for the honey mustard. Also ordered chicken fingers with sweet & spicy sauce and they charged extra for that too. We are done with Zaxbys, Must of had some idiot take over management decisions during the pandemic scare. And as others have said in thier reviews , the fries are mush!!! We quit ordering them long ago, they just keep screwing up.

Absolutely horrible service and experience! While ordering i was told they only had enough chicken for two of the five number 4's i needed so i asked do you have more chicken or out totally? I was advised they had more but would be a 8 min wait. I said thats fine no problem i can wait.....so i get to window and get our five drinks and told to wait by sign. Husband tasted his drink and it was flat so i proceeded to taste mine and my kids drinks all flat. So i backup to window and inform them drink is flat guy at window in blue shirt said okay ill remake and bring them out. So he bought the drinks out and guess what they are flat! So cars are in line so i drive around back to window and ask hey did you make these from same machine blue shirt says yes, so i say its flat make a soda and taste it maybe it needs to be changed? He looks me dead in my face and says i dont care if my drink is flat or not I'm still going to drink it, it doesn't matter to me. I said well i would like some acid and taste to my drink can you get it from another machine? He says okay just pull up. well i waited from 9:51 pm until 10:28 pm thats 37 mins for five number 4's....finally blue shirt and another female come out with food and drinks...i check food and two orders have 3 bone in chicken wings each and rest are boneless. Then the other three orders are boneless. He tells me oh we don't have any bone in chicken so we did boneless. I told him i ordered 5 traditional number 4s and was told wait was 8 mins and this is boneless and yall didn't even tell me that yall were substituting my order and had i not looked i wouldve gotten home and been pissed! You dont just give me what you want and not say anything. Blue shirt then says well i can comp the three boneless meals so you can come back another time. I sid if you comp 3 you need to comp all 5 because two of them are boneless and traditional mixed together. Again not what i ordered... so he just stands there. At this point im annoyed so i ask for a full refund upon handing food back the bottom of the bag was damn near filled with sauce because the orders were turned on side to fit as if the containers dont have slits in them!! So i ended up with no food,had to go to McDonald's because everything closed because i sat for damn near 40 mins waiting on a order that wasnt what i ordered!! sauce over my floor and clothes!! No professionalism, no customer service and definitely didnt provide resolution.....

I visted the Huntsville, Al store located on N. Parkway near University Drive. What I ordered: Two four-finger plates, one buffaloed, one unswet tea and one coke zero, no ice. What I gave you: $18.29. What you gave me: One chicken finger plate (cold fingers and the fries were stiff, they were so old); One chef salad; one unsweet tea and a Dr Pepper no ice. Thanks for a terrible dining experience.

The service was exceptional the food came out fast the food was really good exceptional barbecue sauce and fries when I asked for all flats fried hard they didn't execute that part and we had some onlookers lurking uncomfortably while we were eating that was uncomfortable I would eat there again

Updated review: I’ll never eat at Zaxby’s again until they get a brand new crew of people. I can’t believe these employees are referred to as “essential” because at least where I’m at, they’re lazy and incompetent. My food was cold thanks to those fools not telling the carhop that the food was ready. I could’ve went through the drive-thru. At least my food would’ve been hot. It also didn’t have a lot of boneless wings so ultimately it was a waste of money. I’ve complained to corporate but I don’t think they’ll respond to me. At this point I just don’t see how fast food workers are essential. They aren’t doing their jobs and fast food as a whole isn’t essential to our bodies. Whatever though.

Why is the new signature chicken sandwich only at selected/limited locations? That’s so freaking lame. One star for that.

I’m still waiting for my food. And I’m pissed. This damn chicken place has horrible service. Another car just got there food before me that was behind me and they had a bigger order than me. 5 damn chicken fingers. Here they come amen
