Sole cracked after 4 months
Sole cracked after 4 months, no help from store or Skechers Spain
Bought Skechers sandals from Mayka Sneakers (Zeina Boulevard, Alicante) on 13 April 2026 for €59.99. Within 4 months of light use, the sole cracked and separated at the front — a clear manufacturing defect, not wear and tear. I emailed the store with photos and payment proof. They insisted I visit the shop in person — not realistic, as I live in Ireland and only visit Spain occasionally. I then contacted Skechers Spain directly, who told me to go back to the store. Both sides have simply redirected me to the other, with no actual resolution offered. Poor product quality for a reputable brand, and a customer service runaround that leaves a cross-border customer with nowhere to go. Escalating to the European Consumer Centre (ECC).
