Learning on the job is one think, but pure incompetence is another, essentially a great scam, be prepared to lose your money. Not one investor has managed to get their initial capital back from this company. Halal, ethical, transparent, Yielders is none of this, once you hand your money over you will forever be chasing for updates to only find they need a bit more, hence the great scam. Avoid at all costs.

I have an investment in one of the SPV which was sold but the funds have not been returned to investors. No response to emails or IMs and phone line unavailable. I would advise others to keep away from this.

I feel as though this is a fraudulent company. Tried several times to invest and it "failed" every time. I have tried to get my funds back and absolutely no one emails back, their phone number is "unavailable" and no one replies at all on their web chat. I have made a formal complaint and will go the Financial Ombudsman Service if they do not reply asap.

Useless, will be lucky to get our money back. Essentially learning on the job at your expense. Written off the investment!

I had high hopes when I invested in a property through Yielders in 2018 but can only conclude that this is an amateur service. Yielders promises to provide a halal means of gaining exposure to returns from rental property, yet 3 years on I somehow find myself sitting on a large loss on investment.

I invested a not insignificant amount of money into a property with a 3-year investment term "ending" in Q2 this year. While I had received monthly income as promised throughout the term, I did not receive my principal as advertised. I am therefore sitting on a 80%+ loss! When the property was supposed to be sold, I was told that the sale would be delayed by a couple of months due to the purchaser's "extensive due diligence" (somewhat of a red flag). A month or so later, I was told that the sale fell through (surprise surprise) and the company would look to relist the property at what appeared to be a higher price (which is baffling given the sale didn't occur the first time round). The latest update was that the property had a few viewings but no interest and the estate agent recommended giving the property a" thorough clean" to make it more marketable (you didn't clean the place? Seriously?). I have since grown tired of their excuses and general lack of a material update on the sale hence decided to write this review.

I now have no certainty as to whether or not I will receive my money let alone when. Even if a sale goes through at the end of the year, my capital would have been tied up for far longer than promised. The property was one of the first offered by Yielders to have gone through its investment horizon; it may well be the case that others are also waking up to the prospect of not having their principal returned to them as Yielders struggle to sell their properties when agreed. If you want to tie up your money for years and lose most of it at the end of the term (worst case) or get it back with a small annualised return far later than agreed (best case) then this is the investment service for you. You have been warned.

Yielders has been a great choice for making halal investments, hassle free and transparent. Their exceptional customer service really makes a difference to my experience with Yielders. I look forward to making more investments in the near future.

I was initially sceptical about using this service as I thought it would be unnecessary, and unattainable - I have never been so wrong! The Yielders team was very helpful and explained everything in plenty of detail, but without taking too much time. I'm not usually all that comfortable on the phone but I really rate the level of service, even as somebody who has invested in other products. In addition, the text and email confirmations are helpful and the site gives me great clarity in my investments.

Their Top Yielders service for build to sell is very very bad leaving investors losing a lot of money. Their lack of maturity, experience, and good governance left investors exposed. Their largest properties failed to deliver for months and months. Lack of governance over developers and 3rd party assessors. Weakness in negotiations with parties to get outcomes to investors. Lack of trust of Yeilders as the narrative keeps changing. Rental income is equally failing. While the Covid situation is not helping, investors were the first to sacrifice and first to lose. Stay away or better to run away.

While I do understand the impact COVID has played an impact on the dividend over the last few months, common decency would merit this platform to allow existing investors to re-list their holdings without charging them a £50 fee.

Many large companies have set up initiatives to give their customers the best experience possible. Tech companies have given they customers free months on their subscriptions as a way to adapt to these trying times.

The fact that this platform still charges a £50 re-listing fee despite customers getting a 'bad' experience from the fall in dividends doesn't seem principled to me at all.

I have been investing with Yielders for about a year and have gradually built up a decent portfolio of investments. They offer a great shariah compliant product which is accessible to the small investor. I like the fact that it is a simple and straightforward process and that all charges are outlined in the faqs or in the SPV document that needs to be downloaded and read before investing. The staff are helpful on the phone and respond to enquiries by email.
Due to the Covid situation some of the properties have not provided the expected returns but that is out of Yielders control and I appreciate that they send an advance warning of any possible arrears in the rent. They also mention this on any relisted shares so that an investor knows exactly what they are getting into. I feel that this risk sharing is actually a positive aspect as the product feels more shariah compliant as a result compared to other Islamic products out there at the moment.
I would like to see a more steady stream of products on offer so that there are a choice of investments available at any one time. I do think that currently the demand outstrips supply but hopefully this will change once we get a grip on this pandemic and the market returns to a more normal footing.

I felt a need to write my review as i disagree with the previous reviewer regarding the fee structure. It just requires someone to take the time to read the articles & documentation provided first. Sometimes the fees are not completely broken down and if that is the case I have had no problem emailing for further clarity.

The company is not transparent about the fees they charge to investors. There is no mention of this on the website, nor were they clear when attempts were made to get this clarified on social media.

The fees they are charging investors throughout the entire investment should be clear for everyone. A lot of naive Muslims will invest and then get their rightful profits eaten away by "admin charges" and "management fees".

I invite Yielders to post their exact fees on this website and their own.

I've followed yielders from the beginning and believe they are pioneering the islamic investment market, providing sophisticated investors and normal retail individuals fantastic opportunities which would not normally be accessible.

The returns have been delivered every month of the 18 months i have invested capital with yielders and have steadily increased my investments through regular monthly savings. I pray Allah swt blesses this venture and makes it successful as yielders et al are much needed in the islamic investment/ethical investment space.

I was on the look out to find truly halal investments. I thought shares on the stock market would do but I was reluctant on the conditions that some scholars set to define a halal stock from a haram one. And I found Yielders...

I have invested £1250 initially to see how it would go and I am truly satisfied by their service, professionalism and curtesy. I am looking to invest more as I would want Yielders to grow and become a successful fintech offering their services to both muslim and non-muslim alike wishing to invest ethically (without the intervention of banks!).

That is the power of the crowd through crowdfunding! May Allah make you successful in your endeavour. I am sharing amongst my friends to make sur that it happens.

Excellent service, best and personal attention by the staff. The staff is so friendly and always there to help. Returns exceeds the expected profits. Ease of use and variety of analysis available to see the returns on the investment. Furthermore, the option of sale of investments through relisted properties is best option if someone wants to sell the investments before maturity.

There aren't many options for Muslims looking for truly Halal investment opportunities but the Yielders proposition is simple and easy to understand - I share the ownership and therefore the returns from a property or mix of properties and get paid my proportion of rent every month...........simple!
The fact that the returns on offer are better than most non-Shariah compliant investments is amazing. I started with £100 to test them out and am now in for thousands. So far so good.
