Yeah this place is a scam, plus I got the wrong order from these morons yet they sent it to me 3 times repeated. I returned one and got a full refund but these idiots don't know what they're doing 🙄

Worthpoint Refused To Remove A Private Transaction

I purchased a rare intricate miniature altar from an English Antique Shop. Later, someone told me that the same item was now featured in Worthpoint. I called them from Europe and asked to take the item from site, since I said explicitly said that the purchased must not be shown including the price. No one was picking up the phone. The call were made EST thus 6 hours behind CET. Emails were sent but to no avail. Then my friend who saw the item also complained that his card was still charged by the company despite of cancellation. He was forced to cancel the card.
Avoid Worthpoint because their main aim is to scam collectors. The Call Agents were incompetent and the group had simply no guts in taking money.

Charged $270 for two lookups

I looked up something in February 2025. I called to cancel and spoke with someone and they said I was cancelled. However that did not process and they continued to charge my account $28.99 every month for 9 months. I just caught this on my statement and called to cancel again and get a refund for the 9 months that I did not use their services and the person said there was no call to cancel and no email, note they are on Eastern standard time and don’t answer the phone past their business hours. The person said they would give me one month refund, and after I asked again stating I hadn’t used the service for 9 months ahead said maybe they could go back two months and I asked to verify that they were ok with charging me 7 months worth of payments after I had canceled and they didn’t make record of it and cancel me like they should have and ahead responded yes and even though I told her this would be included my review of their company, she did not care at all. They WOULD RATHER STEAL YOUR MONEY LIKE A THIEF IN THE NIGHT THAN HAVE AN UPSTANDING COMPANY REPUTATION. The services def weren’t worth 2 lookups for $270 of my money. What a scam.

While we are firm on our cancellation policy, we were still happy to help with a partial refund on that call, and the agent was able to provide a three-month refund for your trouble on 10/22/25.


Our free trial is intended for first-time users to explore our service and is limited to 7 days or 7 lookups, whichever comes first. We've noticed that your activity suggests you may be attempting to use the trial for multiple instances.

I absolutely love Worthpoint!

I absolutely love Worthpoint! I use their "Price Guide" for my research. I can go back as far as 10 years and up to the current sale of an item to see what it has sold for. I use Worthpoint on a daily basis and could not do without it. I have used Worthpoint approximately 2 years and will continue to use it.

When or if I do run into a problem the staff at Worthpoint have always been courteous and extremely helpful. Any problem I had was always resolved right away. Excellent service!

It will not show you what you want for…

It will not show you what you want for example I take a picture of a Greyhounds racing it shows me horses. Then you go to delete the app and cancel your prescription and it will not let you and then I'll have problems getting a hold of customer service I'm afraid I'm going to have to cancel my checking account that I have it hooked to just to get rid of them my point is if I could give them less than a one star I would.

States free trial but not free at all. They charge you there a then.
I signed up for the free trail… but I was refused due to no funds being available. The site states you will only be chatged after 7 days or after your first 7 searches. So this is false information, they tried to take a charge. Other reviews shows free trails are not real. Wish I’d checked here first, as now they have my card details… cancelling my card is my next step.

Fraudulent Charges

Signed up for 7 free searches / 7 days promotion. Used 3 searches, and decided that it didn’t fit my needs. I cancelled subscription. During cancellation website would not load cancellation page repeatedly despite all other pages/links working. Finally was able to cancel. The account now confirms that I have “ No paid subscription.” This was three months ago and they are still charging me every month. I just sent my second communication, the first was ignored. Do not trust this company with your financial information.

The second, cherryxxxxxxxxxxxx@gmail.com, was created on March 8, 2025. This subscription was not canceled during its 7-day or 7-lookup free trial and became active on March 15, 2025.

It appears recent logins to the older wdfxxxx@xxxxx.com account caused confusion, as the active cherryxxxxxxxxxxxx@gmail.com subscription hasn't been accessed since its creation on March 8, 2025.

To confirm, the wdfxxxx@xxxxx.com account was accessed for cancellation purposes, while the cherryxxxxxxxxxxxx@gmail.com subscription remained unused after being created.

We understand how this could be confusing. The cherryxxxxxxxxxxxx@gmail.com account is now canceled, and we've issued a refund. Please contact us if you have any future login issues or questions.

Signed up for free trial- bad move.

Signed up for free trial. No way to cancel subscription, the pages freeze and you can not navigate the site. Emailed customer service, no response. I have blocked my credit card to stop them charging me. Waste of my time and very inconvenient. I’m not the only one with this problem.

This company is a rip off do not waste your money. I bought coverage for three devices and when my phone got destroyed they denied the claim. No I'm in battle with them to honor their commitment. This company is a scam.

I did a 7 day trial

I did a 7 day trial, which required you to put in payment details. However no option to cancel and when I go into my account there is no subscription, yet got an email charging a monthly fee. No reply to emails. Had to cancel through PayPal (thankfully). But I want my money refunded.
Update
26 Feb. Email reply was received with a note to say they will refund. PayPal confirmed. So I guess they are not bad at all.

Not good but better than nothing?

I continually find it lacking past sales that should be present. For anything that is not semi-common or better, it is very hit or miss. Disappointing considering it can't do its only job very well. Better than nothing though so have to still give it two stars.

I tried their free 7 day trial. I didn't want to continue so I clicked on Cancel Subscription but got no confirmation. I sent them an email, no response. Fortunately I used Paypal and was able to cancel the subscription that way. Dishonest company.

Expensive but worth the price

Though quite an expensive service, as a collector & seller of fine majolica, antique, & vintage china, as well as sports memorabilia, the information provided by Worthpoint is well worth the price.
