A Nightmare at Crest Cadillac in Brookfield, Wi
This review is solely on Crest Cadillac in Brookfield, Wisconsin. This place was just terrible for purchasing a car. We came in with financing in hand with a check for $20'000 and a trade of a 2023 CT4 Cadillac with less than 15,000 miles in mint condition. We were attempting to purchase a used 2025 Xt6. The Salesperson, Business Manager and GM treated us like dirt. They were disrespectful and totally unprofessional. They made us feel like scamners. The first redflag was the Salesperson tried to sell us the vehicle for almost $3000 over the advertised price of $44,900! After that we finally realized they didn't understand how to proceed with financing from our Credit Union even after the Navy Federal staff tried several times to explain to them. They still didn't get it! In our opinion, the Business Manager didn't know what he was doing! NF attempted several times to explain to him that it was not necessary to collect a $25'000 payoff from us on our tradein because the payoff for the tradein had already been rolled into the new deal with NF where both vehicles were financed! Crest still didn't get it!! Most shocking was that after we signed the check over to them they still kept the newly purchased vehicle because they assumed Navy Federal CU wouldn't send the title to them. They insisted that we leave without our newly purchased vehicle even after NF assured them the title would be released to them after they deposited the check! This place was totally awful!! They actually instructed their sales staff to remove our license plates from the newly purchased vehicle and place them back on our old car until the received the title! Even with over $20'000 in hand!!! This was degrading and embrassing to my family and me! Had we have not signed the check over to them and all the paperwork, we would have ran away from this Nightmare immediately! We finally got our car several days later however NF had to provide a special title release letter for them. They remained unprofessional failing to answer our email messages to them. In our opinion, their conduct bordered on racism and incompetence. This was totally unethical and unprofessional conduct at it best! As a disable military veteran. We are asking all to think twice before using this dealership in Brookfield, Wisconsin. Beware!!! Nightmare at Crest Cadillac in Wisconsin
