Disregard for the day of my mum's funeral

Williamson solicitors are acting on behalf of my ex husband I made his solicitor aware that my mum's funeral was the 23rd January and the times etc I had nothing but emails sent from the solicitors secretary regarding the divorce , the solicitor is aware of vulnerable emotionally and mentally both myself and my children are ,,,, when I replied I couldn't deal with it right now due to my mum's funeral the reply was " you have got the weekend" whilst I appreciate things need to happen there are ways to deal with things especially when someone is dying or has died . This law firm lacks people skills empathy and a lack of understanding at how grief death effects people I don't just have to deal with my emotions but also that of my 2, children one of whom has autism, mentally health and other disabilities which again this firm is fully aware of

During my child’s case left child at serious risk

During my child’s case, this firm failed to take essential safeguarding actions and did not secure vital evidence when they had the opportunity to do so. These omissions had significant consequences for the progress and safety of the case. As a result, my child was left without the protection and timely intervention that should have been provided.

These are not minor administrative issues — they are serious failures in professional responsibility that had a direct impact on my child’s wellbeing.

Anyone seeking representation should be aware of how critical safeguarding actions and evidence handling are, and should ensure that any firm they instruct can meet those responsibilities consistently and competently.

Not impressed at all

Not impressed at all. Took 12 weeks to bury a relative due to their procrastination and delays. Not all their fault but they didn't help. The mortuary had to phone them in the end to tell them to get a move on.

Do not contact this law firm. I would give 0 stars if I could.

I find it outrageous that I sent them my material on the afternoon of Friday 05/07/2024, and then on Monday 08/07/2024 they wrote that they would not accept the case because they did not see any problems. They did not even look at the documents I gave, approx. 400 pages, that much time was not enough. They only collect data and information and waste people's time, they don't care that the doctors are ruining people's health.

I am still awaiting a response in regards to my complaint...

I am still awaiting a response from them in regards to my complaint. It has been 3 weeks. If I could rate them 0 I would. I have sent my complaint 3 times now to Emma Suthers and Neil Waterhouse... resent for 4th and 5th time today and yet to receive any further response. They are ignoring me and saying they did not get my email. Emma chose to ignore my further 3 emails today after replying to me -- today!! and Emma knows I am pregnant and that this matter is causing me distress. All they want is money and I am seeking financial compensation from them. I would NOT recommend... They say youll get 30 minutes to speak with your Solicior before Court... you don't. You give them all the documentation you want mentioned in court, they don't contain it all. At all. If I don't have a response back from them as URGENT then I will be taking it further. I am aware of the turnaround times to adhere to re Ombudsman and the first action I am required to take which is to contact the Solicitors first for a resolution. 3 weeks later... still nothing. DO NOT USE THESE.
£600 I paid for a matter I could have dealt with entirely and securely myself but I put my trust into THESE. and for what???

I wish to dispute the £600 Solicitor Fee I paid to Williamsons Solicitors; I feel I could have collected all of this information together myself (which I did and provided to them but only bits had been stated by them) and therefore believe I could have defended and supported myself alot better than they did because of above mentioned. They may be professionals and I wholeheartedly respect their line of work but this was a huge part of my personal life that has been stripped from me and all information I provided was not presented to the magistrates nor did the 30 minute talk take place, resulting in misleading hope and lack of information/communication and therefore neglect as I had previously been told by the solitors that all information I put to them in email was packed into my case.

A great firm with an exceptional conveyancing department, especially Richard Fairbank and his assistant Natalie Burns who are both always extremely pro-active and professional.

This firms medical negliegnce …

This firms medical negligence department showed complete incompetence. I would advice all thinking of using them to think again. This firm caused me and my Doctors nothing but carnage.

I would say this to Williamsons solicitors, stop trying to sue the NHS whilst misleading people about the carnage you can cause, you pitt the NHS aganst patients, you damage patient-doctor relationships without a care in the world, you mess up medical ethics and in the end you clearly do not care about the damage you do, you then just brush the carnage to one side and move on to another poor claiment.

Brilliant Service

We have changed to Williamsons after an appalling experience with the previous solicitors we were recommended for our conveyancing.

We are FTB’s and so we’re new to the whole process, but I have to say just in the last week since we have changed what a difference! Friendly staff and easy to contact and very forthcoming with information.

We are very impressed with the service we have received so far! Long may it continue.
