William Leigh scam
Have just received jacket and shirt from this Chinese company. Their web site is constructed so as to mislead source of goods.
The XL shirt and jacket are too small, the cotton is polyester.
Another scam i'm afraid.
Please please do NOT buy from this…
Please please do NOT buy from this website. It’s all a con. They are a fraudulent company!! Closing down their previous company and reopening this. Previous one was ashford and Clarke look them up!! Facebook and instagram should also be informed of these scammers. They will not take back their returns and they offer money back which you get. Just terrible. How do you stop these scammers
is there no consumer protection on Social Media
Have not received my order and I did see these reviews until now. I am assuming it to late to do anything about, and according to the reviews I am not sure I even want it now! Just wish I would have seen these reviews prior to being scammed
AWFUL Products and Company
I also would like to be able to give several negative stars!
Their website is entirely false advertising!
My advise is that you DO NOT order anything from them.
Their return policy on the bottom is also FALSE!!!
I feel I have been scammed
I feel I have been scammed, the quality is not as described and nothing like the advertised pictures, cheap made in china rubbish and the size much too small.
Absolutely fraudulent company...
Absolutely fraudulent...100% Cashmere means 100% cheap chinese polyester. Go elswhere...
If I could give less than one star....
If I could give less than one star I would. This company advertises garments made from cotton and linen, “hand-sewn in a London workshop” with 55 years of heritage. None of that is true.
The items I received are polyester, clearly machine-stitched, and of extremely low quality. They feel like mass-produced fast fashion, not handcrafted luxury items.
After investigating further, the business is actually operating out of Hong Kong, not London, as implied in their branding and marketing. This is highly misleading and shows a clear intent to deceive buyers.
The product delivered does not match the description, photos, or origin claims on the website. This is classic bait-and-switch advertising.
I would not recommend purchasing from this company.
Buyers beware.
Avoid like the plague this company is…
Avoid like the plague this company is operating a Chinese scam I purchased a jacket from them absolute rubbish material wrong size complete disaster they have nothing to do with a tailors shop in London only a sweat shop in back street Hong Kong
Just another scam
Just another scam. I wasn't sure at first, but soon realized I was right. Don't waste your money or time with this website. Looks nothing the like the website images.
Absolute ripoff -DO NOT BUY
Absolute ripoff piggy backing off an English looking reputable company , preying on English vulnerabilities and receiving low quality poorly made Chinese rubbish which looks good in the photos but is absolutely nothing like the clothing you receive. The advert states hand made in London BUT the company is in Hong Kong so if you buy and want to return the items - you pay to return to Hong Kong not London as per the advert. PayPal should be ashamed to be part of this rip off.
TOTAL SCAM- DONT BUY
I ordered items because it was showing as a proper advertisement in reputed Newspaper here in NZ but it is a COMPLETE SCAM. I haven't got my ordered items yet and they dont have refund policy.
If I could I’d give them zero stars
If I could I’d give it zero stars. A total rip off. The jacket advertised on Facebook was nothing like the item I received. I ordered a sturdy looking field jacket and what I got was a flimsy over shirt that didn’t even look like the item advertised.
I would rate less than 1 star
I would rate less than 1 star. I ordered a military Vietnam era jacket type in 3XL. What I received was a green shirt, maybe a large, made in Hong Kong, and looking nothing like what was advertised. Do not buy from them!
Don't walk. RUN!
This company's appealing online presentation is clearly deceptive.
The actual products do not even remotely match the phenomenal visual descriptions, the material is misrepresented, the quality cheap and shoddy, plus the sizing is horrifically inaccurate.
Upon ordering three items and waiting three weeks, only two arrived, then "William Leigh" has the unmitigated gall to charge for the entire order, without actually fulfilling the third item.
Don't be an idiot like me, read the fine print if you think you'll simply be able to return this garbage.
Given everything is a sale item, you'll own their polyester crap and be sh*t out of luck.
Hey Google! Shame on you too! Dump this sinister rip-off of an advertiser!
Words of wisdom I wished I'd followed folks..."If it looks too good to be true, it probably is."
I wish I had visited this website to…
I wish I had visited this website to learn about these scammers from so many deceived people. They advertise a 2.0I tracksuit made of 100% cashmere, which I bought as cashmere, but received 100% polyester, very low quality and terribly smelly. This is a scam, and if I don't get my money back, I will report William Leigh for criminal activity.
Ordered 2 jackets, too small
Ordered 2 jackets, XL. My size everyday. Selling in North America but sizing for Asians.
No easy way to return anything, want you to ship to Hong Kong, then they will look at refunding you. Avoid at all costs
Don’t be scammed.
I’ve been totally taken for a ride. I ordered a jacket and a shirt from what I thought was a legit company. My order took ages to arrive and when it did the quality was dreadful. The jackets label was cut out. I ask the question why!! Offered a 5% refund or 50% of my next order. Why would I ever order from this company ever again. Take it from me do your research.

Chinese company using the guise of an established English company who were retiring and needed to sell all their products.
It has taken 19 days for the jacket to arrive . I ordered an extra large and at best what I received would be a large. I’m not at all happy with the quality of the jacket and will be taking it to the charity shop tomorrow.
I guess you get what you pay for, lesson learned.
