I’ve recently made an online order which was split into two. The first of the order arrived already and to my surprise the skirting I’ve ordered was completely different style and colour. The delivery driver didn’t speak English so couldn’t come into conclusion with him. He’s taken the wrong items with him and stupidly marked that order has been delivered as it was supposed. He couldn’t answer my question what will happen next, he didn’t understand when I’ve asked if I need to sigh something that delivery is incorrect. He was ignoring whatever I was saying as simply had no clue what I ask him. He decided he will grab the incorrect skirting and will take with him and leave me without any knowledge. I’ve raised issue over the online forms and being sent automated emails only for more details and I’m giving same information over and over again. Customer service over the phone doesn’t exist as haven’t happened yet that anyone picked up the phone and I’ve been calling since Friday and we’re on late Monday now. You cannot reply to Emails that I’m being sent to confirm that I’ve already sent them all the info they’ve asked for, as then get reply that that email is no longer used and to go online and fill complain form again. How can you actually get a refund from Wickes when it seems like a bad joke at the moment.

The Exeter branch were extremely helpful. Sophie went out or way to assist me with my order. Exceptional customer service. On my previous visits I have struggled however this visit renewed my trust in wicks thank you 👍👍👍

I had a great experience shopping at Wickes. I only went in to buy a few tester pots, and although the store was very busy, every member of staff was friendly, welcoming, and happy to help.

Top notch help
The two assistants didn’t just take it that there wasn’t any of the product I wanted on the shelf …. They checked store stock and that it was correct . Sebastian then rounded trough metal cages in the warehouse until he found what I wanted . Many other assistants elsewhere should have dismissed it and not bothered . Thanks Danny & Sebastian . Bathroom conversion
I needed advice on converting my bathroom to a walk-in shower or wet room. I booked online at Wickes and received an appointment the following day. Ryan Moore visited and gave me ideas I had not thought of before. Ryan was friendly, polite and very knowledgeable. I am due to attend an appointment at the store to see the layout on their CAD system when I will be given prices. So far I am impressed with the process.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Ordered fence panels, concrete posts, gravel boards and postcrete to be delivered on a Saturday for a project on Sunday. 4 fence panels turned up. A knock on the door to say "here you go bye". My partner and I were confused. Where is the rest of the order? After countless phone calls trying to track the other items down we finally got someone to tell us the other fence panels were damaged or broken. Ok no problem it happens... But what about the rest of the items? I guess no one wants to work particularly hard Saturday mornings, so they just didn't load them up. We were told there was nothing they could do even though the items were in stock at bracknell and slough. No one would deliver them as they had no more delivery slots (bare in mind we had paid for a delivery slot they just hadn't loaded half the items). They were perfectly good condition (my partner went to the store to check the stock) as well as being told by the customer service agent they had plenty in stock. In the end we collected some post crete from store, we organized with a different supplier to pick up concrete posts and gravel boards so Sunday morning we asked them to cancel these from the order and only drop off the remainder of the fence panels. They had said this would be done on Monday. Monday is here and I've just got off the phone again, this time with the slough store as they changed who was going to fulfill the order.... only to find out they never placed the order for the 4 fence panels just cancelled the whole order (however only refunded us for the posts, gravel boards and postcrete) so still having paid for the fence panels. Now the slough store have only just placed the order. We shall see if they ever turn up..... Poor service. Poor communication and just downright disappointing.

Fish and Ron...BEST!
It is almost impossible NOT to find the stuffs I needed over the years, dealing with WICKES (Loughton). Their extensive range of product simply makes it an inevitable one stop shop for most of my building and home DIY products. The prices are very competitive and being local to me, I would not want to travel any further than necessary. The staffs are always kind and willing to assist where possible. This is especially true with the store Manager, Fish and the deputy, Ron who are always at hand to provide excellent customer service and care. Highly recommended.

We are so happy with our new kitchen from Wickes! Huge thank you to Marius who took the time to talk us through and show us all of the options available, and listened as we worked out what would be best. His ability to change the design to best suit our needs gave us the personalised touch to make the kitchen most functional for our lifestyle. This was the first company we got a quote from, and we just kept coming back from other quotes wishing it was more like Marius’ design! The experience of working with Marius was the driving decision behind us choosing Wickes for our kitchen, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. I will be recommending Marius and Wickes to all of my friends and family for their future home improvements!

Great Customer Service
I don't normally leave reviews, but I really wanted to for Tracey at the Handsworth Wickes branch because the service she gave was genuinely outstanding. From the moment I spoke to her, she was friendly, patient, and happy to help. She took the time to answer my questions and made sure I found exactly what I needed without making me feel rushed.
It's rare to come across customer service like that these days, and she really made my visit to the Handsworth branch a positive experience. Tracey is an absolute credit to the team, and I hope she gets the recognition she deserves. Thank you again for all your help!

Wouldn't recommend Nigel at the Blackpool store.
We had an appointment booked for 1pm at the Blackpool Wickes store. Unfortunately, due to traffic we didn't arrive in store until 1.07pm. At this point Nigel was sat with two customers discussing their requirements for a kitchen. Okay, we were a little late so he was dealing with other customers. I completely understand, that's fine, but we felt it would have been polite if he could have excused himself for a moment to acknowledge us. After approx 15 minutes, Nigel finished with the other customers, then promptly disappeared for an additional couple of minutes. When he returned their was no apology for running now almost half an hour late. His demeanour was nonchalant from the get go. We sat down, explained what we wanted, which was 6 units to make a home office. Nigel isn't the greatest listener and needed reminding a couple of times of which units we wanted. After clicking away and mentioning several times we weren't having enough units to activate discounts, he showed us a price over £2500, which was before fitting or worktops were discussed. He then asked if he should continue quoting. We will never return to wickes after this dissapointing experience. We felt very discriminated against because we didn't want a full fitted kitchen and our business wasn't worth his time. We then went to another local well known d.i.y store (without an appointment) and were given a price just over £1400 including a worktop for the same design and door quality (wrapped MDF). It truly makes me wonder if the £2500 price was accurate or just a way to get rid of us. Guess we'll never know, just a hunch.
