Avoid this company.
Wasteland Travel Company will try to squeeze extra money out of you at every opportunity. Once they’ve got your payment, don’t expect much in the way of customer service. The reps on site come across as uninterested and unhelpful — more focused on their own apres and skiing than supporting customers.
That said, the bigger issue is the company itself. Communication is poor, the organisation is chaotic, and dealing with their office is frustrating from start to finish. Their website barely works properly, which makes even simple tasks unnecessarily difficult.
Overall, the experience feels disorganised and transactional, with very little care for the people actually paying for the trip. I wouldn’t recommend booking with them.

It was a great experience with friends, the hotels location was great and the whole trip was well priced. The reps were amazing and nice special thanks to lulu for being so helpful. Our coach reps Aggie Rosie Liam and felix were amazing too and gave us a great coach journey.

I had a brilliant week skiing in VT
I had a brilliant week skiing in Val Thorens with Wasteland Travel, made even better by our fantastic rep, Imogen Lightning. She was friendly, organised, and always happy to help from start to finish. Imogen gave great advice on skiing, local spots, and logistics, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Her positive attitude really added to the holiday and made everything run smoothly. I’d highly recommend Wasteland Travel and Imogen — an amazing experience all round.

My trip to VT in January with WLT was truly excellent. Everything ran smoothly- I was particularly impressed with arrivals day. Keys were ready on the dot at 6pm and with over 1000 passengers in resort I was very impressed with this. My room rep and media rep Daisy Whitlie was very helpful and attentive. Answering all our questions and taking many excellent pictures throughout the week. Huge thank you to Annie for stepping in for Swales. We hope to travel with you again in the future

Best time of our lives - even ChatGPT couldn’t write a good enough of a review so this one’s on me. Could not have asked for a better time. You might think wow this review seems over the top but I’m just too happy what can I say. Our rep Leon you were spectacular and soooo helpful and lovely - keep being a wonderful man!
