Will take your money and make you wait

They are refusing to issue the refund even though they cancelled the order. Saying EU law allows them to take two weeks.

Avoid them.

I ordered the item as showing in stock and delivery in 2 to 5 days after 5 days the item still had not been shipped they informed they had closed the shop for a week so I requested a cancellation and now they are saying I have to wait 14 days to get the refund

Thanks for the review — though we’d prefer 5 stars over 5 misunderstandings. 😅

You placed an order just before our brief store holiday (which was clearly noted on the website - add to it the Easter). When you requested a cancellation, we processed it immediately. As per EU law and our Terms & Conditions, refunds take 2–14 days to appear — not because we’re mean, but because banks and payment processors move at the speed of a dial-up modem from 1998.

We’re definitely not in the business of holding anyone’s money for fun — we sell synths, not suspense. 🎹

PURE STRESS !!!!!!

Communication !! Communication !!

When you buy online don’t believe the date to delivery. My order will be deliver in 2 weeks they write/ says. ONLY my order I get it in 4 weeks!!! No communication from Volt musicstore.
I have to call multiple times to stay in contact. PURE STRESS, PURE STRESS !!!! About my €1.600,00. No delivery date when they come to your house. Just one mail after 3 weeks with a track number. No track and trace found online.

This company is not good in online sale.

We’re truly sorry this caused you stress. Delays are never our intention, but sometimes they happen — especially in the one and only music store left on Earth, where everyone wants the same gear and to save a few hundred euros at the same time. 😉

Estimated delivery dates are just that — estimates. This is clearly mentioned on our site and in our Terms & Conditions. While we do our best to communicate, we admit we could’ve done better here.

We’re always reachable, and glad you stayed in contact. We're improving every day — even thanks to reviews like yours — and we hope you’ll give us another shot in the future (preferably with a bit less CAPS LOCK).

No response

On the website, it states that the item (in my case, a guitar pedal) is in stock with an expected delivery date. However, when that delivery date listed on the website is not met and you inquire about the status, you receive no response whatsoever. Not via the website (no reply), WhatsApp (no reply, though the message was read), phone (unreachable), or the listed email address. I would be happy to update my review once I receive any form of response, but so far, I have found the communication to be far from customer-friendly.

Update April 22: I received a whatsapp message with apologies for the delay and a promise to provide me with an update tomorrow about the delivery. To be continued!

Final update April 24: Received my refund after a good conversation via whatsapp. Don’t think there were any bad intentions in the end, but communication can definitely be improved!

Very poor service

Very poor service, they do not send the goods, and do not respond to messages at all. They also state that they have a 4.5 rating on Trust Pilot, which of course is a fabrication.

Bad ... don't buy there!

I had a terrible back and forth with a person working there. For three weeks, my order that should have been same day delivery was not shipped. I had the worst expectation since there are some other negative reviews here. I even received a call from that person that was not inspiring confidence to say the least!

In the end I received my order, but I got it after telling them I would inform local police. And now that I have a problem with the invoice due to tax reasons, they declined any help.

Misinformation and excuses

You'll notice 3 things on Volt's website. Discounted prices, many in-stock items and a seal of approval from TrsutedShops. Sounds good, right? Don't trust any of it. The store won't even come up on TrustedShop's search.

I ordered the Oberheim Teo-5, the website said 5-7 working days to deliver. 14 days later, silence. I emailed them and 2 days later I get a reply saying that there are supply issues and they're understaffed and they're busy and if I could be a little more patient they'll update the order. The guy was nice, I'll give him that. A few days later, more silence. I asked to cancel the order and got a full refund a few days later. So far so good.

Because the guy was so nice and the refund went smoothly, I thought they deserve another chance. This time I called, because I saw the Trigon-6 module as "in-stock" and ready to be shipped immediately and since their "5-7 working days" promise went south I found it difficult to fully trust them. A very distracted guy picked up although he was cordial and helpful. He said that it's not really "in-stock" (shocker) but needs to be shipped from Germany and that would take 2-3 business days. "Can I trust this?" I asked, "yes" he said. I placed the order. A week later, silence. I emailed them asking to cancel the order, I was done. No reply. I called. Same distracted guy answered and offered more excuses and promised an update that day. The next day I see an email, sent at midnight, with an apology and more excuses. I replied with my repeated wish to cancel the order. Nothing. I called again today (Oct 31st), several times, they wouldn't even pick up. Sent one last email asking to cancel the order today.

My next call will be to my lawyer.

We do not have time for this, but i will comment some points you mentioned. To avoid some false information for the clients you written here.

- Discounted prices: Brand is doing the sales/ we can buy for discounted prices: we do sales/ we are making discounts.
- Dont tryst any of that:
Trust any of that, because everyhtink is legit. 7000+ customers are happy and as we know by the experience: Unfortunately, happy customers they are not writing the reviews. Only the customers like you, writing a reviews. And trying to say things loud for everyone. But if you had this experience it is not meaning all the customers had this experience.
- Store is coming up on Tshops :)

The Case which you experienced with our store. First of all my apologies for it. We did not make this on purpose. Something went wrong here, as we usually have a very good stock of Sequential and Oberheims, Moogs and so on. You can visit our store in person and see this with you eyes.

Sometimes this situations can happen. This situations also can happen with any other stores. And its normal. Sad is: that you can leave the bad review for the store, but store cant leave the bad review for the customer :)

We are just a humans. Also we do operate with the information brand is giving to us. We are the small team. And we dont want to be like a big stores.

One example.
- One brand was promised that we will receive some instruments by the Christmas three.
- We received all the goods in the Summer time.

Happens. Manufacturing process, something went wrong with the delivery, palette is lost. In the retail can happen everything. I can give you much more examples like this. But of course we are trying our best to avoid this situations and make our customers happy.

Time when you was placing the order, our website was still under the big construction. You can see now, how its improved, very big changes was maded. Every day we are working very hard on the best service, website representation and so on.

The beauty of the human relationship is the - simplicity.
My next call will be to my lawyer... :)
Simply call to us one more time. If nobody is picking up, maybe we are busy with the customers in the store. Maybe we was closed. But we always call back to our customers and always picking up the phone.

Anyway., we made some mistakes. My apologies for them. We are working on them. Working all the time - growing all the time. 50 years study - 50 years study how to live the life.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service.
Unacceptable shipping times.
Open case at Paypal.
If they only would refund as fast as they give arrogant and unreflected advice.

Customer service: is learning, growing and learning from mistakes all the time. You can't be born a professional - you learning and becoming a professional.
Shipping times: some goods coming from the USA, some from the Japan and so on. Mistakes can occur, we are still learning how to predict all the time frames. Probably AI will helps a lot in the future :D

Open case at PayPal:
If the client is asking for the cancel or the refund - we processing it straight away :)
The processing window is from 2-14 days. Check how the systems and the law is working in this case.
We never keeping/ scamming our clients. We have a different vision of how the things should be done. Simply - we are following the law :)

Hopefully next time you will have a better experience. You are always welcome. Dont get in the trap of your first experience. We are the good guys :)

Stay away

Bought an Austrian OC18 from them, payment was made through Paypal and booked on my bank account.

After a week I contacted them and allegedly the product would be shipped on the following day.

To date no tracking number, no microphone.

Opened a case with Paypal.

BUY FROM THIS STORE

This store is incredibly transparent and responds to messages within minutes. It's possible that shipping might take a bit longer since it's a small business, which they also communicate. They even managed to send out my package during a move. If you don't like this, go buy from bigger stores and don't complain, but you'll miss out on the great deals that VoltMusic offers. Supporting small businesses like this one, which operate with passion, is important. Thanks for the fast service, VoltMusic!

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE

At first they lost my order which sat unattended for two weeks. When I contacted them about the delay they asked me to pay 140 euros extra for the studio monitors.

At this point I asked them to cancel the order and remove my account information as per EU GDPR regulations. In the latest reply they asked me if I have any IT or Python experience as they don't know how to do that themselves.

I bought a Strymon pedal from the stores website. Some days later, I wrote the store, because I still hadn't recieved notification of the shipment, although the money was withdrawn from my account long ago, and paid to the store. The store writes me back that it's gonna be another week, before they recieve the pedal, although their site stated that it was in stock. They also want me to pay additional 49 EURO, because there allegedly was a bug on their site, pricing the pedal wrong, or else they would cancel the purchase.

I demanded the pedal at the price I had already paid, but was met with arrogance, and told I was gonna get my money back the next day. It's due time, and I still haven't recieved my money back.

This communication becomes inappropriate and you are threatening us with all possible institutions with no grounds. I have been very transparent since the very beginning explaining the situation. Referring to the fact we are doing something illegal is not acceptable because we do all within the law.

We, therefore, reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and to change or update information at any time without prior notice. We reserve the right to refuse to fulfill any orders that you may place based on information on the website that may contain errors or inaccuracies, including, without limitation, errors, inaccuracies, or out-of-date information regarding pricing, shipping, payment terms, or return policies.

Therefore accusing us of illegal action after we have issued a refund as promised makes no sense to continue discussing this any further.

It is sad to end up in a situation like this but we are a small business operated by humans, human mistakes can happen and we have been trying to find a solution, which in this case was not accepted by you and I understand that. In some situations we lose customers which is not what we have been looking for but at the end of the day it is what it is.

We wish you to find the desired product elsewhere and hopefully you will get a better experience. Attached is a copy from the issued refund for your reference.
