I looked at 5 different NZ options and 3 different international options when looking for an engagement ring. there was a specific design that was required, and it was not easy to find someone to make this ring using high quality diamonds and gold, and at a price that was reasonable and affordable. I was so lucky to find The Village Goldsmith - Colleen was absolutely fantastic and designed exactly what we were looking for, and sourced the most perfect diamond for us, and put it altogether in only a few weeks! Highly recommended, and honestly i will never go anywhere else for Jewellery - total trust and confident in the team at The Village Goldsmith.

A lovely experience with all staff, found exactly what we were after. At no time we’re we pressured or made to feel out of place, and when we returned our lovely staff member we knew exactly what we had returned for. The follow up emails and offer of cleaning was excellent. Always beautiful and unique pieces of a very high quality.

Everyone goes out of their way for you
My partner has spent the most time with the team but I’ve heard they were hugely helpful in helping curate his ideas. He researched the whole of the country and didn’t find a better place to get the engagement ring than here. The ring they created together was unbelievably beautiful. Everyone in the shop are so lovely and professional to deal with and go out of their way to get things perfect for us. It has been a pleasure.
