Had to cancel insurance due to faulty car had contacted Vavista to let them know a week into the policy, car was eventually collected a month into policy albeit had been sitting in drive unused Obviously had to pay for time insured ,policy had cost £303 so was expecting a reasonable rebate hadn’t banked on a £75 cancellation fee and £77 brokerage fee got £131 back Definitely read the small print before going with these also very unhelpful on phone

Ineffective app and online customer portal. Telephone customer services not much better, agent's knowledge was severely lacking, unsure of how to do anything. Website says my model car dosen't exist. If u want a company you can deal with in a reasonable way, avoid this company like the plague!!!!

Do Not Use!!
Have just phoned up Vanista to cancel my car insurance and it’s definitely not a call centre in Britain, there was lots of noise and shouting which made it hard to hear but I was told that I wud have to pay £93.15 to cancel which equates to nearly 3 months payments, I never used the RAC breakdown cover and I’m up to date with the payments, I’ve just read that it’s a brokerage firm and to be honest I’m more than fuming, I’m 62 yo and this is definitely a contender for rip off Britain!!!!!

Worst company I've ever had the misfortune to use. Call centre is not from the UK and definitely not helpful. Only wanted to cancel my insurance (without paying more than I owe!!). This company has to be a major contributer to the 'rip off Britain' would never use these idiots again even if it means paying a bit more!!

Took this insurance out he use it was the best quote. Whilst waiting for it to start I was asked to send in copies of my driving licence which I did. In the day it started I was emailed to say that having reviewed my policy with the new documentation they would be giving me a refund of £18 odd. But as this is an amendment to the policy they will charge me £50.
Huh! I didn’t ask for the amendment. Also I am now a lower risk but my payments will go up anyway. How does that work.
I phoned them and asked to cancel. I was placed on hold several times I asked to speak to a manager but was told that in the whole building none were available…..
I asked how long it would take for a call back, was told up to 72 hours.
My reaction to this was, what you mean is that I have to keep this policy for a few days so that you can then charge me more for that privilege.
I threatened them with legal action and action in social media. They agreed to cancel and gave me £25 refund.
I am out by about £45 now and I doubt I will get this refund.
I would rather lose that than have to make a claim with them.
I should have checked the reviews first.
I am sure they will post a response which is identical to all of the others. And if they mean what they say then none of us would have had to write these reviews so it is all just a game to them and I would say verging fraudulent.

Vavisa who are a broker avoid
If anything happen to your car whilst you are with vavista then expect no any help from, not only that, they demand even more money from you (hidden charges with hidden policy). They are a broker and trust me they wont accept they are, but after i attempted several times i got one who was honest enough to admit they are a broker. Avoid broker they are pain when you encounter problem.

Very good price and quick and easy to set up the policy
These people are criminals and not…
These people are criminals and not helpful in anyway. They hide information from you just to prevent you from getting the right help you need. Their customer service have little to no knowledge of what’s going on and will put you on hold every time you ask a question and eventually end the call after waiting for over an hour for an answer.
They just want to take your money and not render any services. If you make a wrong request for help, they won’t correct you so they will be able to avoid rendering assistance even if you are paying for that service as an add on. Just leave these people and go elsewhere.

outrageous cancellation fee
I have been with this company 3 years now and i decided to purchase a new car similar to my current one yet the price went up £600 more over the 4 months that is left to run taking the monthly payments to over £250 so i had no choice but to cancel, to my suprise the fee is £118 even thou only 4 months left. Outrageous..never use this company again..

Greedy company
When my car was scrapped after an accident Vavista's sister company paid for the scrappage, I also emailed Vavista telling them I no longer had the car but they still went on and charged a month's instalment and even worse are trying to charge me £80 for the policy not being cancelled. Insurance companies are ripping people off with their policies but this is beyond a joke.

did my insurance on line payed for it , the policy came through with the wrong start date on . rang up to speech about it had cancel that policy got charged £35 for the privilege of there mess up .did a new quote and policy over the phone for it to be £29 more expensive and my excesses gone up from £325 to £525 just for there mess up to change a DATE !!!!!! Worst insurance company ever dealt with in all mortoring years . Shocking ripp off merchants !!!!

The worst car insurer I've ever had
The worst car insurer I've ever had. My parked car was damaged by the other motorists, the photo evidence and all details attached to the claim and all what the ensurer is offered is to scrap my no claim discount unless I well provide CCTV footage just because the wrongdoer escaped from the scene of accident. Basically I've paid substantial insurance fee to be penalised for someone else fault. Avoid this company.
