I’m writing this as a really disappointed parent.
We purchased this baby monitor because being able to see and hear our children at night is incredibly important for our family’s peace of mind. For a long time it worked well, which is why this experience has been so upsetting.
Recently the parent unit completely stopped working. It will not hold a charge and now will not power on at all — even when plugged in. That means the entire monitor system is unusable.
As parents, we rely on this device every night to monitor our children, so suddenly losing it has been incredibly stressful for our family. I reached out to customer support hoping there might be some understanding or help, since this appears to be a device failure from normal use.
Unfortunately, because the monitor is just outside the warranty period, the only option offered was a small discount toward buying a completely new unit. No replacement, no refurbished option, and no real solution for a product that stopped working entirely.
I understand companies have policies, but it was heartbreaking to be told there was nothing that could be done when this is a product designed for child safety and monitoring.
The support team was polite, but the outcome left me feeling very let down. I truly wish the company had shown a little more compassion or flexibility in this situation.
I hope sharing this experience helps other parents make an informed decision.
Customer service is the worst.....
Camera works ok but trying to get another mount is like pulling teeth. So with that being said and no one to get a call back from or an email. I would not recommend this dash cam....
I am so disappointed with VAVA
I am so disappointed with VAVA. My four-year-old projection TV started going into Eco mode and immediately shutting down due to high temperatures. After going back-and-forth multiple times with Vava, and following their recommendations on home fixes, they finally told me they believe it is a sensor. They told me it would be approximately $1200 and 6 to 8 months for them to repair it. This is such horrible customer service. I would never recommend this product again. Be warned if you have any problems with your TV, you probably now have a $3000 paper weight.

These monitors are cheaply made and do not last, and customer service is terrible.
My first monitor started making a loud buzzing sound 3 months after starting to use it.
Vava replaced it, but made me send my monitor back before sending a new one. They did not send the replacement for over a week. As a new mother this gave me anxiety and I purchased a different monitor so I didn’t have to be without one.
The replacement monitor Vava sent only last 7 months, then the kickstand fell off and started blacking out off and on.
Vava refused to fix this issue because I was outside the original purchase window of 12 months. I am extremely disappointed that I have had two failed monitors and Vava does not stand behind their products.

This company is terrible stay away!!!!! I order the 8” monitor with 3 add on cameras. They allowed me to order and then emailed saying they didn’t have add on cameras. I tried (sent multiple emails) immediately to cancel the monitor but they ignored my emails and sent anyways. Now I will be charged shipping to return for their mistake. Not an honest company and not reliable products. Stay far far away!!!!
Liers and spammers
First, during the projector buying process they requested my U.S. driving license. Don’t fall for it as no merchant has right to do so.
Then they kept spamming me with unsolicited emails.
Even after reporting it twice and them confirming they removed me from mailing lists it keeps happening.
They have no respect for customer rights.
Never ever any business with them or alike company.
VAVA will not record continuously
We purchased a VAVA dash cam with the expectation that it would record when the vehicle was turned on. Thought it was working as the little blue light continuously blinks when the car is on/running.
Have had it for a few years and eventually caught an accident that took place right in front of me. Upon reviewing the video on the microchip, the camera did not catch the accident.
Called VAVA and they relayed that there is no ability to continuously record and that there is no such dash cam that will. In speaking with the rep, Chris, relayed, basically, "...tough luck". Told him I would consider giving a bad review to advise other consumers, he said, "Go right ahead".
Guess I'm out hundreds of dollars and now having to shop for a true dash cam that continuously records...in which, contrary to Chris' comment, there appears to be a number of such dash cams.
Vava Chroma all hype, too many complaints. Don't buy.

You never know when it works and when it doesn't and sometimes stops working in the middle of a show. Tried all the tricks the customer service suggested which sound really amateur and stupid. Never but their product. Their customer service is run by a bunch of non-technical people who can't give you proper advice.
My dashcam died 2 years later
My dashcam died 2 years later. Contacted customer service and they stated nothing they can do and only offered a $15 discount for a future purchase. I do not trust their products, quality, customer service or longevity of their products. Take caution.
Astoundingly bad product and customer service
Astoundingly bad customer service. We spent over $300 for baby monitors from VAVA that we purchased at our local Target. They were fine at first, but after three months the USB-C charging ports became incredibly difficult to use and would not consistently charge. We had to bend the cables at weird angles to get the charge to go through. This is an extremely common issue as Reddit and other forums are littered with this exact complaint; just google "VAVA monitor charging port" and you'll get tons of results of other families with the exact issues that we have.
I reached out to customer service and it's been literally two months of back and forth with no resolution. They want us to mail our two monitors in for inspection before they'll commit to replacing them. I have said over and over that we rely on the monitors for bedtime and if we send these (even though they're not working great) we'd be forced to buy new ones in the interim. They have not even acknowledged that nor do I think my issue is being understood.
I am reaching out to Michael Tawadrous, the chairman of VAVA monitors, to see if he is willing to help and stand by his product. In the meantime, I highly advise against these.

Our baby monitor died randomly after only using it for a month. I emailed initially and got a response, but after providing them with all the requested information they haven't responded for over two days. There is no other way to contact them. This isn't acceptable for a service that is meant to help people live safer lives. I need a refund of this unnecessarily expensive product that doesn't work.
Shut down app without warning
Bought a product from this company which had to be controlled from an app.
They just discontinued the app without warning so the expensive product is now useless.

they scammed me
simply scammers - I spent 730USD for a battery based video surveillance kit, but their service was cloud based and they suddendly interrupted the support without any notice. They don't offer a refund nor unlocked the webcams for another kind of platform (for example a simple ftp image upload). The whole kit is now just garbage.

WORST customer service. I think they’re all robots. I explained my issue so many times in so many different ways, and there’s no resolution. Do not buy from this company. Their website is misleading. Their customer service is horrible.
I Lost Everything using their SSDs
I Lost Everything using their SSDs. After 2 years their SSDs get corrupted and cannot be read by my M1 Macbook Pro. Avoid like a plague and stick to better known brands like Samsung and Crucial etc..

Purchased an outdoor camera system from a second hand dealer new in the box . Tried to set up the cameras and that’s when o found out there website that supports the cameras doesn’t work and hasn’t worked for awhile. Contacted VAVA and was told by there rep that there aware of the issue and at the moment there’s nothing they can do about it,,..,,, I’m still in disbelief .
Avoid their products, they'll never answer customer support
Alright, I bought their product new from another website a few weeks ago but the rear cam was having issues with video. Tried to contact their customer support, told them what was wrong and provided proof of purchase. Then asked me to send photo/video of the issue multiple times so their "engineer" could check and diagnose the problem? Had me wait a month without a response, so I followed up asking if I could just buy a replacement rear camera cable (since they ignored me when asking about warranty to cover it). They said sure, but would have to check with their engineer if they even had the cable in stock, and then have to pay for shipping. Been over a week and haven't even gotten a reply for that.
Frankly, their camera is basic and functions as intended, I just wish the rest of it would work. You can test your luck and buy their products and pray they work long enough before having to risk contacting their worthless customer support services. Their support was frustrating and couldn't solve my problems in a timely fashion, making me think they're just delaying the inevitable dissatisfaction with their crummy products. BUY ELSEWHERE!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Purchased a baby monitor thay stopped charging after 10 months of use. Contacted customer service who at first wouldn't even help. They then admitted there is a fault with the product but no willing to help. Now out of pocket and without a working monitor. Avoid at all costs. The worst company I have ever dealt with.

Bought the vava chroma for $3,400+. After 6-8 months a dead pixel occurred. I contacted support for advice and nothing resolved it after troubleshooting. They then offered to replace the projector. I was a bit skeptical, so I was not going to send it out and just live with the dead pixel. After 1+ months of not sending it, VAVA’s support team contacted me to send the projector back so they can replace it. It’s been 6+ weeks and they have not sent a replacement because it was sold out. The support team did not notify me the product was sold out and did not have a unit to replace it before asking me to send the product back. They also promised it would take 2 weeks for the replacement to arrive. Now I’m here robbed of $3,400. Stay away from this company.
